Found out about the place through Yelp. The food looked amazing so we went to try it out. We showed up at 1:40, we were having trouble finding the location. When we walk in the girl welcomed us and asked what we would like as we start to look at the menu the cook comes to the front and tells her kitchen is closed. He said it pretty loud enough for us to hear and than she turns around and tells us that we cant order any food items just a bakery item. You can tell she felt bad but we went there to try the French onion soup and a sandwich. So we left and as we left she asked if we wanted to take a munu with us. Now why would I want to take a menu after being treated like that. Last I checked if your business is open until 2pm you should serve food until 2pm. If thats the case you should update your website and have it say food only served until 1:30pm and bakery served until 2pm. We have never been treated like that. Horrible way to treat someone in your business. Had to give it a star but doesnt deserve a star. Zero star rating!!

Parlez vous HECK YES. If I didnt think Id gain 400 pounds, I would eat here everyday. Not even kidding. The ham and cheese croissant is so good that I literally cant order anything else. The béchamel on it is absolutely perfect. The pastry is warm, flaky, buttery... Its baked once the ingredients are inside so it comes out warm and gooey and just beautiful. Everything you would ever want and expect. The lady that is always behind the counter has a strong French accent and I believe shes the owner so you know this is the real deal. Ive had bites of other things friends have ordered and everything is on point.. I just have to move on with my h&c croissant addiction and hopefully Ill be able to explore the menu some more. Oh and they cater. So if you want to make your friends/family/colleagues happy Id highly recommend it.

When you walk around the corner into South Magnolia and start to approach Le Gourmet Break, you start to encounter smells so wonderful that I dont know how anyone can resist going inside. And once you get inside, its all over-- at least if you love French pastries as much as I do. The feel of the restaurant and the quality of the food are very authentic and very, very delicious. The apple turnover and mini fruit tart were especially wonderful, but everything looked good. Highly recommend a visit to Le Gourmet Break-- I plan a return trip to try their crepes!

Stopped in for a quick snack since Im visiting and it was rated well. Coffee is poor, not often I would have rather had Starbucks. Cant believe an authentic "French" place serves a Folder-like substance...Didnt even have a proper espresso machine. Choc Almond Croissant suked. It was burned on bottom and so was choc. The raspberry danish however, was redeeming and tasty. Very lively place at 120PM on a Wed. I must be the 1% that statistically gets a bad experience. Id try again to be fair.

I did the whole order via OrderUp Service (Great deal for this icky rainy day, kudos for the great service from them!) And let me tell you, the food was fantastic! The chocolate croissant was a tasty treat, and their Roast beef baguette sandwiches was super delicious! And their bread for the sandwich was so crunch and delightful, Im a little embarrassed I was eating such a loud sandwich in my quiet office. I will definitely go again, and if the weathers nice, Ill even walk there!

Great food - breakfast and lunch. Very friendly staff. Love the pastries. Favorite is ....hard to say- either the chocolate almond croissant or chocolate croissant or maybe the ...its all good. After morning workout I stop in for my protein fix -omelette with spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes. For lunch I am hooked on the steak, onion and brie sandwich or the veggie crepe. Try the chocolate and banana crepe -but you should share that because it is huge.

My 8th time here and they never disappoint. Im finally posting a review for them because they deserve it! Ordered a bacon, egg, and cheddar cheese on there croissant and its soooo delicious. The texture of there croissants are soft/flaky/crunchy. They serve you a descent amount of eggs with bacon and cheese. And to top it all off...there desserts are incredible too! Crepes are delicious! Youve got to come in and try this place.

The owner & her employees are always pleasant & friendly. The food is also really, really good my favorite being the omelet croissant. The lunch items are equally as good, try the chicken salad h the broccoli cheese soup. The owner is from France & they make everything authentic & fresh DAILY. Its priced similar to most counter serve restaurants in downtown, but this one beats them all in quality & taste by far.

Le Gourmet Break is one of the best restaurants in Orlando. I try to get something different each time I go and I am never disappointed. I recommend Le Gourmet Break to everyone. Everyone that works there is super friendly. The atmosphere is wonderful making it the perfect Downtown place to eat at. The baked goods are amazing! I get at least one every time I go.

Best French place in downtown Orlando. Im not sure that means anything since the nearest other French place is in Thornton Park. Best customer service ever and the food is delicious. The roast beef is a great option for lunch. Also highly recommend the French dip. The pastries are superb. Seating is limited at lunch rush so get there early or call ahead.

Ive eaten there and/or picked up bread and pastry, several times in the last 8 months. It has been consistent in quality with a friendly crew. I just wish it would be open evenings to late night, on the weekends, I believe it would do great business. Everyone Ive taken a baguette or pastry to, have all raved about the quality. Best of Luck, Pedro

Woke up around 7am and was looking to hit Panera or something around Lake Eola when my girl told me about this place. Well worth the change of plans. If I didnt have to run to work I wouldve gone back to grab a few pastries or croissants. On point -- Ill definitely be going back to Le Gourmet soon and likely more often. Real nice job, guys

Very cool atmosphere, wonderful service, food is delicious! This cafe is a gem! It is hard to find gems like this in Orlando, but I am so grateful Ive found this one. The food is consistently fantastic, the staff very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere perfect. This place very much reminds me of the cafes in Europe, I love it.

Loved this place! Delicious! I had the egg ham bacon croissant with a strawberry tart. Coffee was free with order of croissant. Very friendly and courteous French owner, many French patrons, French background music transported me to Paris. The bathroom was very lovely, clean with pictures of French actresses and couture fashion.

Its hard to find a place like this in Orlando, everything is mostly chain restaurants. But the food is cooked with love and presentation on everything is amazing. Every bite is amazing its always a shame when i finish my meal I wish it would never end. The Owner is on site on a daily basis and i believe her husband is the cook.
