The only reason I gave them one star is because you cant score anything lower than one. Hated it is a perfect description of how I feel. First off worse attitudes Ive ever come in contact with. From the moment I walked in the door they were rude. Me and my party walked in a pretty empty room to wait 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge my presence. So after the 26 minute wait time, we are sat and begin perusing the menu. After all minds were made up of what we wanted to drink knowing that it the typical routine of every restaurant we started to converse. After some small talk I decide to try and find my entree now because it was taking awhile. I look up from my menu to see a waiter looking at my table laughing, stoping by other tables and still looking over at our table so by this time my mind was made up and I retracted my step back to the front to ask who was my waiter. They gave hand gestured to my waiter and it was the waiter looking at our table. By this time Im over it so I walked to my table kindly tell them I refuse to eat in this unprofessional establishment and we leave right as I waiter comes to the table. I kindly say "I dont beg anyone to take my money" and we leave never even got to taste the food but rule of thumb dont eat at a restaurant just because its located next to Kroger!!!!!

We needed to eat quickly last night, so my hb said lets go to Thai Diner . . . I said, oh, we have to hurry home before our son comes back from trick or treat -- let me tell you, before we got done chatting with Pam, the owner, about how our daughters are doing in their first year of college, my food was there! The curry was awesome. I wanted to take a big pot home and have it every day. Its something you dream about. Good, great, fast, friendly, and no annoying oriental music, smooth jazz at just the right level. Makes me feel like I might be slightly with it to be in such a cool place. My hb. loves the nao num tuck . . . very spicy but he loves it. Go there! real people and real good food.

Calm atmosphere and good that food. Although the service lease a little to be desired and so do the appetizers the main courses will not let you down. I ordered the Massaman Curry with only vegetables. The curry was not too sweet and it came with too little rice, cashews, fresh avocado and bamboo shoots. It was only mildly spicy so the Thai Iced Tea was not needed. The Thai tea was also good. Strong tea not overpowered by the milk. The location was ok and since the whole area is under construction so be careful pulling in. Overall a good place to eat for lunch.

Thai Diner was where a friend and I met for a first date :) We both loved the decor and event discussed how intricate the embroidered artwork is. I enjoyed Tom Kha Gai as an appetizer and has Shrimp and Broccoli for an entree. The one thing that I did have an issue with is the amount of time it took for our waitress to clear our table of our appetizer plates and utensils. Other than that....we had a good time. I will definitely dine there again soon!

The people were nice and the ambiance was beautiful but the prices were way too high for the taste of the food. The pad Thai portion was puny and not very tasty, the noodles undercooked and not very peanuty. I get Thai from my local place in TN for 8 bucks and its a pile of delicious. At Thai diner it was 11.50. plus for my soups it was all sour no sweet, very salty. Finally, you cant choose your spicyness

Typical Asian experience. Rude service Penny pinchers- will go out of the way to not fix an issue with your order. In my case - a vegetarian basil roll had shrimp (when I had clearly requested - no meat no fish). Server advised to pick the shrimp out. If thats what they think I cant imagine how grose the kitchen setup must be and how much "reuse" must be going on in the kitchen!!! Pathetic.

Ive eaten here a few times and always thought the food was pretty good, but not great. Tonight I had the Singapore Noodles. It didnt have a lot of flavor, and I asked for extra sauce. I was told it would be a $3 charge for extra sauce. So needless to say, with so many other Thai restaurants around, I wont be returning.

I stumbled upon Thai Diner just having moved into the vinings area. The food was excellent and the value made me say, "WOW!" These things coupled with the consistantly friendly service and convenient operating hours make for a superb dining experience. I highly recommend this place.

Pad Thai and Curry were excellent. Service was attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was clean, cozy and modern. Only downside was music was a bit loud, but that could have been due to where we were seated directly under speaker. Other than that, great experience and nice dinner.

Found this place by chance and have been going back ever since. Great for eating in or take out. Usually go with the curries, but the noodles are good as well. Staff is always friendly.

I really enjoyed the Panang curry, Green Curry and the Bangkok Chicken. The fried ice cream was very unique and tasty. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I love Thai Diner! They are conveniently located very close to my house, so I go there at least once a week. They have wonderful staff and a beautiful Thai ambience.
