I SAVED MY FAMILYS LIFE FROM FOOD POISONNING OR SALMANELA..... On Tuesday night we have often gone out to a quick dinner at various Diners and Fast Cuisine in Johns Creek. We live here in Johns Creek. Tonight was no exception. We arrived at the Waffle House at 7pm and we were greeted by a waitress behind the counter with greesy red hair, a nasty NOSE RING in her nose, 30-40 home made bracelets wrapped around her wrists,, lots or rings on her fingers, numerous earrings and I immediately hoped she was not going to be the one to prepare my familys dinner. We orderred our food which included a dinner salad. She brought our drinks and then gave our order to the Cook. During the cooks preparation, he broke multiple dishes on the counter and glass went everywhere including on a Customers table, the counters and it even landed on the Grill. You would have thought that he would have removed the food off the grill, the Customers table and counter and start all over. But he made a joke that the customer should let him know if she tasted anything crunchy. I was unamused and so was the only other customer. The waitress started preparing our salad. She started cutting the carots on a Counter that she never prepared. She never washed her hands after clearing tables and sweeping the floor and she cut our carrots directly on the stainless steel counter that I could clearly see FILTH and CRUMBS from previous demonstrations of complete utter disregard for our health. I complainned immediately and her response was.... Do you want me to prepare another one? I said ABSOLUTELY NOT, and got up hungry and left without eating!

The two stars is due entirely to the fact that my wife and I have been dining here since we moved to Johns Creek four years ago. My experience this morning however, can be summed up in one word; LAZY. Wife was craving a waffle this morning, so I called them up at 7:30. No answer. I work retail food as well, so I just chalked it up to them being exceptionally busy. Waited a couple of minutes, called again . . . no answer. I thought maybe the number was somehow wrong, even though it directed me to a WH voicemail. The place is only a mile or so from my house, so I put on some clothes and figured Id call them when I was walking out the door. And wouldnt you know it? Five minutes later, no answer. I stopped by and got some gas from the gas station and after pumping, called again . . . same thing, five ringtones and voicemail. Im pretty irritated by now, so when I pulled into their parking lot, I figured itd be chock full of cars. Instead, it was 1/3 of the way full and the actual restaurant was the same. I looked at the door, saw that the number Id been calling was correct, laughed and turned back to my car. Mind you that the store was fully staffed and three of the waitresses were standing behind the register, talking to one another with the PHONE RIGHT NEXT TO THEM. Its a shame considering my wife and I had even developed a rapport with some of the employees. I dont tolerate laziness though, theyve lost a customer. I should also mention that for craps and giggles, I tried calling them ten minutes after I left. This time, it rang once and someone cut the call off.

Working in the food industry for over 8 years, means, I "see" things. Most of the time, I try and chalk it up to the fact that that not so sanitary item or action has probably happened to me and others multiple times in one day, Im not going to die from it. But, when I see something that is hazardous to your health, Im one who can not sit quiet. My fiancé and I were about to eat our meal here the other night, but after a series of events, we ended up leaving with no appetite left. • First thing we saw was a raw sausage patti under the fridge. (Not a huge deal, day shift must of dropped it and forgot to grab it) • My fiancé then went to the bathroom and saw the health score of an 87. (Not the end of the world, I never went over to see what was non compliant, but, I kind of wished I did now.) I know most of the health inspections code. Some of the items are like not having a thermometer in fridges and freezers, not having all cleaning products properly labeled, etc. So, whos to say the 87 was for a "major" item. The tipping point (after a few other issues, I havent mentioned) was I had ordered an oj, and it tasted a little off. They might have just washed the oj container or my cup recently, but it tasted like cleaning products. So I kindly asked for a Pibb instead. The server took my glass, went to the fountain and dumped the oj out, rinsed the cup with water from the fountain machine then put my cup (which I had been drinking from the glass rim, not a straw the entire time) with his bare hands, into the ice bin, scooped up more ice and topped it with Pibb.

Waffle House. Its that one friend you dont want to associate with, but end up spending the night with. Anthony Bourdain praises the establishment; I guess I do too, somewhat. This time it was after watching Star Wars, but Ive been to this place a couple times already. It started off a normal visit, seated quickly and the waiter quickly came to assist us. We ordered, it was getting late and thought a little about eating healthy, so I got the fiesta omelet w/ egg whites. Then the wait began. It was around 11pm, and we waited a solid 30 min before getting our order through. The group that ordered before even left before the food even arrived. Like yeah, I guess that Waffle House is popular at night for the munchies, but I shouldnt be waiting 30-40 minutes for a plate of fast food. The food arrived, and I wasnt impressed. Like were talking Waffle House quality, I was still unimpressed. It didnt even look like an omelet. It looked more like a fried egg, some parts were cooked more than other sections. The filling was cooked well and the American cheese was melty, the ham mushrooms and onions were all cooked evenly and caramelized. Also, the omelet was small. I was paying $6 for this small omelet, when I could be getting a large everything hash browns for around $5. Ive visited this place a lot of times, but this visit was disappointing. I ordered an overpriced omelet, something I dont normally get here (only get hashbrowns and the $1 burger). In the past, the wait was also an issue, so I really hope this branch could learn to speed up the orders soon.

Ok I get it , Waffle House has an amazing BRAND, but this Waffle House in particular has given me a bad opinion of Waffle House . I understand no one is perfect , but one thing that upset me in a major way , was this morning , my wife called in our order 2 Allstars scrambled eggs (dry) bacon and hash browns , she picks up our food , get home one order was perfect , he second had cheese onions and what appeared to be mushrooms all of which we do not eat. So she calls back to get the one plate fixed , they say it’ll be ready by the time she got there , it was ready , but when she got home we noticed they still put cheese in the eggs , at this point my wife was fed up , all we wanted was to eat some breakfast. So I call the store , and got no answer , so I drove up there again , asked to speak to a manager and explained the situation , he did apologize and attempted to make it right , with this being our 3rd trip in 20mins , I no longer wanted a Waffle I just wanted my all star . So they make the food , bag it and I’m on my way home , well I get there and there’s no bacon . Seriously ? Are our listening skills that bad? So at this point I just have to boycott this Waffle House . These are the simplest meals to make and due to someone’s incompetence this turned into a very frustrating 3 trip unsatisfactory meal. I just don’t understand . Please get it together this is absolutely ridiculous.
