This was a short notice go to spot for dinner and beverages with a bud who is in town for business. It was recommended by a bud of ours and that recommendation was spot on. We were told get the pork chop. The place is a small, Bavarian looking home in its previous life but now a restaurant. Parking is nil in the rear but the owner made arrangements with the bank next door so parking is easy. 1st note they have outdoor seating. Their entrance is funny, like walking up to a strangers home. Upon walking in the main door, its small, tight, and a miniatured size bar off to the immediate right. The bar was packed with 7 people, that is the bars capacity, so we had to get a table. Nice selection of beers. I looked at the menu, and asked myself what pork chop? When I asked our waitress she lit up. You guys have never been here before. Ok. That did it! Its not on the menu but they tell every newbie about it. Simply put, its a single pork chop the size of my foot, cooked to a beautiful pink, mashed potatoes, and green beans. This was not only the biggest, but the most tender, tasty, and largest pork chop Ive ever had. If you love great steak cooked medium rare, you must get in your car, and go order this MUST have pork chop! I cant express it more clearly. This was it. The wholly grail of pork chops! The chop was so big I couldnt finish it so ate the rest for breakfast. WOW is an understatement. Even sliced and reheated the next day WOW! I will be back! 5-Stars!

Cant say that I would return to this place. To begin with the waiter came and took our drink order then never returned, we saw him taking orders all over the restaurant without ever returning to our table. I and my company got up to leave when the hostess and another waitstaff person (female) apologized and promised to take care of us so, against my better judgement, I stayed. The food was okay, nothing outstanding except when the check came. The person with me ordered the "special" which was to have been a seafood pasta dish. Well, there was plenty of pasta but you could count the seafood pieces on one hand and they didnt finish it because they didnt care for the seasoning. I guess I should have asked how much the dish cost but trusted that it would be comparable to the rest of the menu (about $13 - $14 for the most expensive items)...imagine my shock when the bill came with the cost of the "special" at $26.00! The food wasnt anywhere near good enough for that price tag. It did make me feel as if they didnt want me to come back and that was a cruel way of doing it.

I dont normally write a review for a restaurant I didnt actually get to eat at but this restaurant embarrassed me so. I was with a conference at the Georgia international conference center. Some of us were able to leave for dinner, others were not. I went here because of the glowing reviews and told others if they get out they could join me or I was on my own. No worries. Unfortunately, the hostesses staff was extremely unfriendly and was in such a rush they did not wish to listen to me. They simply said I could not be seated if I did not have my party present. When I tried to explain, I was cut off, and again told I could not be seated without my party. I said I just want a booth. But again I refused without my party. I was so upset with the way I was talked to, I left. I did speak with management about what happen. They did apologize but again acted like they did not have time to deal with me. And frankly the manager I spoke with was just as unfriendly as the hostess. Maybe their food is great but customer service needs work.

We ordered the wings for an appetizer and they came just 30 seconds before our entrees came. They were good, but the house made blue cheese tasted more like ranch dressing. I ordered the salmon special. It was made from frozen fish. This surprised me because the waiters had just gotten done explaining how they only order their meats from specific vendors to ensure quality. I suppose that only applies to pork and beef. My salmon was hardly seasoned, it came with vegetable couscous, which was also bland. There was some type of butter sauce thrown on a corner of the plate, but surprise there was hardly any seasonings in that as well. The steak my fiance ordered was good, but he said the sides were also a bit bland. For the prices we paid it was disapointing.

Picked a friend up at the airport, and her plane was delayed, so we were both hungry. 8 minutes from baggage claim to the Manchester Arms. The atmosphere is cozy, there was good vibe upon arrival. SO, I try to eat healthy, and I usually skip wings and such, but the smoked wings here WERE DELICIOUS! Not those slathered fried things served with stomach lining destructive sauce, these were awesome. I had the salmon over orzo and I have to admit, the dish exceeded my expectation of what "Pub food" is supposed to be like. I look forward to returning to try their signature pork chop, Ill just have to do some planning to both work that meal in AND schedule the exercise to work it off... Cheers, Guys!

Get you some of that! This little pub at the intersection of Lee and Virginia is quite literally the best smoked wings and pork I have ever had. Charlie at the bar was fantastic as were all of the service staff. The beer was excellent and the taps change quite often I understand--i.e. they have a wide selection that is different from week to week. The smoked pork chop was melt in your mouth good and even though they gave me a knife and fork you could have eaten this with a spoon it was so tender! Fantastic everything! If you are here near the Atlanta Airport stop here and enjoy! You will not be disappointed--if you are let Charlie know and he will fix it!

This is a great place for a pint and dinner if your in the area. It has good outdoor seating, bar seating, and a cozy "pub" feel on the inside. The beer selection has always been very good and the prices are reasonable. The menu features bar and pub standards but the real treat is to order their famous pork chop (they are huge) or whatever they have on special. I deducted one star for a few reasons. Its a small place which means it gets very full quickly and its so loud youll have trouble talking to people at your table. Also I think the pricing on some items can be a little high. These are small issues and this is a solid dining recommendation.

I went there because of all the glowing reviews. However, the service was a bit slow. They didnt have romaine for the caesar salad I ordered, so I accepted mixed greens. They drowned the greens in their thick dressing and smothered them with parmesan. More dressing than leaves, it seemed like. The entree, fish (tilapia) tacos, came with fried fish, which I wasnt expecting; I ordered this as the least heavy menu item, but clearly I was wrong. It came with a choice of fries and tortilla chips, and I chose the chips. They were greasy and heavy as well. This place did not meet my hopes. At least it was inexpensive.
