PLEASE STAY AWAY! I have never been so disgusted by a huddle house. Came in around 4:30pm - a party of 5. Only 3 other tables were occuppied and there were 2 waitresses and a cook.. Sat at the booth, but it wasnt too clean.. then the one waitress started mopping right next to us.. I love the smell of dirty bleach water as I am trying to look at the menu! Our waitress came over and plopped down a handful of silverware and some napkins on the table and walked off. So my husband began setting the table for us. We eventually ordered, a few waffles, sausage.. the normal.. so we figured it would be ready really fast (i remind you, there was NO other people waiting for food, everyone else already had their plates) when my brother, son and myself got our waffles 20 minutes later.. My sons and mine were COLD and not fluffy at all.. my brother got his with strawberries but the middle was as cold as ours. My mom and hubby still had not gotten their food and when we looked over, my hubbys pork chops were no where on the griddle at all and then we see the cook SWEEPING the floor right next to the griddle! Dust in the food is not something we want plus his hands were bare and to think of all the germs makes me sick, so we called the waitress over (who was doing nothing but rolling silverware and yacking her mouth the entire time!) and told her our food was cold and that we were leaving. We stood up and the manager called from behind the counter "the strawberries we put on top are cold!" and i held up my waffle plate (with nothing on it but the waffle) and said " we have been waiting too long for cold food! and mine is cold too honey!" and began to walk out as he told us the rest of our food was ready.. (which is highly unlikely as the cook was sweeping and certainly NOT cooking).. so we left and went to wendys.. We were there AT LEAST 30 minutes (maybe 45) and had nothing but cold food for 3 of us and nothing for the other 2 - who knows how long my sausage patties would have taken. PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE. There are so many reviews on other sites that say the same things.. this place needs to close down.

Came in with family to have breakfast the morning after a long day rafting the river and doing fun things in Helen as we were very hungry and wanted something to give us energy. We always like Huddle House in other locations so we figured this would be a good start to our day. When we got there about 10am there was a line, or not actually a line, but a gaggle of people waiting to get seats as it was crowded. There was no one to take our name or anyone elses waiting so people were just walking in in front of other people waiting and sitting down. We told the server that she should be taking names and seating people in order and she said it was too much trouble, so after helping the people in front of us find a table we finally muscled our way to our own table, which was dirty. We had to wait about 20 minutes just to sit, and another 5 for someone to come clean our table. (This was on a Sunday morning) We ordered and after about 15 minutes our food came. Standard Huddle House fare. Food was prepared ok and server was nice, nothing spectacular. Will return if cant find anywhere else. Will recommend but with caveat to "be prepared for a wait" and dont wait to be seated!

Waited 20mins in the foyer and 10 of it was looking at a table that needed to be clean. After we finally got the table I look around and there isnt a chance this place is passing inspection, but I have been to dirty looking restaurants before that had good food, so we decided to stay. Should have walked out. The bowl of creamer cups had all empty creamers in it. The food was cold when we got it and the meat was under cooked. To top it all off the server was coughing into their hands and not once did I see them wash their hands. I didnt think it was possible to screw up breakfast, but boy was I so wrong. I want to whack thinking about it. Go ahead and drive to Cleveland and eat at another restaurant, trust me the 9 mile drive is worth it.

We tried to go to Huddle House this morning (Christmas Day.) We had previously called them and were assured that they were open 24/7. When we got there, we found a sign in the window that they were closed, without explanation. We had to make do with a microwaved prefab motel breakfast, a poor substitute on Christmas Day. Other frustrated would-be customers were cruising in and leaving disappointed. Another Huddle House in a neighboring town was open for business, as we later found out. So this isnt a policy of the whole chain. I dont object to their closing for Christmas, but they misled us into believing theyd be open.

Had a large party of 7 and were treated horribly. I asked for a high chair and never got one, the servers response was, "I am busy".We had to wait on our drinks and then waited 25 mins to place an order. Sat with empty drinks to the point that I had to get up and take the empty cups to the counter to get a refill for our entire table. My brother ordered his burger with no tomatoes and then when his plate came out with tomatoes on it the server said "I wrote no tomatoe" and showed him a receipt. Not once did she apologize or anything. WE WILL DEFINATELY NOT RETURN TO THIS LOCATION!

Planning a week trip to Helen rented a cabin and definitely going downtown. The German atmosphere looks wonderful will be there for a week. Going with my three grandchildren and my daughter and son-in-law will be meeting us, since they live in Atlanta. They will be spending the day with us. The peace and quiet of the remote cabin will be good for my grandchildren and myself since becoming a widow five months ago. Going back to nature., and finding some solitude. Will post another comment when Im there Im arriving on July 15th.

Waitress never refilled my tea and I only ate half my meal because I ran out of tea.....I told her I thought I should only have to pay half and she said all she could offer was 10 percent off.....so I paid almost $10 for half a plate of food and one glass of tea.....but I did not leave Kristen a tip .....food was pretty decent

Ate a small plate of hashbrowns with cheese and 1/2 piece of sausage that I took off a biscuit and was sick the rest of the day. The biscuit was one of the small frozen ones and was so dry you could barely swallow it. The cheese I asked for was put on as an afterthought and wouldnt even melt.
