Lots of potential here, but missed the mark. Good menu choices, atmosphere, service and location. However, long term success is in the details. Small Portion sizes of protein for premium pricing. Example - 7.00 add on for salmon on kale Salad was about the size of a small kids burger patty. Ive had a similar salad at Salt Factory, (a proven successful like concept to Snug) and the salmon portion wows you every time and is a solid 6 or more ounces. The rest of the simple ingredients on this salad were not costly, and included kale, crasins, and plain pacans only. Leaving plenty of room to provide a good offering of quality portion protein. Kale edges were yellowing and texture seemed old, pieces were too large to ear without cutting into 4 or 4 bites a piece. Husband had shrimp Taco included 3 half bite shrimp, mostly slaw. Extensive Taco menu only offered flour Tortillas. Unchanged for side of spaghetti squash that was just ok Child plate was excellent with solid portion of steak. Ironically similar or larger portion to my salmon for 6.00 including side and drink. Provided crayons in pouch for kiddo which was nice. We enjoy eating out, cooking well at home and value a quality meal. This just missed the mark on quality for the 38.00 tab without bar drinks, at lunch for 2 adults and a toddler.

Just visited and had to leave since the food was cold and uncooked. Service was extremely slow since waitresses were busy talking. It was very slow - there were many 5 tables tonight. We ordered the pretzel appetizer. The pretzels were cold but good. We waited patiently for our food. I ordered the veggie pizza. Took one bite and something tasted off. Peeled the toppings off and realized the dough WAS NOT EVEN COOKED in the middle. The 3 other orders were hamburgers. All burgers were cold. The fries were also cold. At that point we wanted to leave. We had to wait for the manager to comp our meal. Overall disappointing experience. Will never be back and do not recommend.

Literally no one but our group in there. No high chairs so my one year old was everywhere. My steak tasted like plastic but everyone elses food was phenominal. I think my steak had a spice or seasoning that I just didnt like. The drinks were great. We had the pretzels and pimento cheese, and when I say they were "amazing" it does not convey how truly amazing they were. Get them. Im serious. Theyll blow your mind. It is somewhat expensive but not crazy. Its worth it. Also great service and the environment was cool.

Hum has potential. Took 15min to get drinks and there were only 4 others besides us. They did not have half the drinks we ordered from drink menu, margaritas lacked triple sec, appetizers were good but over salted in some places and lacking salt in others, entrees failed to deliver, no salt on fish-in-chips and chicken fingers, 2 trout orders came out and looked totally different. Elementary mistakes but menu is good just needs some managment on cook line. Wait staff did good to overcome shortfalls.

Small pub restaurant. On the day we visited it was slow, only 2-4 other patrons in the restaurant. We chose to sit at the bar and watch college basketball on the TVs over the bar. It is a Steelers bar if you catch them on Sundays during NFL season. The bartender was very nice and easy to carry a conversation with. The other staff was also very nice and the bbq burger I chose to eat was very good. Well definitely be back next time were in that area of Canton.

The reasons I gave it to stars as weve been there three times or 4 but 90% of the time theyve forgotten our appetizer the meals have taken a really long time to come out which when you forget the appetizer gets very frustrating and if you switch something on the menu there is an upcharge but nobody tells you because thats happened twice to me period when you get the food its good but you have to have a lot of patience and they are pricey

Great atmosphere, good customer service, nice place - 1st time to visit the local establishment - menu was enticing - ordered wings during the 4th of July parade and was very disappointed...undercooked...too , too soft for wings : ( May consider stopping in one day to try a different items...who know...want get wings again!

Pleasantly surprised at the food quality. Staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Its nice to have another dining option in Canton. On the down side, it can be quite loud if there is a live band. The upstairs offers a retreat for those who want a more cozier environment.

Cool place in downtown Canton. Wait staff is excellent. I had the lunch special tuna melt, which came with great seasoned fries. Well done. Space has a historic feel to it, with comfy booths and tables in front of a big picture window, a nice bar in back with TVs.

This place used to be great, good beer and good food. I think they have a new manager whos changing everything to the worst. It was a place to drink different beers, now they offer just a few and just simply common beer. The only good thing is Nick the bartender.

The main street burger is DELICIOUS and I dont throw that word around lightly. If you are out on a Friday or Saturday evening you should check out the live music upstairs while you enjoy your food. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

I would have given 5 stars but they removed the smokey bird from the menu! That thing was the bomb. The place is awesome. Beer selection is great. Staff is friendly and quick. I just want that pizza back!

Ate at the Snug last night and had the Miso Salmon and a Dry County IPA and both were excellent. Service was also extremely good. Great varied menu also. I can recommend the Snug without hesitation!

Great little spot in downtown Canton. Pizza was awesome. Were so glad that theres another food choice close to home and we dont have to drive to downtown Woodstock anymore. Well be back many, many times.

We love the food here. The beer menu is solid with great craft selections. Kids menu is always great too. Friendly staff and great interior. Live music on the weekends too!

Good food. Good service. But... Prices arent listed on the draft beer menu. They range from $3 to $6. You may have an unpleasant surprise when the bill arrives!

Lovely establishment. Inspired me to hang out in downtown Canton. To get five stars from me, in 2016, have a veggie burger or portabella. Farm to table isnt enough!
