The service was very good and friendly. We supported this eatery five times before crossing it off our list of options. We did meet Chris once and he was very friendly and upbeat. Unfortunately, we have concluded after speaking with many other folks who have eaten there that like us, no matter how many times one tells the server "Please make my wings CRISPY because we do not enjoy them when the skins are elastic-like..." they still come out rubbery! Theyre not undercooked by food safety standards BUT they are not "good eats!" A few people told us, "Its a shame that so many of us tell Chris that they dont cook the wings long enough but he still cooks them the way HE likes them." We dont know Chris like these folks do so dunno on that one. All five times we went, we politely and specifically asked for "Crispy not gummy wings please!" We did try to get them replaced twice but they refried the same ones, sauced and all! Terrible. We went again! We met some folks we liked and got together there. All our wings were "not very good." As for the disclaimer on the menu another reviewer mentioned, yes it is in poor taste indeed. For that one would-be scammer you might get, how many would-be regulars are you insulting? At a chain wing place, you dont like them OR theyre not right, they toss them and make you new ones. If a small biz owner is struggling SO badly that one has to argue to convince a server that (after one bite!) the wings are not good, then someone didnt prepare well to operate the business. As for the response that every restaurant in America charges for carrots and celery, thats not true at all! Weve live in 10 states and 17 cities. "Most" wing places include celery or carrots and bleu cheese. Some charge. The FWF did give us the impression of a cash flow issue but that still doesnt justify the nickel and diming feeling you get during a visit. We wont be back. We didnt ask for a refund once. We asked for better cooked wings. We left them there, enjoyed our fried green beans and beers, paid, and tried again. Usually three strikes youre out but but we liked the workers and the place so we tried 5. The last time our wings went back twice and the server admitted they looked awfully undercooked. then the third time they were brought to us nearly burned, shrunken down to what looked like pigeon wings, and dried out. Because we didnt enjoy HOW MUCH work and talking you have to do just to convince them you cant eat the wings, we paid and left. Nope, not going to try again and its a shame!

Update/Edit 6.22.17: So I am changing my review from a "5" to a "2" for the following reason: I always order to-go from FwF on my lunch break and when I go in to get my order I have ALWAYS sat down and ate inside of the establishment. Today when I went in to get my order with my friend we chose a table to sit at and I even asked the cashier who cashed us out if she could wipe the table off. She did so very politely which insinuated that it was perfectly fine for us to sit there. Besides we do this all the time and it never was an issue. Next thing you know a white male walks in and walks over to the counter and then a waitress walks over and tells us that because we got to go orders we had to leave. She said we can go outside but couldnt eat in the restaurant. I advised her that I always order my food to go because I am on my lunch break and that I ALWAYS eat in the restaurant and that I have never been told this before. Besides I am still a loyal customer that pays my hard earned money like everyone else. And my friend ALWAYS tips when we sit at a table because that is the type if person he is. I finally convinced her to let us sit at the bar so that we may finish our food. I asked to speak to the manager and his attitude towards my concern was HORRIBLE! Then I look over and theyve placed the lone white male in our seats that we were forced to move from! Mind you there were other tables available for him to sit at but because he wanted ours we were forced to move! That is utterly ridiculous. Long story short I never received a legitimate reason for why we were forced to move but believe me I can take a hint just fine! Because of the injustice that I have endured at this establishment today I will no longer be able to spend my hard earned coins here again. I felt as tho I was being moved to the back of the mf bus!!! The food is indeed good but that manager and the way he operates needs improvement! Smh.

You like Wings? Come here. Theyre good - just as good as the handful of other "awesome wings places" in town. I wont mention them here, because this is Florida Wing Factorys moment of glory! Five stars in class (wing-joint, "sports bar-esque"). Really, the five stars here focus on the prime deliverables - those being wings. Tallahassee has a solid cadre of Wing Joints so newcomers ought to be thick-skinned and prepared to defend their winged honor. Florida Wing Factory wont have a problem. First off, they have ample flavorful options for the wings (wet AND dry, no spice to "devils breath") and they are clearly focused on Wings. There is a challenge available (10 flats coated in "Devils Breath" in 10 minutes) that seems interesting. If the "Double Dare" is the runner-up sauce in intensity, then Id submit that this would be a very probable victory. Whats more, there are A LOT of victors on the wall of fame - over double than those on the wall of shame - so my sense is that they need to ratchet up the Scovilles involved here. But - back to the wings and the service. Our server was great! She suggested the "secret sauce" to round off my "double dare" and "Jamaican jerk" order. I highly recommend "The secret sauce". Intensely flavorful. My dad had the Blue Buffalo which was his speed. Nice, but no trace of heat. "thermally vacuous" as it were. The footprint of Angelettes is easy to see - as much as I miss Angelettes, this is certainly a worthy replacement.

I dont usually write reviews but I felt in this case I had to. We tried Florida Wing Factory tonight based on the reviews that it had gotten.... I sure wish our experience could have been as good as the reviews said it was going to be. To start with, our waitress was OK but she forgot our drink order and we were sitting less than 6 feet from the drink fountain. My wife and I ordered the Mac n Cheese bites to start with and to be honest, they were terrible. I bet they could be really good if they werent burnt but ours came out almost black, but they were served to us that way so the cook or the waitress didnt see a problem with them. The waitress just plopped them down in front of us, no plates or dipping sauce, just a big ol basket of burnt mac & cheese bites. We also ordered 10 wings each and 1 basket of fries with Cajun season. We had to wait for about 25 minutes for the wings and fries to come out and we were literally the only people in the place except for a guy at the bar and he was drinking, not eating. The wings were good and hot, definitely not the greatest weve ever had but they were OK. The fries were OK but not our thing. Overall it was just a bad experience with a wait staff and a cook who could care less, they were just ready to get out of there and go home.
