***Use caution when booking private dining event***Negotiate everything prior to giving your deposit!! My husband and I chose them for a vow renewal reception. We visited the restaurant and spoke with Vincent (co-owner and chef) about the ONE change we wanted on the menu - which was to have plain chocolate mousse instead of the one they offered that had fruit. He told us that itd be no problem. We were quite excited and the coordinator, Teri (wife and co-owner) was very responsive and pleasant up until I sent her our non-refundable $250 deposit. After that, Teri failed to fully answer my questions regarding the dessert menu of which she had over a period of almost 2 months to answer. I finally called the day prior to our event once my emails started getting kicked back saying "recipients inbox FULL" only to find out that Teri never relayed the agreed dessert change to her husband, Vincent (the chef). I was also told that there would be additional charges and a change in other dessert options due to our request. This could have all been thoroughly settled over the nearly two month period between time of booking and day of event. To top it off, they both were less than pleasant to speak to over the phone - Vincent at first told me I couldnt have the dessert I requested and when I said that it was already confirmed with his wife, he reluctantly said ok. When I talked to Teri she said "he has to go to the store last minute to buy all of the ingredients" as though it was my fault. Lack of communication, sour attitudes, and overall poor business practices led us to cancel our reservation. We also requested our deposit back based on the fact that this was the owners error but havent heard back.

The Valentines Meal from a Tasty Hell ON Valentines Day we had 1:15 reservations for two. When we arrived early, only five tables were occupied and the restaurant was empty of people at 1:00 in the afternoon. All the other restaurants within three blocks were vibrant and busy in Winter Park as we walked to Chez Vincent and Hannibals, and the streets were bustling with familys and couples and children (lots of foot traffic). The waitress brought menus to our table after we were seated for 15 minutes and then disappeared for another 10 minutes. When she finally returned, she brought our water and took our order for snails (the appetizer) and two orders of their beef crepes (for our main meal) and two soft drinks. When she brought the soft drinks, I asked if she could remove the menus from the table, she rolled her eyes toward heaven and sighed. We saw her again when our snails arrived 20 minutes later and they were delicious and yummy. When we asked for refills for our soda drinks, the waitress decided to ignore our order and began setting up empty tables with glasses and silverware, and seemed to be preoccupied in lively conversion with her co-workers at the restaurant. The next time we saw her at our table was when our beef crepes arrived 30 minutes later. I will admit, without a doubt, they were worth the wait. They were also delicious and yummy. However, our waitress forgot our refills and had to hurry to get them. The only time she moved with any speed was when she brought our soda refills and the bill for our meal. We do not recommend the restaurant for its service, but if enjoy being abused then this is the place because the food is delicious and worth the wait.

Ive eaten at Chez Vincent several times over the last couple of years. Ive recommended it many times, and have taken friends, work colleagues, and family there. However, it appears that quality, service, and attention to detail have all declined significantly over that period. On my last outing we received a menu in French full of spelling mistakes, implying that the owner has lost interest in the day to day running of the restaurant (hes French). The service was OK, but the restaurant was empty. On a previous occasion when the restaurant was busy, the service was slow, inattentive (the waiter forgot to put in my dessert order, forgot my pre-dinner drink, and forgot to bring the wine). The food was simply not up to par, particularly for the price. My Pate was tasteless. Vegetables looked old, sad, and lonely. My lamb did not taste fresh and my partners scallops were overcooked. The cheese plate was skimpy compared with a previous visit. Overall, presentation was not very appealing. Sorry, but well not be going back.

Not what I had hoped for. My wife and I recently moved to the Orlando area and were looking for a special place to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary. We had dined at the Paris 66 Bistro in Pittsburgh for the past three years. And my experience at Chez Vincent was colored by the special evenings we had enjoyed at Paris 66 Bistro, Chez Vincent fell short. The food was very good, but the atmosphere was lacking. First off, Chez Vincent is LOUD. Not exactly, a great environment for a romantic night. The tables are packed too close together. My wifes chair was bumped by people trying to make their way to the bathroom about 20 times. Lastly, even though when I made the reservation, I mentioned that it was our anniversary, no one even wished us a happy anniversary. The service reminded me of the efficiency of a Paris cafe, not at all what I had hoped for in an upscale dinning experience. We didnt have the special night that I had envisioned. Chez Vincent was disappointing.

Never coming back. I had reservations here for Mothers Day at 8:30 pm. We got there around 8:45, usually restaurants have 15 minute window. However from the moment we walked in a young man approaches us with his hands up acting as if we cant be there. My mom then told him that we have an 8:30 reservation, he then asked us what time it was and we told him 8:45. He then pointed to a random table in the back corner and said to "go sit there and by the way we close in 15 minutes" . My mom the. Got upset and stated why would you accept a reservation for 8:30 if you close I. 15 minutes? He then shrugged at us and walked away. We looked at the time on the door and it stated the restaurant closed at 10 and another employee also confirmed that they closed at 10. I do believe the young man was discriminating against us and its unfortunate to see such blatant ignorance racism in 2017. Completely ruined the night.

Wow factor is the best way to start this review. My best friend and I went to dinner at Chez Vincent the other day on a recommendation of our mutual friend. We started with none other than the French onion soup and the cream of mushroom soup. Both we found out are the house specialty soups from our server. And the soup was delicious. A great start for our amazing experience. I tried the sauteed trout with almonds and my friend had the sauteed chicken stuffed with mushrooms, diced red bell peppers & Swiss cheese. Both amazing! And we were told the souffle was a must for dessert. So we waited for it and without a doubt, it was worth the wait. For the best French restaurant in Orlando, you dont have to go anywhere except Chez Vincent in Winter Park. So good. cant wait to come back and try other great dishes.

This was first time to this restaurant and when we arrived there was no sign showing where the entrance was. Then when we came inside no one helped us to our table. The waiter brought us butter but no bread, which we had to ask for. Our appetizers came before the bread. Then when our main course arrived my boyfriends food was spoiled. He has seafood crepe and the fish were spoiled and smelled horrible. We asked the waiter to take it back and he ordered something else. The waiter did not even come by to clean our tables or when we needed something the waiters were unresponsive. The chef greeted everybody in the restaurant except us and did not even apologize for the mistake and did not even take the food off the bill. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, it is quite disappointing.
