I was really excited when I heard a pies and pints was coming to the Greene. Ive been to the Pies and Pints in Columbus and Fayetteville and always had excellent food and great service. Ive been to the Greene location twice, and both times the food was good, service was a bit lacking. Hopefully theyll improve with time. The first time we went with a large group, and the order was screwed up a bit. One pizza wasnt cut when it arrived at the table (not a big deal - but when youre waiting for what seems like forever for your pizza arrive - you cry a small tear when it disappears back into the kitchen.) Then, they brought the bill out as a single check. There went another 45 minutes of my life wading through that fiasco. The second time we went there my pizza wasnt right, so I had to wait while it was remade. The food is good when you finally get it. One suggestion - I tried the gluten free pizza on a lark - wow - they do not tell you that for the same price as a regular pizza, you get a pizza that is gone in about four bites. Of course its gluten free - its so small - its probably calorie free too. If youre gluten intolerant and you want to eat here, get a salad, or ten gluten free pizzas.

First off I used to love Pies & Pints and think there pizza is really good and beer selection is great but at my last visit there were 2 major issues. 1. When I ordered a pizza to go while the rest of my table dined in as I wanted to bring a nice pizza back to my wife and they were staying to go to a movie. They got their pizzas within 15-20 minutes of ordering but it took them 55 minutes to bring me mine with no explanation. I just kept getting "just checked, it will be a couple more minutes" for approximately 20 minutes. 2. My 2nd issue is the most concerning one though. Prior to getting our table we all ordered a beer at the bar and I closed my tab then. A couple days later when I checked my credit card statement online I noticed that rather than charging me approximately $6 for beer + tip they had charged me approximately $8. While this isnt a great deal of money it is still theft. I have tried contacting them once regarding this and they were very busy so I was unable to talk to a manager but I will keep trying as this is a reason for me to never return.

I stumbled upon this place while out and about shopping at the greene with some girlfriends and we decided to end our girls day out with a late lunch/early dinner at this new pizza and beer place. so many beer options!! we were a little overwhelmed because we werent sure where to begin because were not very adventurous beer drinkers but our server was excellent and was able to ask us the right questions to help guide us in the right direction and narrowed it down to a few options and was able to bring us samples and found the perfect beers for each of us! the restaurant has a great décor and atmosphere; but I do think the style takes away from the comfort, the seating was uncomfortable and the chairs were awkward to sit in. the food was great and the salads are huge!! the pesto pie was incredible! I will definitely be back soon! the only unfortunate part is that I dont remember our servers name or else I would request her the next time I come in!

Just ate here with my wife and some friends. First off, the service was sub par. Our server came over and talked to us without taking our drink order, then we had to give our food order 3 different times to the same server. After that, they tried to serve us the same wrong order 3 different times. After an hour we finally got our order, but it was still not completely correct. The reason we are not rating the restaurant lower was because 1. the food was outstanding, we really enjoyed the meal and I enjoyed my draft Root Beer but also 2. the management staff was very apologetic and addressed our situation. After this the server also was very apologetic about the service. The bathrooms were very clean, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was different, but enjoyable. The food was great and the managements desire to correct the situation would bring us back in in the future.

Highly recommend doing 1/2 and 1/2 on a large pizza so that you can try more of their specialty pizzas. We went for a spicy combo of sriracha chicken (instead of shrimp) on 1/2 and black bean (with added pulled pork) on the other 1/2. Both were tweaks from what was listed on the menu, but were specifically recommended by out waiter. He did not fail us! The sriracha chicken started out sweet due to the pineapple, but finished with plenty of head as the sriracha creme sauce kicked in. The black bean started out a but stringer due to the salsa and jalapeños, but the marinated pulled pork added a ton of extra flavor. As with all P&Ps pizza, the real star is the crust. Of course we had a nice selection of beers from their revolving beer board, including Abita Purple Haze, Two Brothers Domaine DuPage, Rhinegeist Truth, and Elevator Xtra.

Memorial Day: went tonight to have dinner with my family and ordered chicken wings and chicken gouda Pizza. The food came out a little late but the manager JD took care of us very well. Something happen with our order but JD gave us nachos and salsa while we waited and assured us that our pizza was going to come out soon. It did. He and the server were very apologetic and took care of the bill. They made sure that we were satisfied customers in the end, and we absolutley were. JD demonstrated to me and my family that he values his customers. It wasnt the first time we ate there and it certainly will not be the last! And Im not saying that because of the free specialty pizza we also recieved: Thats just bonus! Oh, the pizza was terrific! I highly recommend Pies & Pints at the Greene Mall!

Talk about exceptional service!! My boyfriend and I were out running errands at The Greene and we decided to stop and eat here. The atmosphere was phenomenal. It mimics a small fair/circus feel. We ordered a half Chicken Gouda and half Chipolte Chicken pizza. The kitchen accidentally messed up on our order but the waitress, the kitchen manager, and the general manager were all quick to fix the issue and we didnt even complain about it in the first place. I was going to try to eat the pizza regardless of the kitchens mistake. We did not expect them to take care of the majority of the bill and treat us to dessert. I was pleased with this place from the moment I walked in. I will definitely be visiting Pies & Pints in the future. Its my new favorite pizza restaurant.

Pies and Pints at the Greene, by far, has been one of the best eateries I have had while visiting in Dayton. Our server, Kresten, was simply fabulous, charming and amazingly helpful. Upon asking for the collection of IPAs, she brought me the best samples. If you are an IPA guy or doll, try their Hop Head Red or if you into lighter ones, try golden moneky. If not, just ask question Kristen. Now comes to food, cant stop admiring. I have had their Thai and Siracha Shrimp pies.. I still cant stop thinking about those...i am definitely coming here next time I visit Dayton. Also brining my friend who suggested me this place...
