Awesome Atmosphere, Awesome Food, DISMAL Service.... First off, I will be back. My sincere hope is that when we took family who were in town visting on 4/26/11, that the service we experienced was quite simply a "fluke". Using the word "service" is being very kind....The building is beautiful and the food is simply incredible. It is a shame that someone spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on such a beautiful building and decor, and at least on this night, the entire experience was ruined by lack of training and improper levels of staffing. Again, I hope it was simply an off night, but it appeared that only three people total were working front of house, including the bar and patio! Seated very quickly, but waited over 10 minutes for drinks after quickly ordering them. Once drinks were delivered, we ordered food. Waited over 45 minutes for salads [seriously we spent 1 hr and 40 minutes here] and when salads were delivered we were told our food had just came up, and would be right out. This was fine, until food came out and server tried to give my wife my sandwich, and at that point I suspect she discovered we were a meal short! This even, with proper training, could have been handled much better than she did by saying that the meal was waiting on potatoes to finish and would be right out. After 10 uncomfortable minutes for the three of us with food, the server brought my wifes food, WITHOUT potatoes but steaming hot, and stated that the chef was very sorry but potatoes were still cooking... By this point, what started out as a great experience, was beyond repair.... As I stated to begin, we will go back, simply because the food was excellent. There is a saying in the restaurant world that "great service can overcome bad food, but great food cant overcome bad service" Typically I am a believer in this, but the food and atmosphere, along with the POTENTIAL for great service are certainly all found at Trinity Pub, and in this case, the food was good enoungh to at least give it another shot.

First thing you cant go off of the two ratings that are listed here! The pub is amazing!! Great food and the atmosphere is perfect! Yes they are a new establishment so the service will get better with time! I had amazing service and was well taken care of and I was in a huge group so really that shouldve made it harder on our server but she was a ten!!!! For the Guinness thats my drink of choice! A couple of the bartenders know how to pour it properly some of the others struggle but to me it goes down the same!! Really what it all comes down to is this place is PERFECT for family and friends to get together and enjoy lunch/dinner in an atmosphere thats not stuffy and you can relax and have a great time!!! Plus its absolutly beautiful!!! I cant wait for the patio and the downstairs bar to be open! This place is where its at!!!!!

I deleted my old review. After last night I will never go back. A few months ago we had a really poor experience with the wait staff and the food. We decided to give it one more try last night. We were greeted by a young man as we walked in who told us to sit anywhere and someone will be right with you. We sat right next to the fireplace inside and after 10 minutes of no one bothering to come to our table, we left. The restaurant was maybe 20% full. The young female bartender was doing nothing but chatting with some young guys at the bar. The young man was nowhere to be seen. The only other employee I saw was the busboy. I have probably been there a dozen or so times since it opened and maybe had good service once or twice that I can remember. The food had always been good so I overlooked the service issues. Until last night.

Ive drove past this place for years loving the exterior but it never seemed to be open, or seemed packed. It is a small parking lot, but there is overflow parking the next driveway down the road. It is a small place, and I could see it getting crowded and the staff getting overwhelmed. I was there near the holidays on a lunch rush, and the service was fine. The servers were friendly even though they were quite busy. The menu looks wonderful, I cant wait to try everything here. I started with the recommendation from a regular at the bar to try the Trinity Tacos (blackened salmon). The salmon was full of flavor and the salsa was made in house. It looks like most of the menu is made from scratch. Prices were quite reasonable contrary to another review, lunches were $9, and dinners were mostly in the low teens.

The New Years Eve menu was misleading about getting a free lobster tail with a steak. The steak was ok, but was no better than what I could have had elsewhere for less...and at least at other places, you get a bread basket with dinner...but not here. Instead of authentic Irish pub music, it sounded like they had the local light station playing. When we questioned the waitress about it, she said they were "trying to get away from that", meaning, get away from a more traditional Irish atmosphere and focus on being a gastropub. Gonna have to work a little harder on that last part, in my opinion. My sister said the Guiness tasted stale, also. Im sorry, but I could have had a better meal at Applebees for the same price. If youre looking for an authentic Irish feel, this just isnt the place.

From the moment we walked in we received great service. Ill be honest at first I was a little nervous because its next door to what looks like a run down abandoned trailer park, but then you pull up and see a beautiful building. We were greeted immediately, seated only a few seconds after. Our server was great, professional and friendly. I had a beer, my wife had a glass of wine. Whats cool is that I couldnt decide on a beer, and he let me sample three beers. I ordered the fish and chips and my wife ordered the shepherds pie. Im telling you, that place was great. I loved it. I live in louisville which is two and a half hours away and Ill drive that again, gladly, just to eat hear again!

Went there for lunch this past Saturday, and it was great. I had the Fish Tacos and a salad, with a ice cold beer to help beat the heat. We sat out on the patio and with the shade and their window unit A/C units on, it was very pleasant, which kept me there for 3 more hours. So what turned out to be a lunch turned into a very enjoyable day. Some of the reviews I agree with regarding the food, like the Fish n Chips - not the best. But the Flat Bread Pizzas are good as are the burgers. Overall it is a good place to go for a night out - good food, good drinks and their live bands are good as well.

Food was subpar. Ordered chicken and waffles and found the waffles to be dry and the chicken thigh was chewy, fatty, and inedible. The roasted potatoes were highly seasoned with rosemary. Also ordered the tacos which had a decent flavor but the rice that comes with it is not fresh or flavorful. The kids 5 cheese macaroni was pitiful. Even the kids didnt care for the dish and they love Mac and cheese. Service was okay but there was never a refill offered on our empty water glasses. Wish we would have eaten somewhere else on our day trip to Cincinnati.
