Tonight I had the worst experience, It started off with having 2 kids in my party of 12. As k for a kids menu and the menu came out without the crayons. Wich we constantly ask for that was never brought out. In addition to the unbelievable sticky floor. The party ordered their food witch came out sporadically within an hours time. My daughter order her meal they forgot her muffin it came with, it came out after we recieved our bill. My wife ordered shrimp calibash. It came out with minimal half an order. We know this because this is what she normally gets when we eat at this chain. I order all you can eat catfish nuggets and it definitely was not all you can eat. I placed an order for another order of catfish and it never came. The waitress brought me my bill and I asked her about my order and she said she was going to check on it. She came back and said the cook did not drop the Nuggets did I still want them. I said yes. 10 mins later I asked the waitress to put it in a Togo box because my whole party have settled there tabs and we were just waiting on our my order of catfish nuggets. She came back and said that she would take care of it. 45 min later the place is closed down . We are still waiting for our Togo order. Really.. never seen her again..

It had been a while since Ive eaten at folks and I had a random craving for their notorious peach muffins. Thinking Im being a good daughter I decided to take my mother with me for lunch at this Folks in Hiram and I only winded up being a terrible one for the suggestion. Our waitress gave us outstanding service. She was very attentive, caring and had a beautiful personality. Long story short I received spoiled food and when explaining to management that I was becoming ill half way through eating my entree I received the "it must be you" treatment. Im a little hard headed so Ill return for the muffins but itll be too much of a risk to order anything other than that.

Terrible. Ordered fred chicken breast, mash potatos, mac and cheese..when the plate arrived, i asked the server where the chicken was, she agreed it was a.very tiny piece. Also, a tiny spoon of mac and.cheese and a tiny spoon of mash. It was nothing more than a skinny dried out tenderloin, where i had ordered a breast. last i knew, a breast was a big piece of chicken, with skin and bones, She said they had run out of the bigger pieces earlier. I told her they should be ashamed of themselves and she agreed. She never offered to get a manager or discount the bill or anything. I left there as hungry as when i arrived. What a shame. It used to be a nice place to eat.

I would like to preface this by saying that this is the only online review Ive ever written. We dropped in for dinner this evening; hadnt been in about a year. Definitely a decline in quality. The biscuits were dry and tasteless, nothing like the buttery discs of heaven they used to be. The cornbread dressing was not edible. Tasted and smelled sour, like they used very old stock to make it or something. My husband, the black hole who eats anything, spat it out when I asked him to try it. The mac and cheese used to taste homemade. Now it tastes like they dumped it out of a bag and melted some cheddar on top of it. Just bad. Wont be back.

We havent been to Folks in a long time, and decided to go last night. There was a wait when we got there, so I put our name on the list. The hostess skipped over us and sat 3 tables that were behind us before she asked me if wed been helped. When we were finally seated I ordered "Atlantas Best Fried Chicken". It was horrible. Cold and dry like it had been sitting there all night. The green beans were a can of Allens green beans just warmed up. The only good thing I ate was the mashed potatoes, which I lathered on the chicken to try and give it some moisture. Anyways, we will never go there again.

Luv Folks. One of the places my family and I always enjoy coming to. Customers service is okay not bad but no ones perfect so expect some people not to know what their doing but they should even out the meals more. Our appetizers came within minutes of our food but we finish both of them in record time since we were in a hurry. I would highly recommended this place for a family gathering or just for a night away from the kids... luv yall!! Keep up the good work and I will definitely be back!!!B-)

JUST WANTED TO TAKE THE TIME TO LEAVE A AWESOME REVIEW FOR THIS PLACE I HAVE WENT THERE TWICE WITH 20 PEOPLE IN THEIR PRIVATE ROOM AND THE SERVICE HAS BEEN AMAZING BOTH TIMES THE MANAGER KELLY IS ONE OF THE BEST AND UNDERSTANDING PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET AND THEIR WAIT STAFF IS PHENOMENAL IF YOU HAVE A LARGE PARTY OR JUST YOU AND YOUR SPOUSE THEN GO BY AND SEE THE GREAT PEOPLE AT FOLKS IN HIRAM ASK FOR PAT OR SKYLAR THEY ARE AMAZING AND WILL TAKE CARE OF YOUR EVERY NEED

I felt the need to post our experiences. We moved to the Hiram area 9 mos ago. Weve found this restaurant to be professional, warm and friendly.the service have been consistent in everyway.... The food is totally, totally great. Our favourite is the fried chicken, I am a country girl so the vegetables are southern pride delicious...you will be pleased should you decide to visit. Oh and The manage/owner is super!!!

Good food served hot. I had the All You Can Eat breaded catfish nuggets. Each serving was reasonably sized. The broccoli side was perfectly done - not mushy nor under cooked. The only (minor) con is the longer then usual wait after being seated for a server to appear. After five to seven minutes Miranda noticed and stepped in. Of course my being hungry may have distorted my sense of time :-)

The food was awful this visit. I had the pick two with Chicken, meat loaf, dressing and fried okra. The meat loaf was just plain awful It taste like flour was added to it and it wasnt beef or Turkey. More like a meatless meatloaf. The chicken had no seasoning and the dressing could not have been corn bread. The only good part of my dinner that was good where the okra and the muffin.

Food was pretty good but service was seriously lacking. Food came out right on top of appetizers, got cold while we finished those. Server was obviously new but she really had no clue what was going on. Management should really train the staff better, and at least check on thier new servers tables. Especially after walking by said table about a dozen times. Pretty disappointed.

This food was horrible. The okra taste like dish water. The macaroni and cheese had no flavor at all. They just taste like soggy noodles. The bbq had no flavor could not even get enough sauce on it to eat it. The steak and gravy was the only thing that we liked. The service was very good. But I would not recommend this place, just based on the food.
