The food was and has always been absolutely delicious, however, very poor customer service. After patrocinating the same restaurant for over 7 years and spending a very nice amount with them on my last visit, I was rudely denied a cup to pour the ginger beer purchased from them! Mins later the cashier told me she would have to charge me a $1.50 if I wanted just a cup, this same visit, my son asked for a refill in his large drink and a different cashier reply " NO REFILLS" not we dont offer refills, refills are not an option nor, sorry no refills. No rude unprofessional NO REFILL, loud and all. Mind you this wasnt the 1st nor the 2nd time I had received poor customer service more like the 5th but I know people can have bad days or what not so I usually give multiple chances for people to offer great customer service, especially if I like the food / product

The extra star is for their good and friendly service. I always seen the place when going to the post office or traveling down Scenic highway but it wasnt until I visited my sister in New York that I discovered it was a Caribbean eatery. The food at the one in Rosedale Queens was decent. I usually and faithfully go to Tastees since I moved to Snellville but one Friday in passing i decided to try this one. The food is no where near authenticity even for American Standards. I hate to be this person but food was a waste $30. I tried and never again

The beef/chicken patties are great, but the guy/manager was telling off one of the employees right in front of the customers in line, simply because we ordered a dozen patties, and we didnt call before to place the order before picking it up. I personally dont understand why he had to try and humiliate her like that, but if you want to have enough patties to go around, make a disclaimer to customers waaay ahead of time that 8+ patties need to ordered via phone prior to being picked up.. you cant just be assuming policies like a dictatorship

Good Jerk chicken - love the Ox Tails. One area of improvement is portion size. Just not enough meat. Rice portion overkill to make up for not enough meat. Running a business on rice is my observation..for the cost, both the small and large portions of meat leave you feeling ripped off and still hungry. Also this establishment should better prepare w/enough Jerk chicken for the entire day. Workers count/find the smallest pieces when preparing orders.

My beef patties are always good here, but there is an older gentle that works there that really needs to work on his customer service skills my first visit I thought hey everybody has a bad day second yesterday I my food I asked for curry chicken plate small add jerk sauce he said we dont do that if Im paying my money I dont see the problem. I wont be there are other locations with better food and service.

Called the place and rode across town to get there and they had no food. Never told us. Offered a simple "sorry" and then had the staff yell and scream at us in front of our child. Actually felt pretty threatened. Never going back.

They should always have 2 people at the counter so the wait is not long. Also it seems they are always running out of certain things at 3 pm that shouldnt be the case.
