Wing Ranch - what is going on??? My family and I have been going to Wing Ranch since we moved to Tucker two years ago. We absolutely LOVE the food. The wings, the sauce, the fries, fried macaroni bites, you name it - its delicious. But when we first started coming in, there was an incredible man there (who I always assumed was the owner) that was extremely friendly. If we tipped, hed always give us a little extra food, he always had a smile on his face, and he was always working hard answering the phone, bringing food out to the guests, etc. But recently every time weve come in a different gentleman (who always worked in the kitchen when we first started coming to Wing Ranch) is there. This man has mentioned to us that he suffers from chronic pain, which I completely understand, but this means that hes either angry and mean from the pain hes suffering from or hes OBVIOUSLY under the influence of prescription pain killers. If hes in so much pain he cant be nice to customers or coherently run the restaurant, he probably shouldnt be running the restaurant. On top of his unfriendly attitude, the past 3 times weve come in with him managing weve tried to call our order in before we leave the house and the phone is always off the hook or broken. I want to say its just off the hook because of this mans laziness because we love the food, and we always drive over anyways to place our order in person and wait, and every single time Ive called repeatedly from the house and the car and when we arrive at Wing Ranch, the place is empty, the painkiller man is complaining and angry, and theres literally no reason why they shouldnt be answering the phone. Last night we came in and the exact same thing happened. I called from the house, I called from the car on the way over, we arrived, and the restaurant had one single couple inside eating. Now, last night painkiller man was not there, but instead, a sleeping kid behind the counter. Literally we pulled up, my family is asking "wonder why they didnt answer the phone again?" and this kid is sitting on a stool that hes pulled up behind the counter and is asleep up against the bar. I almost lost it. Im going to assume this kid is a new hire (or maybe we just came by on a night that we dont normally come in) but he had on a Georgia State hoodie and he needs to be fired immediately. We asked if the phone was working and his response was "uhhh well it goes in and out." I know for a fact that Wing Ranch is mostly call out orders. When super-nice-assumed-boss guy was working and we ate inside the phone was constantly ringing off the hook, people were always in and out picking up to-go orders - and this kid that Ive never seen before is telling me the phone is broken? I dont believe it. And if the phone is broken, I would assume the owner would get it fixed immediately considering thats where a majority of his business is coming from. I hope that this message makes it to the real owner of Wing Ranch and he sees what hands hes left his business in because honestly - Im sure were not the only family who has been turned off by the new management. If the man we met when we first started coming in is actually the owner - Im begging you, please take a good hard look at your staff. Hell, just try to call in a to-go order at your own restaurant and see what happens! I dont know if well be back anytime soon. The food is the best but the way this business is being run lately is absolutely unacceptable and I know any good owner wouldnt be happy. My family and I have worked in the food service industry for our entire lives - as cooks, waitresses, and managers, so I know this might sound like some random person complaining, but I promise that if these fools continue to manage this business they will run it straight into the ground. The difference in our experiences before and after this change in management is literally staggering. I hope you guys get it together, I really do!

I wish I could rate this place with ZERO stars. I used to love this place but I have never been treated worse at a restaurant in my life. Ive been here several times and the wings are good (not great). All of the staff here is great except for a middle aged white man (mid 40s). Ive been here a few times when he is working and he always seems to hate his job and all the people that come into the store. One Sunday night, around 7 pm, I called several times to place a pickup order. He would never pick up the phone until about the 10th time (I figured they were taking another call in order). On the 10th ring, I hear the phone pick up to "JESUS CHRIST, what do you want??!!". I asked to place a pickup order and he says, "Im way too busy to take Youre order, if you want something you can come into the store". Im sorry, if you dont want to take phone in order then dont put your number on Google and dont say you take take-out orders. There is ZERO difference between taking a phone order and an in person order. I was about to spend $100+ on a dinner party takeout order that this guy just turned down. There is another manager (an awesome African American guy in his 20-30s) that is incredible but because of the white guy (I am white so no racism in this review) I will NEVER eat here again. I hope the owner reads this and gets rid of this guy. He is SO unpleasant and terrible to deal with. It sucks because these are the best wings in Brookhaven (since there is no Cafe Hot Wing in the area there is no competition). If human decency and customer service is of value to you , DO NOT go here.

The wings here are the best, BUT, if RAY ever leaves, WR will likely shut down. Myself and a coworker had lunch at Wing Ranch yesterday (8-22) from 11:45-12:45. When we got there a group of 10-12 men were seated outside waiting on their food. We were second in line behind two gentlemen and 4 other customers had placed orders and were sitting at tables inside. Ray was in the kitchen completing orders for each of the aforementioned guests. He’d peeked out, acknowledged our presence by speaking and letting us know he would come to take our orders shortly. While we were waiting 1 or 2 other customers came in to stand in line behind us. Ray finished preparing the orders for the gentlemen which were seated outside, served them, took the two gentlemen’s orders ahead of us and then took ours. He was doing ALL of this ALONE and he was doing it while maintaining a pleasant demeanor, extreme professionalism, skill, accuracy and speed. After we received our orders and sat eating, customers continued to come in and wait. No one left, even when the line reached from the counter to the door. This was not the first time we’d been to the WR and had to wait. Nor will it be our last as long as Ray is there. I said all of this to say, Ray is the grease that cooks and the heat that keeps it hot. He ALWAYS gives superb customer service. He seems to go out of his way to make sure that each customer is pleased, that their food is cooked perfectly and the way they requested. It’s rare these days to go anywhere and be given the service he provides. Especially, when 1 person is having to do everything.
