Servers are friendly but they could use a bit more training. Our waitress kept forgetting whose food belonged to who. The dinner was almost empty when we arrived, yet it took our food over 1hr 1/2 to arrive. Understandably we were a large party but Ive never waited so long at other places Ive been to even when they are busy! My food took almost 2 hours. Me and my husband ordered salmon. His was a regular salmon with season and his 2 sides. It also comes with either a salad or soup. He got the salad but that salad was were already going bad. The lettuce leaves were already turning black and soft. And it was not good at all. It was only lettuce and bits of tomatoe plus your dressing. There was no onion, croutons, cheese etc... nothing. My salmon was supposed to have a white cheese sauce on top. I told the waitress I had received the wrong plate because it has nothing on top. She told me it was the right one but the kitchen had ran out of the sauce so they didnt put it on there. I asked her why she hadnt asked me if it was ok without. (Thats another reason why I think the staff needs more training). I had picked a soup instead of a salad. It was good but in all honesty, Im almost 100% sure it was Campbells or similar. The bathroom is kind of grimy and we did see a cockroach near the kitchen. I would not recommend this place at all.

My girlfriend and I were eager to try out this place, so a couple weekends ago we decided to give it a shot. We had a 10 minute wait, which is understandable for a Saturday morning. After being seated, we placed our order, everything seemed normal. My salad came out in a reasonable time. After about 25 minutes, our entrees still had not arrived. I alerted the staff to the situation and a short time later our food arrived. The food that was served to us had clearly been under the heat lamps too long and instead of serving their paying customer late, hot food, they decided to serve me the luke warm food they had originally prepared. We alert the staff that we are not satisfied with the situstion and they try to make us happy by giving us a buy one entree and two drinks and get another $9 entree free. This was an insult as most items on the menu are over $10, and they had ruined my whole meal, not just $9 worth of it. We returned the coupon, tipped our waitress a dime, and left. After reading the other reviews, I see that I am not the only person with problems like this. Dine at your own risk. They are clearly concerned with their bottom line, and not their customers.

We were staying at Sonesta across the street, and we walked over to Georgia Diner for a late dinner around 9PM. Awful, TERRIBLE service. Not one time were we offered a drink refill, and our server never came back to check on us after she brought us our food. The food was hit and miss. I had a breakfast plate, and the eggs were very good! But my friend ordered the "special" of BBQ sandwich, and the whole thing was just really awful. He had asked the server if he could sub the fries for mac & cheese, and she said that they wouldnt substitute it - even though they are THE SAME PRICE. He asked her to talk to a manager, and when she came back she said the manager wouldnt do it. After waiting for nearly an hour to get our check or see some sign of life after our meal was done, my friend went to look for a manager, and was told the manager wasnt there that night. He called out our server on that - that she had basically lied about talking to a manager about ANYthing - and she gave 10% off our meal. Terrible experience all around. Well, except for the eggs. :-)

Came in on a Friday morning for breakfast, seated immediately and got a cup of coffee pretty quick. 2 or 3 different waitresses asked to take my order, I kept asking for a couple minutes, kind of odd but ok, just felt a little rushed. I ordered deluxe French toast and a side of grits. Took about 10-15 minutes for food, but I sat there with an empty cup of coffee for about 10 minutes, nobody asked or checked on me. The French toast was great and the sausage was delicious. The bacon was real rubbery, was difficult to take a bite out of it. The ham was a joke, it was a super thin slice of sandwich meat fried in a pan, thinnest slice of ham I have ever been served in a restaurant. The grits were not grits, flavorless and strangest textured grits Ive ever had, they were ok, just not grits, go to Waffle House if you want grits. For breakfast Ill stick to Waffle House, Cracker Barrel or IHOP. It was ok, but there is better out there.

Quite possibly one of the worst dining experiences Ive ever had. Ordered a Patty Melt and the meat was practically raw. Waited 10 minutes before our waitress finally came back to my table. Explained that I wanted the patty melt cooked and she sneered and took it back to the kitchen. Came back 10 minutes later with the same patty melt but this time the meat was so cooked it resembled shoe-leather. I couldnt even take a bite. Asked for the manager and he came over and said I was being difficult?! What?! Asked for the bill and he said he would give me a 10% off coupon for the "next" visit. I got up, left exact change, a 1 cent tip and told him to keep his coupon. If you find yourself on Pleasant Hill Rd. and in need of a bite to eat...you might be better off having dinner at QT just down the street. This place is HORRIBLE!

we called it the G spot. i have eaten hundreds of meals here from breakfast to dinner, the place looks like hell from the outside but the food is some of the best in the world! fresh, clean, perfect. great staff. they have a desert selection to rival anyones the menu selection is off the charts and it is all the best of its type. i can have steak eggs and home fries in the morning and a gyro with fries for dinner. i am so happy the Georgia Diner is still in business. the prices are high because good fresh food is not cheap. this aint waffle house. but i think it is cheaper that most places

We came In for breakfast today. It was not busy at all. The menu has a lot of variety. Our waitress was very dry and not helpful at all. I asked if I could have eggs with the biscuit and gravy and she said no very quick. Our order came and my biscuit and sausage gravy was SUPER BLAND! My biscuits tasted like they were from a can. My husband had the Thrilling Three and his bacon was undercooked and sausage tasted bad. Not to mention the pancakes Tasted like they were frozen and heated in the microwave. The eggs were bland. Beyond disappointing and waste of money. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
