If you are looking for a breakfast biscuit that hits the SPOT, look no further. Im not usually on this side of town, and when I am I usually come in from the North so I typically stop at Martins (yum) on Jimmy Carter. Today I was coming due east out of Woodstock and sure didnt want to make the drive several exits south so I googled "breakfast" and this was the only non-chain restaurant listed in the area. I saw they were only open till 2p so I figured they might know what theyre doing when it comes to breakfast. I popped in for a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and WOW was I ever surprised! A hearty stack of bacon smothered in melted American with a freshly prepared scrambled egg nestled inside a warm and fluffy southern biscuit. What a treat! Everyone was friendly and the food came out fast. The decor is understated with a clean but homey "greasy spoon" kinda feel. It looks like they probably do a meat and 2 for lunch and if everything Ive watched the cook prepare is any indication Id imagine theyve got that down too. From the road the sign says simply "Family Restaurant" so be careful you dont miss it!

Weve been coming here for breakfast and early lunch on the weekends. They just redid the floors and it looks much better than the outdated carpet. Good service, good food at a very fair price. As of now they are open on Sundays for breakfast

This restaurant is great! It has a very warm and comfortable feel to it, which is so true to its name. The food is American/Southern and fairly priced,so anyone who has a love for a hot home cooked Americana meal will love this place!
