Went to Another Broken Egg Cafe Dunwoody on a rainy Sunday afternoon for brunch with 3 other ladies. After waiting 45 for a table we were seated. Our waitress was ok at first, she got our drink orders (Incorrectly) and we placed our orders. She was MIA for the most part after she brought the luke warm tea and cocoa and no water fyi. Anyway we waited and waited for our food, all the while seeing beautiful colorful plates being presented to all the tables that were seated at the same time. Naturally we were excited and eagerly anticipating our meal. When we were able to get our servers attention and ask about how much longer, she curtly informed us that it wasnt ready yet and that they dont let food stay in the window. Then she stormed off clearly irritated by our question. Well low and behold she brought our food. All the orders were wrong or had an issue. Mine was cold, another was cold as well + they forgot her grits, one plate looked like they threw it on the plate and the forth was not prepared as specified. None of our plates had the garnish and or curb appeal the other plates we saw coming and going to the other patrons. Needless to say we werent happy and the server Pam, was very unprofessional and extremely rude. The manager came over and tried to correct the issues but of course it was too late for that. They comped two of the meals, we should of all been comped on principle alone. Anyway Ill never go there again and Ill tell any body who listens not to either.

Horrible service! Our server did not want to serve our African American table. Our food sat in the window and was presented to our table cold. When the helper brought the food our server walked away while the young man had to decipher whose order was whose. Our eggs and bacon were cold. We finally asked for a manager and when the manager came out she didnt acknowledge herself as a manager and continued to assist other tables. When we presented our issues to her she took up for the racist server in question. We ordered mimosas and they brought out small juice glasses, no straws or fruit garnish. Each pitcher of mimosa was $30 by the way. The white family seated behind us also ordered mimosas and were presented with wine glasses, fruit garnishment, straws and a smile with their service. I will never spend my hard earned BLACK/African American/Negro money in an establishment that clearly only values the patronage of its white customers. We asked for our checks to be split and one checks came out for the entire table and our server (once my husbands black hands touched the reciept) did not want to touch the paper and argued that we asked for 1 check. I thought racial profiling was mere media propaganda but clearly this establishment is the hub for little white boys to treat black patrons like animals.

Brunch on Sunday is always quite the crowded affair in Metro Atlanta and the Perimeter location of Another Broken Egg Cafe is no exception. We arrived just before 1pm on a Sunday and were told that the wait would be 45 minutes. We tried calling ahead, but no reservations are allowed. First come, first served. Luckily, our 45 minutes was actually only 25 minutes. Not bad for a Sunday in Atlanta. The menu includes a wide variety of your typical breakfast cafe options (omlettes, waffles, huevos rancheros, french toast), but also has a fairly substantial selection of specialty dishes. Usually I order strawberry french toast, but I decided to be "adventurous" and ordered the the Southern Crabstack Specialty Brunch, which was absolutely delicious. The grit cake had a nice, fluffy texture and was well seasoned. The crab cake was very fresh and also well seasoned. I also tried some of my friends lobster and brie omelette and was equally scrumptious. All in all, the food was worth the wait. Inside was a little bit loud for my taste, but as the brunch crowd dispersed, things got a lot calmer. Easily one of my favorite, low-key brunch spots in Atlanta.

First time here after hearing great things about this place. There was a 40 minute wait, which was ok considering it was a Sunday. Our alert pager didnt go off to let us know our table was ready causing another couple that came after us to be seated ahead of us. After the mix up was corrected, we were finally seated. The waitress was nice and prompt, but curt. She comped our biscuit beignets being that it was our first visit. Im glad she did because they were just so so. Main dish finally arrived. I ordered the eggs benedict. They looked great until I cut into the first egg to realize it was overdone. The yolk was not runny as it should have been. The second egg was perfect. We also ordered a sweet potatoe pancake. It was pretty decent, but too pricey at $8.99 for 1 pancake. The cleaning staff clearing the tables behind us were loud and unprofessional. I really dont care for people playing around near my table while Im trying to enjoy a meal. Overall this spot was decent. I would eat here again, but not at this particular location. Hopefully the next location will be a better experience.

If you plan on going to broken egg cafe I suggest you first have your proper breakfast at home and be ready to waste your entire morning waiting for your second breakfast at the cafe. (atleast you wont be waiting with hunger). We did not get our order even after a 50 minute wait and hence happily walked out. Went to the Dunkin donuts nearby and had a great breakfast for less than half the price of Broken Egg cafe and the order was delivered in less than 2 minutes (this does matter to me when I am legitimately hungry!) Terribly understaffed, overpriced food and extremely noisy place. I would prefer spending those 50 minutes usefully at my home, making a sumptuous, healthy and cheap breakfast and relishing it peacefully in my beautiful balcony !

The food was absolutely delicious! However the wait was beyond ridiculous. My husband and I waited like almost an hour and actually left. We planned to go elsewhere. When they finally called it had been 1hour and 15 minutes since we placed our name on the list for a table. We did arrive during peak hours however the wait was ridiculous. However I am glad that we did return to the restaurant. - (we did find out after the fact that you can download the app to shorten your wait time by placing your name on the list earlier but still at least a 30min wait) The food was great. I ordered the breakfast Trio ( I chose Bananas Foster, Mixed Berries, and Peach Cobbler pancakes) and my husband ordered the crab omelette and grits. Parking is free.

If it wasnt for the food being delicious, I would give this location 1 star. EVERYTIME I visit (whether to go order or dine in) my order is always wrong. Today my order was incorrect THREE times in one visit. Nothing was done but an "Im sorry" and STILL an incorrect order. Its very annoying and frustrating that I have to wait additional minutes to get my food. Thats a big incovience! Also, it takes forever to be waited on. Being that this is a four star restaurant, I should get four star service. Surprisingly, I dont eat at places that has an inspection rating of 90 and below. Given the fact that this location has an 85B, I still gave the place the benefit of the doubt. Now, Im really not visiting this location anymore.
