We fell in love with this restaraunt when we first ate at the one in Destin, FL. When we saw there was one here in GA we were so happy and drove an hour from south of Atlanta just to eat here. We were so disappointed from the word go, the staff wasnt rude but they werent really friendly either when we were first greeted at the door. We waited approx 20 mins for our table which we thought was great since it was a busy time of day 11ish am on Saturday 9/5/2015, as we were about to be led to our table the young man who walked us to the table was telling the hostess "these people here, here, here, havent even gotten their food yet", so we kind of knew right then it was probably going to be a wait even once seated, however we enjoyed the environment the small almost private room we got seated in was quite cozy, and warmly decorated, our waitor was very nice as well but slow to come around. As we were seated there were 2 ladies seated across from us, visibly upset, with their plates piled up with most the food still on it, after quite some time 15+ mins they finally got their credit card back and left. We had not to bad of a wait for our food maybe 15-20 mins, which we thought was reasonable for a busy morning, we both ordered the Crab Cavalo, it was no where even close to good compared to the Broken Egg in Destin. The crab cakes were crumbled, the poached egg was a very weird texture like stiff and spongy around the edges and the yolk was still raw in both eggs, so i just scraped that to the side, the english muffin wasnt toasted or if it was it was so lightly toasted it wasnt even enough to tell, then next the worst part of all the very sad hollandaise sauce, we knew right away it wasnt made correctly just by the color which was an off white color, should be a nice yellow color, we asked for some on the side thinking maybe that would be better, once we tasted it by itself, it was obvious someone made it whom had never made it before, it deffinetly had mayo in it, with maybe some cream and lemon?, not even sure, but it was gross. Unfortunately, in the time we were sitting there, we saw what appeared to be a stressed manager and employees, maybe they were short help? maybe its a new cook? I dont know, but I do know we were so disappointed, we didnt even wait to complain, cause it took so long to get our check, wait for the waitor to come back pick it up ect, we just wanted to leave at that point. But I can say, we will NEVER go back to that location.

My Partner and I attended breakfast on a Thursday around 10am or so. At first walking in the hostess informed us she had a great booth that she just needed a minute to finish resetting and would we wait. We did wait thinking we where lucky to have gotten a great seat. The hostess walked us past two booths to seat us in the very rear of the restaurant by the restrooms and kitchen entrance. After review of the menu and submission of orders we sipped our Sparklers in hungry anticipation. I having ordered the lobster and brie omelette my mate having gotten the supreme omelette. When our food arrived we went to unroll our silverware and it literally stuck to the napkins as well as still had food on them. When we asked the passing host for more cutlery it was her recommendation that we use the to-go plastic silverware cutlery for our own "safety.... This had us looking at eachother wondering if we should even eat our food. When reaching for the ketchup bottle or for jelly the condiments where not stocked the ketchup bottle was empty as well as other items where sticky or crusted around the openings. The server made it back to the table carrying plates to ask about the satisfaction of the food. When leaving she accidentally dropped a knife. Do you know 4 different servers and manangement walked by the drop knife several times and no one stopped to pick it up. There is no teamwork servers bring their own drinks run their own food and bust their own tables. No communication between staff members. Oh yea that 15$ omelette is a whole lot of fluffed egg massive amounts of cream cheese and limited actual crab. I had no idea what BRIE was supposed to be on or in the omelette. The only reason i gave a one star is bc the the service wasnt terrible. Actual taste of food and cleanliness of establishment will NOT have us returning.

I just tried eating breakfast here with my family and it was a 45 minute wait. So we waited and had them put us into their system and they were supposed to text us when the table was ready. We never got the text...So when we went in asking where our table was they had given our table away. We talked to this black hostess with red hair and she said "wait in the front, Ill be 30 seconds." A few minutes later were still waiting and she sat a table of 4 and another table who were both black. We were standing in the front still and asked her again, so wheres our table? She then said wait, wait let me go get my manager and walked away again. Ive never experienced racism before but this was disgusting. I will never eat here again and will tell other people who are white to stay away because you will be treated like a second grade citizen.

I love this spot! Hands down my favorite breakfast place. I tried it for the first time down in Panama City Beach on vacation, loved it, and was excited to find out that they have locations here in Atlanta too! I love the variety of the menu for breakfast selections and that it isnt the same old same traditional southern breakfast. Like any restaurant, they do get busy in the mornings on weekends, so be prepared to wait. However, Ive never waited longer than 30 minutes. Its very helpful that they have the full menu offered at the bar on a first come first served basis. That way any of you impatient hungry folk can get seated sooner than your given wait time LOL. In closing, the food is great, excellent customer service and an overall pleasant dining experience ...EVERYTIME I come!

Just tried this restaurant out that was recommended. I ordered a regular ham and cheese omelette and tried the city grits, which Im from a town outside of Savannah, GA. I wanted to try something new... The city grits were delicious and seemed fun to experience, didnt need any butter or weird stuff people use...Lol.. they were on point.... However the omelette was in need of help... Single slice of plain cheese and a well I mean WELL cooked egg with little meat coronated in the dehydrated, over cooked egg!!! That seemed to be pricy for a omelette. You cant follow up awesome grits with an omelette like that... Staff was nice and friendly...

I live in Peahtree Hills and have been to Another Broken Egg a few times. I have always found them to be a bit pricey, but the food is good and its walking distance from my house so I came back. Well that ends today. I tried calling them 3 different times this morning to get a to go order, and no one answered. I understand that they are probably very busy, but its just stupid to not answer the phone and take a to go order.
