Its a hole in the wall kind of place that many locals havent even tried yet. Reasonably priced! Chips are homemade. Limited menu specializing in authentic Mexican food. Dont go looking for ground beef for your tacos or the Tex-Mex chimichanga---frowned upon!! Try the torta Mexican sandwich with adobada (marinated pork---kind of like BBQ without the sauce), Steak enchiladas or grilled tilapia with guacamole salad. My son loves the shrimp quesadilla with cheese sauce on top. Dont forget fresh made salsa and guacamole. Have to eat here AT LEAST once a week!

When you walk in to the restaurant it has a very unique charm!! Exposed rustic brick walls and weathered antique plank floors. They start off with bread and Olive oil dipping sauce which was quite tasty!!! We ordered the classic pizza with pepperoni, sausage, onion, green peppers and mushrooms. I consider myself a pizza connoisseur and this met my expectations!!! The pizza was 5 star!!! Highly recommend!!!

Delicious authentic Mexican food! I love the Jamaica (aka hibiscus tea), with a choriqueso that is made with Mexican sausage on top of their tastey cheese dip. Ill usually get the barbacoa tacos with onions and cilantro, a torta with adobada, or the nachos. It is all amazing. When I have room, Ill get an order of churros. They are covered in cinnamon and sugar and come with a caramel dipping sauce!

Best authentic Mexican food around! Guacamole & chips are always fresh and delicious! Their homemade Tamales are a must have everytime we go to La Joyas. This is me and my husbands favorite place to eat Mexican food. Not to mention the staff and service is always AWESOME!

A nice variety of items to choose from off of the menu. My choice, the steak quesadilla with onions and peppers, was absolutely delicious! I recommend giving this restaurant a try and I hope to be able to return there myself in the near future.

I eat real Mexican food all over the South and spice was surprisingly good nice service , tongue tacos tripe tacos al Pastore very good Salsas definitely worth the trip off the highway, pretty darn authentic for the demographics in the area :-)

The food is great!!! You get a good value. And during my visit a homeless man came in and told the staff he had no money and they got him something to eat immediately and without payment. Overall LOVE the place!!!

Amazing authentic Mexican food! Family owned restaurant, they let us try all of their meats (to include beef, pork, tongue and tripe) before ordering. Guacamole was fresh and delicious, everything was great.

Stopped by for lunch and enjoyed the "create your own" pasta menu. You pick the pasta, the sauce, and up to three add-ins -- all for $8.50. It was wonderful. Our server, Dawn was awesome!
