I got food from Mandarin House II on Christmas day. I was hoping for a solid experience since theyve been in business for 27 years (since 1987). I ordered the Sesame Chicken with White Rice, 2 orders of Crab Rangoon, 2 Egg Rolls, and an order of House Fried Rice. I will break down the meal piece by piece. The Sesame Chicken tasted old as if it had been reheated from the day before. The Egg Rolls and House Fried Rice tasted old and reheated as well. The Crab Rangoon was ok at best. The only thing that actually tasted really fresh was the White Rice. I paid $30.00 for this and I wish I could get my money back. It was one of the bigger wastes of time and money (from a food standpoint) in quite some time for me. You could tell that most of the food was old and reheated, especially the Sesame Chicken. And if you are familiar with delivery style Chinese than you too are probably aware that it has a short shelf life. I was super disappointed. I hope they just "phoned it in" because it was a holiday... because if thats how the food normally is I cant see how they could stay in business. I will never order from here again. If you want really good Chinese food in the area drive farther North up the road about 2 miles to Canton House Chinese Restaurant in the Ingalls shopping center. The food is ALWAYS fresh, hot, and for a reasonable price.The only reason I didnt go there to begin with this time is because they didnt pick up the phone when I called (they were probably closed).

Just waited an hour and a half for an order after being told it would be here in 30 minutes. I called to check on it after 45 minutes and was told it would be at my home, the driver was on the way. At an hour and a half later I called to cancel the order and decided to get food elsewhere, since it was late and my children still needed dinner. The woman who answered the phone was rude, and told me I couldnt cancel because the order was already out for delivery. I explained to her she already told me that an hour ago, and she said "ok, Ill throw in something special for you". I literally had to tell her, do not come to my house! Definitely wont be ordering from here ever again. Id rather go to Canton House and just pick it up myself.

This place is not good. Overpriced for the quality. Egg drop soup was not very good. The tofu in my husbands hot and sour soup was mushy. Hard to eat the egg rolls because the unidentifiable brownish pinkish meat inside. We got a to go order and the owner/manager was not friendly on the phone or in person. Showed no signs of appreciation for our business. Smelled strange as soon as I walked Im to pick it up, maybe the carpet, lots of clutter behind the cash register and very dark. Just was not good or worth the money, and the lack of a smile or thank you didnt help matters. Its located in a rough part of town in a run down strip mall area with people milling about outside. Dont waste your money.

I just ordered online then went to pick up my order . Paid for my order came home , they got my order wrong and left off egg rolls . I was excited to find out this place reopened but after tasting the food I ordered no one here at my home can eat it. The chicken isnt done, the fried rice is starchy and the taste is so bad you cant swallow it. $ 22.00 FOR FOOD THAT IS GETTING THROWN OUT FOR THE BIRDS TO EAT . I know this place will not stay open . I am so disappointed !

We ordered our meal online with special instructions. The order was not completed as requested, but it was delivered in a timely manner. We called back and they said they would deliver the correct order. The shrimp fried rice contained only two shrimp. Now the second food batch of food is here and it is not the correct. But this batch of shrimp fried rice contains 3 shrimp and a bowl full of mushrooms.

The Mandarin House in Canton has been around as long as I can remember and has struggled thru the years. This has always been one of my favorite places to eat but not always the best choice with ownership changes. It is now under new ownership and new management and I could not be happier. The staff goes the extra mile to make you comfortable and the food is absolutely delicious.

The server, Mary, was absolutely amazing!! My fiancé and our kid went and Ive never had such service. She ended up giving our daughter $0.50 to get a toy out of the machine, free food, and free things. This place will always be my go to Chinese food. Mary, if you can see this, you made this a very memorable experience. We will come back to see you! And thank you so very much!

STAY AWAY! This place is disgusting! The owners dont care they have customers they fight openly between each other in the dining room! The food is HORRIBLE! We are not easy to please, but this place was an absolute waist of time and money... And your afraid to complain they may yell at you! Stay away! The only reason I gave it 1 star is it would not allow me to put NONE!

I love the mandarin house everyone there is always very sweet and carrying . I was a customer there for almost a yr when quit my job I start helping out . we try to meet everyone needs .if someone has a problem please feel free and let us know so we can make it better . for the one who are happy mary said to tell you all thank you we appreciate your sweet compliments.

There was little food... the fried rice wasnt fried rice at all, the sweet and sour chicken is straight out of a box, over cooked, and hard... egg drop soup was mostly oil.... Ive had better Chinese food for a lot cheaper... will absolutely never order from there again... wouldnt let my dog eat it

This has always been our favorite Chinese restaurant. The last couple of times the noodles seemed stale, the food didnt taste very good and service is extremely slow receiving food and drink refill. I give two stars because they do have wonderful portion sizes and the staff is very friendly.

It took an hour and 25 minutes for it to be delivered. The food was ice cold. The appetizer I ordered wasnt in the bag. When I called, the lady argued with me as if I were lieing. I ordered egg drop soup and received won-ton. And last but not least, very over priced for the proportions

I order one hour and twenty minutes ago . I am at the point I am about to pass out from hunger and I cant drive right now so yeah this is not cool . I am not happy with this so I will never order again from them. I also called twice and they hung up on me . Very disrespectful

I found the atmosphere, service and food to be very good. Ive had take out and dine in. Their egg rolls and moo goo gai pan are wonderful and I also love their shrimp fried rice. They dont skimp on the shrimp! Everyone is so nice and they make your visit very enjoyable.
