could want! They have an everyday menu of burgers, fried chicken, steaks, seafood, salads, etc. & they also have another part of the menu (meats & vegetables, "meat & 3 veg" type) that is different every day. We really enjoy dining in Fenders. The people here are great, so friendly & helpful, they know the meaning of genuine & true southern hospitality! Its set up so cute w/ an old juke box in the front & other types of furnishings & antiques that make you feel like youre transported back in time to a diner from the 50s or 60s. Its honestly one of the best places in Habersham to eat. The fried green tomatoes deserve special mentioning! Theyre listed under the appetizers & you can order them any day that theyre open. You will never leave Fenders hungry because they always give you plenty of good food! Its also too tempting to get either a milkshake, sundae or strawberry shortcake for dessert before you go! & theyve got a lot more to offer to satisfy your sweet tooth! Weve been eating there for years & weve never had any sort of bad experience with the place! We absolutely love it & reccommend Fenders 100% to anybody that enjoys fine down home southern food & hospitality! The prices are very reasonable. Especially compared to the surrounding restaurants, they give you a lot more food (not to mention BETTER quality) for a much cheaper price. Theyre even cheaper than several of the fast food joints in this area! Even if you are not from here, they will make you feel right at home & youll enjoy the food. I promise youll enjoy the entire experience! It would definetly be worth your trip!

Looking for a last minute diner and found Fenders. So glad I had the opportunity to eat here. The atmosphere is classic and the food is in large portions. My wife ordered all sides (there are no vegetarian meal options) that were fresh and easy. I had the "All American" ($10). The two plates that came to the table, just for my meal, looked amazing...Two of the fluffiest pancakes, locally made and seasoned sausage, two perfectly over-medium eggs (cooked to order), a bowl of stone ground grits, two slices of bacon that could have been a little thicker but were complementary to the rest of the meal, and a cup of black, aromatic coffee. 9/10 would return. Hopefully the menu will have better veggie options next time.

The food is great, but Im not going to specify the quality of the food in this review. Im going to brag about how CLEAN this restaurant is. First, Im going to admit saying that Im the one who cleans the carpet VERY frequently. Thats the first reason. I see both the dining room and the kitchen when I go to clean their carpet, and the kitchen is SUPER clean. And another reason why Im so impressed with the cleanliness is how they clean the tables in between customers. The waiters use windex and a fresh paper towel to clean the tables. When you start with a CLEAN restaurant, then you KNOW that the food is good quality and good to eat.

The food is great. Never tasted anything like it.. on the other side, you could use different staffing. There was one girl, I didnt get her name because she didnt have a name tag on.. but I was with my "black" friend as you would call it & we got HORRIBLE service. We got our food, then our ticket. Not once did she give us a refill, ask if we needed anything (in that case I did want some ranch) but we had no one come to help us. May I add that she was checking on the table DIRECTLY behind us... I dont necessarily think this business is racist, but that girl needs some tips on customer service.

This is my 2nd trip to Fenders in the last 24 hours!!! Due to the hurricane in Savannah, my family and I drove all the way to the mountains only to find my new love. Fenders is AMAZING!!! The atmosphere is my kinda style and the food is handmade by grandma hands. Im already thinking of my next vacation just to come hear. But next time Ill be wearing my white v neck t shirt, my leather jacket and black Jeans with the hair slick back but most importantly an appetite hungry for more!!!

Thus is a nice Diner / Restaurant. The food is good home cooking kinda comfort food. They have a daily special which varies slightly. They have a fish fry, a meatloaf, and other things. The burgers are very good, hand preped with plenty of fixings. Fries are alright but they are shoestring fries, not my favorite. If your interested in this type of food this is an excellent type. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. They do specialty cokes, vans, cherry

Awesome!! Food and service. We had the squash casserole, green beans and Chicken livers and it was all really good. Weve eaten here many times and I think weve tried most everything on the menu between us. Everything is Really good! I just found out they are now open for breakfast, we can hardly wait until we can get back to try that. We drive about 1 1/2 hours to eat here.

Even though I live over 100 miles away, Fenders Diner is one of my favorite spots to ride to on a motorcycle. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed, the food is reasonably priced and good tasting, and the staff is always courteous and pleasant. What more can you ask for?

Hospital food!!!!!! When I was ask about my meal I told him it was okay he asked me what was wrong I told him the food had no seasoning. I also ask does your cook taste the food. He said yes, our food tastes okay the way it is. You should have liked it.

Dont miss our local favorite. Great atmosphere, food and service all in a unique 50s style diner. Its meat and 3 thru the week or order from the menu! We sometimes enjoy a burger, fries and a milkshake! Tell Bradley and Brandon that Duane sent you!

At Fenders, you can expect good food with a unique, retro atmosphere. The staff are almost always very friendly, and the menu has something for everyone. Wait times can get a tad long during busy times, but no more so than other sit down restaurants.

Food was okay. The slaw had too much liquid and made my burger really soggy and unpleasant to eat, but the veggie burger itself was pretty good. The fries were nothing special. And the interior was really cute. I love old fashioned places like this.

Classic 1950s diner with metal tiled ceilings and pedal cars for decor. Great classic menu with some of the best fried chicken, mashed potatoes and fried okra around (the even havelive and onions). Portions could be bigger, but satisfactory.

Visit Fenders about twice a month for lunch. They have daily lunch specials and I have not had a bad meal yet. I really like their hamsteak, Rueben sandwich and their bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. Great place with 50s decor.

Wonderful 1950s decor makes you feel like you were just transported back in time. The fried mushrooms were fresh hand breaded! And the service from our waiter Gordon was top notch! Love this place and will definitely be back!!!
