This place is simply amazing! I had the southern ham salad sandwich and it was so delicious. I also had two of the peanut butter stuffed chocolate cookies and I ate them both before I left and ordered more to take home. All of their stuff is homemade and so yummy. The only downside was a little bit of rudeness from a cashier that just came back from break and was a little flustered as she was ringing me out. Other than that, I cant wait to go back and try some of their other desserts.
Pimento cheese on croissant was delicious. Chips were just plain lays which is fine but that was pretty over priced for what it was. Boyfriend had the bbq on croissant which was decent tasting but the bbq was dry. The tomato soup was good, not outstanding. Had a cannoli which was honestly just awful and tasted old. I also tried the m&ms cookie which was underwhelming to say the least. Grainy texture and not very flavorful.

Quaint cafe in downtown Dahlonega. The coffee was hot and my bacon, egg, and cheese croissant was tasty and not greasy! The food is simple but well executed and the waitstaff are friendly and attentive. Prices are very fair. I want to return for lunch and a tasting of the sweets! There are too many tables and not enough elbow room, but I am glad we were able to walk right in and sit even with a party of 5.
Superb food, darling café, excellent prices! The cranberry scones melt in your mouth. Yummy homemade quiche. Try the red velvet white chocolate chip cookie-sandwich. Great breakfast, sausage and gravy and yummy breads/sandwiches. Large selection of exotic teas and coffees. Quaint, sweet ambiance and fantastic service.
Really slow service. Sat outside, had to finally go inside to get a menu ourselves. Took a long time for the food to come out. Our bill was put on table before food was served. I was very surprised my soup was still hot and it was very good. Daughter said her food was good too.
Went to this cafe with a friend and had flavorless coffee and served store bought bagels and old apples and moldy oranges. We our coffee in to-go cups while other customers got their coffee in cute little mugs. Would not suggest for a nice breakfast.
I love this place. Their vanilla chais are good. Excellent cookies and moist cakes. Their soups and bread bowls are so good! ANY soup is amazing. Salads taste fresh. Service and owner are always so friendly!
Super nice staff and the food was good for a little cafe. Brunswick stew and tomato bisque were great and the pulled pork was tasty. Chips were classic lays. For the price, worth it.
Picnic Cafe is my favorite place to get a quick snack and have a nice conversation over tea and cookies. I highly recommend their sweet tea with peach flavoring, it is to die for.
Very cute little place to sit down and eat right on the square. Good lunch food, sandwiches, soups, salads and more. Great place for a girls day on the square to eat and relax!!
Maddie Minor literally makes this place, give her the manager job for crying out loud!! couldnt have asked for better service and such an awesome person taking care of us!! ◡̈
Pimento cheese is great. Beer cheese soup is even better! They make a cinnamon coffee that is the best! Despite the name, I like their food better than their dessert.
My father and I eat here about once every two weeks. Love the white bean chili soup and pimento BLT. Cookies are fresh and staff is very friendly.
Great desserts and service.....And a good breakfast menu. . . about the only reason id go here, as the lunch/dinner menu is severly lacking.
Always excellent food and very friendly service. We stopped here every time we are in town. By the way, the pimento cheese is to die for!
Great desserts, biscuits, and shakes. I only wish they offered espresso drinks, but the coffee and teas they serve are still mighty fine.

Yummy soups and sandwiches. A little pricey. Baked goods and cakes are delicious. An oasis of well crafted some fare. A little pricey.
Awesome service and great food. Georgia peach chicken salad sandwich is great. Deserts are incredible. Softest cookies anywhere.
Had breakfast with a friend and I got a moldy orange and bad apples. They serve store bought foods. Poor service too
Great to have a sweet place open early with egg choice and muffin choices. Hearty morning muffin was delicious.
Awesome ham salad, chicken salad and tuna salad sandwiches. Large portions for a great price!
It is a great lunch spot, lots of delicious food for the price and lemon bars are good also!
Nothing fancy, but great food. Super nice staff. Love the sidewalk bistro type atmosphere.
The food was delicious, the service was great, and the dessert was wonderful!
15 layer chocolate fudge cake. Yes, 15 layers of cake and fudge frosting.
