When one first arrives at the restaurant, it will be instantly recognized as an old 80s architecture-based Wendys franchise. However, the interior is nothing like the exterior - a busy, yet warm and confortable "diner" atmosphere. The restaurant serves very good comfort food from a Greek and American menu. The food is quickly served by a very friendly staff. The prices are very reasonable - considering the generous portions. In fact, the food was satisfying and delicious enough to the point that my wife stated (after multiple visits to many other area venues also serving the same dish over the last few years) that her sheperds pie was the closest to her own homemade recipe! High praise indeed! If you go, dont expect a gourmet experience - just tasty comfort food at great comfort prices! Even though my wife and I live 25 miles away, we will be sure to avail ourselves of Egg Haven when we are in Winter Haven.

Very impressed with the entire experience of dining at Egg Haven. We went on Fathers Day, the place was packed, but we were sat quickly. We ordered and there was less than 10 minutes that went by before we were served. The food was amazing! Large portion for a great price. Being as busy as it was, the place ran like a well oiled machine. I am very critical when I go out to eat as I am a Chef and can cook anything that I can be served. Egg Haven earns its 5 star rating, too bad for the exceptional places (which there are so few) they could earn more stars.

Easy going, popular with locals, delish food. The care & service is beyond compare. Staff is so kind. Met by Judy serviced by Amelia and Colleen with many more delightful staff. Everyone is so happy to all customers, kind, giving, delightful, caring. You can not find a better place to start your day or recharge at lunch or even brunch. Found no one that had a bad word to say about Egg Haven. Will show photos on my blog. God Bless this eatery and all of its delightful staff. How wonderful. P. S. Has plenty of parking as well.

Decent place, nice staff. HOWEVER, the way the female owner just came passed the window yelling at the staff because a door was cracked open just turned me completely off! She was very rude and did it right in front of me and my husband. This may not bother some but I do not want to support a business that doesnt know how to treat its own people with respect. Im a business owner as well and Id never treat anyone this way...especially in front of customers.

I went here for the first time over the weekend. Pretty happening place for Saturday brunch but we got seated fairly quickly. I asked if my Eggs Benedict with home fries could instead come with hash browns.. no problem. Quick service, everything was great....I can tell quality ingredients because my stomach will be upset otherwise. Really happy and will come back!

By far the best breakfast in town, no competition here. They also have a great menu selection for lunch and offer excellent daily specials. Its a great place to run into everyone you know. If dinning on the weekend, be prepared to wait, Dont leave, itll be worth the wait. The servers there strive for excellence so get to know them and enjoy your meal.

I have been to many local-run breakfast cafe in many countries, this one is the astonishingly the best of all so far. They use fresh eggs, the omelet tastes so good. The service is excellent, coffee taste great, pancakes are so good. If you in Lakeland, or Lakewaled or for Lego land, and love eggs, dont miss this to visit this place.

Great place, awesome breakfast options. I had the Eggs Benedict Florentine with mushrooms and it was outstanding. Low prices and awesome service. Waitress Rachel was a gem, truly loves her job and gave some fantastic recommendations. Will definitely be back!

We were seated right away and welcomed by everyone with a smile. The food came out very quickly and was delicious! The restaurant is very clean, and we loved the all around windows for lots of natural light! We will definitely be coming back.

Decent food, happy and friendly staff. The food is decent, just dont order sunny side up eggs, they come out as a mucus/snotty texture. Prices are reasonable, seating is cramped, daily specials, hard to locate in town, great food choices.

Delicious chocolate chip pancakes and Im told the biscuits and gravy tastes like what mom use to make. Egg Haven is busy but the staff is so efficient. I drive from a neighboring city to enjoy this great restaurant.
