Most Asians and at least their non-Asian friends that they persuaded to come along, are familiar with Sweet Hut through out the years, so Ill skip on the basics and get straight to the food. Curry Chicken puff pastry - Great when fresh. OK after a day or two. If you have a toaster oven, USE IT! I feel like microwaving it doesnt keep the pastry flaky. More mild on the curry flavoring, sometimes the ratio of filling to pastry is a little off. Egg tart - Hinting on richness, but not that much better than the ones served at dim sum carts at other Chinese food restaurants. The crust is usually consistent. 85 degree Celsius bakery in LA has the best so far. Better ask someone whos visiting to bring you some! Shredded pork bun - Wasnt feeling this too much. I also feel the ratio is also off on the shredded pork compared to the bun it is stuffed in. Wasnt wowd. Custard creme bun - Slightly sweet, for both the creme and bun. Its ok if you just want something to munch on before deciding on where to go to dinner. Milk teas - disclaimer: I am no way near being any kind of bubble tea aficionado. Royal Milk Tea - Hands down made the best at Quickly. The girls working behind the counter were unfamiliar with the mix of Jasmine Green Tea and Black Milk tea. Skip on trying to get it here. Dont order it at Honey Bits either. Thai Tea - Pretty standard, but not quite as rich as Americanized Thai restaurants. Good, but theres better. Boba toppings - I think they are consistent as for as texture. Thumbs up for that. One thing I wish they improved on their original location in Ga is to have a now serving number sign already (a la DMV). As loud as it gets in here, why make your cashiers lose their voice trying to yell above the boisterous crowd. *facepalm. But still, they didnt expand to two other locations so far for not being good at other beverages and pastries. 3.5 stars overall.

I am not coming back to this place. Someone told me about this place since I loved drinking boba tea. Thats all I came for since I hadnt had one in 2 years since I moved here. I ordered my favorite flavor Taro Boba. I had no boba in my tea as I paid for, and I had a reaction to the tea that I had to get diphenhydramine. I was extremely miserable and disappointed as well as no one responded to my complaint. I knew something was wrong when I got my Boba and I should of followed my instincts. Everyone acted like they didnt want to be bothered when I had an issue. So, unless I know what ingredients they put in their boba and have better service... I am not coming back. I went to a korean place and made my own boba... no problem. Save me 4 dollars that what I threw away in the trash.

Holy moly this is the best dessert shop or bakery in Atlanta!!! Everything is great.. and Ive tried almost everything! If you want a drink then the bubble tea or coffee is excellent. The barbecue pork rolls are also a stand out. Ive gotta stop there because the review would be way too long if I listed all of the good stuff. The dining area is always clean and its well decorated. Sometimes Sweet Hut gets very busy but that only speaks to how great this place is and the staff always keeps the line moving pretty quickly. I once had an issue with an order and it was handled immediately. Youre really missing out if you dont give Sweet Hut a try.

This particular location (Buford Hwy) has very poor service. The staff seems to be a team of young high school students with little to no desire to work; usually very rude and detached. I dont enjoy coming to this store solely because the service is so poor, but Ill make the trip sometimes for the Barley Milk Tea, its my favorite & sadly isnt available at the Midtown store. Food is always delicious. However the staff is very cold; I would expect better treatment especially considering I visit the Midtown location on a daily basis and have a rewards card. I love Sweet Hut, but this store does not know how to treat loyal customers.

I went there for the first time on a Friday night. Very interesting vibe! Lots of people (casual with computers, relaxed in sweatpants, dressed up for a night out), so be prepared for it to be a little on the overly crowded side. Ive heard the bubble tea is awesome- will try it out next time. I loved the concept with the pastries! Grab a tray, pick up some tongs, and serve yourself from the jam packed pastry cases! The tarro buns are delicious as were the cream-filled buns. They package them in awesome to-go boxes/bags. Parking is easy and dont be put off by the line to pay as it moves fairly quickly.

The specialty cakes here are absolutely delicious. Whenever we have a special event at work, I always order a cake from here. The vanilla strawberry cakes is one of my favorite specialty cakes. Sweet Hut really distinguishes itself from other bakeries in the Doraville area by focusing on nailing the details. The staff members are incredibly accommodating. They will taken your vision, no matter what it may be, and make it a reality. Even the boxes that the cakes come in are decadent; I swear, you wont want to throw them away. Sweet Hut, I am definitely sweet on you.

Sweet Hut is expanding and Im so glad. I love their not-too-sweet pastries and their savory treats. Particularly, the curry chicken as it reminds me of Jamaican patties. This place is usually packed, especially late at nights. Asian teens have this place on lock. But if you muddle your way through with some patience, youre in for a treat. They have a wide assortment of baked goods and bubble tea drinks. The prices are affordable to where you can try an assortment of goodies. They have wi-fi and are open late on the weekends.

This was a pretty nice bakery with a large selection of bread and a decent beverage selection. When I came in I noticed a few of the bread cases had flies trapped inside and that is just a bit unhygienic. The staff should check the cases frequently, closing them if customers forget or at least removing the fly in the case if they see one hovering around. The taste of the pastry was pretty good and the milk tea was decent. It had a more milk flavor opposed to a tea flavor, but it wasnt bad for the price.

Great spot for a snack, drink, dessert, light meal, studying, hanging out, etc. Any, the owner, has either really hard to previous a lovely and popular spot to hang out or just drop by. The cakes are gorgeous and delicious; the band goods are both sweet and savory and are always fresh and inexpensive. The boba tea is great of course. Try the salt and pepper chicken (even mild is spicy!) abd ask for mango sauce on side.... Perfection! Sunday aftenoon can be very busy though.
