This is by far my favorite Publix. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and - for the most part - very professional. Today I went in and immediately noticed that the aisle assignments have been moved around making it quite difficult to find anything. Im wondering who was the "corporate genius" that decided (again) to shift things around so that no one, not even the employees, know where anything is? Looks like someone took a college course, or read some "study" and decided they were the new marketing efficiency expert; fostering a change without any regard for customer expectations toward consistency. So...my visit took considerably more time as I roamed the store trying to figure out the new corporate scheme". Note to Corporate: Stop it...just because youre in a decision making position does not mean you have to make a decision to prove your worth.

I usually love Publix but this one is very frustrating. Many of the employees are unfriendly and several have language boundaries to the point its not really possible to communicate with them. Ive repeatedly gotten the wrong cuts from the seafood counter because they dont understand what Im asking for. The sandwich bar, usually one of my favorite options for a quick lunch, is chaotic, abysmally slow, and again suffers from a language boundary.

There were 2 employees in the salad bar area that were so unprofessional. They didnt speak when I approached, then proceeded to block the bar I as I was trying to fix my food. They stood there arguing & complaining like I wasnt standing there. Even as I said excuse me, they noved out of the way like I was bothering them.

Publix is always clean. There is always someone to help anywhere in the store. Always somone at the customer service desk. My first choice in a grocery store in my area.
