If youre ordering take out, think twice. I ordered the meat lasagna, a meatball, and the baklava. The lasagna was full of grease, and was a mixture of overcooked noodles (I think they were chopped up ziti noodles, certainly not lasagna noodles), bland sauce, and this huge amount of cheese that amazingly enough still couldnt bind the whole dish together - because of the grease. The meatball was a little better, but it came with marinara sauce. The sauce overpowered the meatball, and really - it should have been spaghetti sauce. A two dollar jar of Ragu super chunky would have been better. Garlic bread was run of the mill stuff. The side salad was actually the best part of the meal, and that was only because I couldnt stand to eat the rest of what I described, and I guess its better that way. Not sure if Im going to eat the baklava or not, but havent tried it. Folks, if youre from out of town, I suggest avoiding this place. Im only posting this in case youre considering stopping here because of the local tourist attraction. Just my two cents.

If I could give zero starts I would. Dissatisfied FORMER customer. We live in the area and get take out often. this evening my husband got a pound of gyro meat and a large taziki sauce to go. When he got home we noticed the meat looked small so we put it on our digital scale. In the container is weighed 9.04 ounces instead of 16 ounces or anywhere close to that. Thinking this was a simply oversight he called the restaurant and was told...no the kitchen weighed it. He then asked to speak to a manager and was told...he is about to leave. He then said...he doesnt have time to speak to a costumer and he was told...no! We will be taking our business elsewhere and sharing our experience with our friends, family and neighbors. To top off the HORRIBLE customer service...this company will delete any negative comments made on their FB page and then BLOCK you from making any comments. I also sent an email to which I got no response. This restaurant is a FAIL! Skip this place and try Messinas! Same area, off hwy 29 in Lilburn.

Gone once will never go again. While the waitress was a joy to talk to. Friendly and very helpful. The food left me wishing for actual Greek food. The only saving grace for this place was the Saganaki, the Pita bread, the Tzatziki, and the Calamari. Even if the Calamari was a bit over breaded for my tastes it was well cooked. The lettuce, tomato, onion, and feta salad that came with the meal was fresh and the feta was very good. However the shining star that makes a Greek meal amazing was bland. Im talking about the Gyro meat. While moist it didnt even rate good. And the chicken and pork that was served with the meal was just this side of Jerky. I had to drink water to help chew and swallow said meat. While I understand that every place have their own recipes some foods should not be cooked until dried out. Meat is one of them. The Dolmathes that was served was either old or canned and very slimy. ICK! I really wanted to like this place but the reviews do not do it justice.

We went to Colossus on a Saturday night. The entry way was very warm and the first thing you see coming in is the bathroom. The seating and decor is very dated. These things could be overlooked if the food was good. The spanikopita tasted okay, but was greasy and not as crispy as others I have had. The mixed vegetables that were served as a side on the gyro plate were simply frozen vegetables. They werent seasoned at all. The vegetable casserole was supposed to come with a butter sauce, but was served with a tomato sauce. It also had a huge piece of eggplant in it that still had the tough skin on it and the seeds. When I pointed out the sauce issue the waitress told me that was the way it always comes. I had to read it to her from the menu and tell her we had never been there. Only after going over it twice did she offer to fix it.

We visited on a Tuesday and they had a special on their pizzas. For the 6 of us we ordered a large antipasto salad, a large Hawaiian and small colossal pizza. It fed everyone. We didnt want any leftovers since we were travelling from out of town. All was yummy. The decor is dated and scarce, but you need to look past that because the service and food were great. Some of the best places to eat dont come with all the bells and whistles.

I grew up in Lilburn, and now into my college years, still live in the area. After softball practices, my family would come here. Even though it doesnt look like much, the food is great and the waiters / waitresses are always super nice and talkative (though there is usually only one or two there depending on the day)! I love this restaurant :) LOVE the spinach lasagna and their meatballs are absolutely wonderful!

This hole-in-the-wall restaurant has apparently been popular since it first opened in 1983. Oh, the moussaka! You can tell its real Greek. Ignore the 80s decor (they say they remodeled in 2006) and enjoy the friendly service and delicious Greek food. Ive only dined in twice but I regularly go for moussaka take-out. The spinach lasagna is also very good. I will update as I explore the rest of the menu.

Great food, needs some refurbishing. Best place Ive come across for Saganaki. The food is always great, and the serving staff rocks. Its a great place for my whole family to go and enjoy a meal. The decor leaves a bit to be desired, but considering this is an area establishment (at least 25 years that I know of), Ill give them some room here as long as their quality continues to stay high!

The last two times at Colossus were not good. Today the drink order was wrong as was the food order. Our sandwiches were cold and fries were put in one basket, which we got after our gyros. Last time they charged me for the dinner entree instead of the luncheon casserole. Will not go back. We have been going over 25 years. It seems to be going downhill and not very clean!!

Spegetti and meatballs were a good deal and fine for the price. Baked spegetti cassarol not so much. They use "cheddar cheese" ? According to the menu. My salad was scary old ... Waitress was very nice and said she would "see" what he would do about it? Lived here for 17 years Visited Colossus 3 times Recommend that you just get it to go.

The food was absolutely terrible. We ordered a Philly cheese steak, six hot wings, and a gyro all of which were barely passable for human consumption. I typically dont like to judge a book by its cover, but you can definitely tell the quality of the food when you walk into the restaurant.

Ive been going here off and on for 30 years. My partner and I find Friday nights here after a long week to be VERY helpful. Amazing food (Pizzas, Gyros, Salads) and a staff that knows what pitcher of beer I want before I even order it. Try it. You will HATE all other pizza.
