The Pub is wonderful, with an upscale bar and a great selection of drinks and food. Their beer is top notch, and they keep it really clean. Pros: Beer Selection and quality, Food selection and Quality, Beer Prices, Great Atmosphere, plenty of room so you dont feel cramped, live music, usually fast service, friendly staff and a beautiful bar. The staff is also knowledgeable on their selection and are helpful in making recommendations. Cons: Live music can sometimes be overwhelmingly loud. When the place gets busier, service really takes a hit and it can take a while to get an order in. While most of the food pricing is fair, some items such as (London Broil) which is an 8 ounce cut of average meat, is unrealistic in price. This is a top notch place, its easy to spend hours in this place chatting with friends and the staff, whos friendly demeanor and professionalism sets the bar high. The pros outweigh the nit picks, if your in town and just want to relax and have a beer, hit this place up.

I went there three weeks ago and forgot about it but someone invited me back and I had to decline because I had a unfortunate experience there. It went down like this... it was raining, so we went in for lunch... drink service was her is your drink, no follow up. like would you like another drink? the food came out our waitress walked by a bunch of times looking to see when we were done, then grabbed the plates and brought the check over. She then walked by 6 times, yes I counted looking for my card in the check. as soon as the check hit the table she popped in out of no where and took the check. There was no one in the restaurant. and we wanted to drink for an hour or two. but we felt rushed and shuffled out. to open the tables for no one. lame. we ususally drink at the pub for date night in rook wood and are not bothered. People want to relax and have a good time, not turn tables so you can make a profit ...

Hostess had attitude as soon as we entered, just stared at us for a minute. They were in Hall costumes so it was iffy to know who was an employee n who was not. We had to ask, do you work here? She asked us to step over to her podium before she would seat us (2 from where we stood), why, no idea. It went downhill from there. She informed our server we were trouble. Spoke to mgr after we complained to server n paid our bill. We said wed never be back. He said GOOD. Horrible place. Too many other good restaurants around to submit to that bs.

Love The Pub!!!! Shepards Pie, Fishn chips, and the Lamb burger are all fantastic choices! My only dislike about the place is the employee uniforms. For a place trying to imitate a BRITISH pub, they have their staff dress in kilts (men) and miniskirts in kilt patterns for the ladies... kilts arent a British thing, they are Scottish thing. Beyond the cultural mix-match, Im not a fan of the immodest attire, as I could never bring my child to enjoy the food. Other than that, I love the food and décor.

Love this place. The sliders are absolutely amazing both the beef or lamb sliders. Fish and Chips are also tasty and they have a great selection of beer. I do like the atmosphere but the only problem is its always really loud and because its so busy the service is sometimes lacking. Still didnt stop us from going back again and again though. Its one of the best places around without going to Newport or Cincy. Try the beer Queens Velvet, a Vanilla Porter with KY Bourbon Barrel Ale. Amazing.

Wont be back. Nothing worse than being ignored by a bartender. I eat out a lot, I like to eat at the bar (being solo - I hate to take up a table,) and I am a good tipper. Most places I go are terrific, but tonight the bartender was too interested in a couple of guys (albeit they were nice looking!) than taking care of me. It took forever to get waited on, and then she never even asked if Id like another beer (which I would have.) The food was nothing to brag about either.

The worst service I have ever received. We were rushed to order at 9:57 because their kitchen closes at ten. Im sorry but it says on the door that you are open until eleven, do they not serve food until eleven ? I have no idea..... will not be back. Btw servers you may want to shower and/ or at least brush your hair before work tomorrow! And the blonde one could use a serous facial with extractions. Hope this helps

This bartender Brice gave me terrible service. He closed the bar at 12:00 Am. And didnt serve me and my friends! I will never go to a bar again that will deny customers simply because they want to go home. This bartender was selfish and didnt care what the patrons wanted. Never go here unless you want to leave disappointed. #notMYbartender #makethepubgreatagain

Super place! I dont know where these negative reviews are coming from, but as someone who is on the road constantly I know how rare a place like this is. Quick, friendly service (at the bar), a killer selection of drafts and bottles, an interesting menu with everything made of high quality ingredients, this place is a gem. And in freakin Florence, Ky.

Probably the worst experience Ive had at a restaurant. We were one of four or five tables in the restaurant and we were there for two hours, constantly waiting for our waitress to reappear. The food was good and our waitress was a nice person but the service was absolutely terrible. We will not be going back.

We visit about once a week for Monday Trivia night. The food, craft beers and service is always excellent. Sam does a great job with trivia. If youre lucky enough to get Jesse as your waitress or Clint as your waiter, you will be very well taken care of. My favorite is bangers and mash or the pot roast.

There’s a reason I’m there just about everyday! The staff, the management, the ambiance, the food, the bourbon, the beer selection, the look of the bar, I can go on. It’s an environment I haven’t felt anywhere else. They treat me like family as I do them.

Always great food and my husband loves the cask ales. Queens velvet always a good option with the Shepards pie. Goat cheese dip is also a great starter. Typical pub atmosphere and staff always friendly and attentive.
