We were a little leery after reading the reviews but were in the mood for Mexican and didnt want to drive to town. Im glad we did because the Taco Stand tacos and Santa Fe burrito (tonights special) were very good. We especially loved the thin, crispy tortilla chips and spicy salsa served before the meal. I decided upon 2 fish, 2 pork, and 1 chorizo taco (you get a total of 5) and the pork and chorizo were delicious. The fish was only passable, though seasoned well. The charro beans were a welcome respite from the usual wallpaper paste refried beans and the rice was good as well. The hubby said his burrito had a lot of flavor and was very good. The only thing that was not very good was the service. The young man who waited on us didnt seem as if he wanted to be there and it was a struggle to get refills and a mistake from the kitchen rectified. Luckily, there were other servers, a hostess, and manager nearby and they were able to help out when we needed. Overall, a good meal, much more flavorful than your standard Mexican restaurant

My first experience here was in the middle of the day and it was rather empty. One person seemed to be working door and as waitress, bartender. However, the food came out and I was rather impressed. Salsa is fresh with right amount of ingredients. I came back on a Monday evening and it was a bit more busier with more staff on duty. Again, food was superb! Salsa will tell me a lot about a Mexican restaurant. The Texas fajitas are awesome and the homemade guacamole was on point. This will be my go to Mexican restaurant from now on!!!

Fish tacos, fried and a flour wrap, Mango margarita, chips and salsa. Tacos were great, although I would have like a sweet salsa on them. Margarita was excellent. Beans and rice were very good. The service was great, I had several members of the staff come by and ask if I needed anything. Server was friendly and engaging. Great experience!! I will definitely come back!

Great environment. Wonderful management. We had an 11 party table and a plate of tacos was forgotten and not brought out until almost all of us had finished. They were very busy so we took that into account. Karaoke was great! You guys need to bring bingo back! !
