Hendershots served as our venue for our Christmas party and we were very pleased! After adding a third bartender, things went extremely well. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The planning was flexible and easy. Overall a great option for hosting events! We had such a fun time. The Highballs provided entertainment and Viva! catered. All excellent choices. Hendershots has everything you could want in a local joint. Good coffee, reasonable drinks, some lite fare, and a great crew of baristas and bartenders. It certainly doesnt hurt that its located in one of the hottest spots in town, next door to Viva Argentina and Sea Bear Oyster Bar. The great patio space almost seems like overkill.

Great atmosphere. Your choice of a pretty Street front patio with umbrellas, comfy couch lounge inside, or regular tables to choose from. Got a lot of work done while enjoying a Vanilla Chai with almond milk. Nice location as well. Very pleasant staff. I would definitely go back to Hendershots next time Im in Athens.

I love Hendershots. Its a great place to snag free wifi to work in the afternoon. They have a limited menu but the burgers are outstanding and the grilled cheese is my favorite in town. For night time entertainment they probably have the best sound in town and the shows start early and end at a reasonable hour.

My favorite coffee shop in Athens. I basically called this my office for two years with the amount of work I did there. It has a real cool vibe and there are always cool music shows going on during the week. Seth has a really cool thing going and you should check this place out.

Great coffee, great music. The Angry Pirate is my go to for a nighttime drink with friends here. The environment is cozy, but can get crowded easily due to size. They have an outdoor seating area that is wonderful when the weather is right.

This place is fantastic. Great music, and they play a lot of locals. Coffee is fantastic and they take a lot of care to make your drink just right. Delicious food (again, a lot of local stuff) and awesome selection of beers.

Cool name, cool building and friendly staff. I am not a fan of Jittery Joes coffee but Hendershots manages to deliver a great espresso with it. Would love to discover some really great breakfast food here one day.

Local cafe and and bar that focuses on remaining local. They have a line up of local artists that play in house. The coffee is pretty good and the atmosphere is on point. Nice afternoon quiet place.
