Service Rude! Food was dry and crusty. Grayred woman was no lady!!! We walked in and the 1st thing she said is "we dont serve meals after 4!" I responded "we just want to get" then she walks away before I finished and starts talking with someone else. Someone else comes to the counter and did take care of us. We (2 of us) sat down. Rude women talks to 3 women sitting at a table, tells them to have a goodnight and still says nothing to us, turns off lights and ceiling fans. The other customers walked out as we did right behind them. We will not be going back. Lost our business 1st and last time.

Sweet Kneads is not only a wonderful local restaurant/bakery; James and Joy also offer a phenomenal catering service! They have catered the Coldwell Banker Lake Oconee Realty/Lake Christmas party for over 175 guests several years in a row now. James and Joy (along with their professional staff) offer a wide variety of delicious menu selections and they handle every aspect of setup, service, and clean up - and always with a smile! I love eating at this small bakery and cafe. The food is fresh and delicious always. I love the chicken salad on the fresh baked cracked wheat bread. It is always hard to select a desert. The muffins and cookies are so yummy. Besides the friendly gals that work there, I love seeing my friends, acquaintances, clients and customers. Always treat myself to lunch there whenever I can.

They have great baked goods if you happen to make it on a weekend.... But during the week they only make muffins. So basically if you want something sweet you better not want it any day other than Friday or Saturday. We have some very disappointed people in our house today. Also had the chicken salad. It was okay, but very bland.

Sweet Kneads catered our wedding of about 100 guests. Everyone raved about the food and the cake was absolutely perfect! We had to stop by their shop for breakfast on our way back home. Awesome place, awesome food, run by awesome people. Thanks!

Their chicken salad is amazing. I get the chicken salad sandwich on cracked wheat with lettuce, tomato, and a slice of cheddar on a regular basis. Occasionally, I treat myself to a tollhouse brownie also. To die for!

Both the food and the service are amazing here. My favorite is the chicken salad, but this place has so much more to offer. If youre in the area, be sure to stop in for lunch! You wont be disappointed
