The name of this place has changed to buffet city. The food was DISGUSTING! The egg roles were soggy, food tasted like it had been frozen and rethawed out, the food just had and off taste, and the chicken was stringy. I will be lucky if I dont get food poisoning. When we told the waitress that the food was not good she said ok and then walked away and didnt do anything. We had to ask for another waitress to let her know the food was awful and to let someone know that we dont want to pay for what we werent happy for and only had a few bites of. The manager refused to give us any discount or make it right. TERRIBLE SERVICE and terrible food! Please dont go here!

I am very pleased with Buffet City. First the prices are very reasonable for the selection of food. Second the hot tea was very good. I am pregnant and was unable to finish half of my food. I was not charged or made to feel bad. Third the staff is very nice. I was a little put off at first because it took me 4mins to get seated with many servers watching me. However, once I was seated the servers were very attentive and nice. I would definitely recommend this place and will visit again. Im am not a fan of the pond because of personal beliefs but I will not hold that against them. The inside is very pretty and clean.

This was my first visit to Buffet City. My first thought walking in was "wow this place is big" There is plenty of choices especially if you eat seafood. The noodles and fried rice are my favorite and their recipe for those was pretty tasty. Sushi bar had a great variety, keeping it stock was the problem. The Haiwain chicken on the buffet line was cut into really thick pieces causing it to be undercooked. I decided to place an order at the hibachi station and when I received my meal it was burned. These are the reasons why I gave it a 3 star rating.

I went to this buffet restaurant on Thursday May 12th @ 1440. This is written in order for this restaurants management to make changes that will keep this restaurant open. If I were to take the holding temperatures of all hot offerings at this restaurant at least 75% of the items will fail and the food had to be thrown out due to risk of contamination. Management MUST look into this immediately. You cannot risk your patrons good health by looking over SAFE FOOD holding times GUIDELINES.

Waitress was really nice. Sake was actually served hot which was great. Sushi was a little bit limited since it was the end of the night but at least it was kept cold. Food was good not great. The meat such as coconut shrimp and bourbon chicken was a little dry from sitting out but still edible. All in all it was mediocre with average pricing just like fast food. I would go back and recommend it for the area if you are in the mood for a chinese buffet.

Food was alright but service is horrible when I went to pay the waitress told me my card was declined I went to check my bank Statement to see a 50 charge from this restaurant ! I asked to speak to a manager she very was unhelpful and tried to deny it even happening ,She finally told me that I would have to wait till tomorrow for my money back . Not a pleasant experience what so ever !

Huge selection of great food here. You will find all the choices you desire here. Several hundred items on the food bar. They are constantly refilling the food. Hot items are hot and cold items cold. Servers are always checking on you. Filling drinks and taking plates. Too many things to choose from. Dont miss the desserts. Very nice place to eat. Reasonable prices.

Very big selection and good habachi and sushi bar! I mean big selections!!! Im not from this county but came based on reviews and i was not disappointed! Last time i came to town i went to one with lesser reviews and wow that was horrible experience. I highly recommend trying this place. They were very busy during my visit (lunch hr)!

I always tell my wife Im not into Chinese food. It just has never appealed to me. This place offers so much more than just Chinese food. Last time I went, I got chicken wings, shrimp, cake, jello and just about anything you can think of. It cost about 20 dollars for the two of us to eat as much as we wanted.

Quality of the Chinese food is above average. You get a variaty of food to pick from. There are not too many buffets around Winter Haven so this is the spot. The people who serve you are polite. The dining areas are huge and nice to eat in. I would call this a family spot indeed!

Dinner is a little pricey but lunch is always good staff is excellent right on time with refilling drinks really good with the kids a few years ago i found the staff very rude to child but recently staff was ok with them live the variety at dinner time

Like I said with my post before I come to the city Buffet sometimes once to twice a week I never have no problem with a buffet everything on Buffet is worth the value the best thing I come for is a Hibachi Grill everything is made fresh to order

My family enjoys eating here periodically. We normally LOVE it but the last time we went our service was poor and the food was not fresh. This was a first time for us having a bad visit there and that is why I am giving 4 stars and not 5.

Been there twice before today, but my husband was supposed to take me somewhere else, but it closes earlier. Its nice that Buffet City closes later than most places and the sashimi is off the hook! Also they are really close to my home.

Love this place! Very good buffet, lots of choices. Hibachi is my favorite part. Good things to eat there. Sushi is especially great. It is fresh every day and not just sitting out for more than 24 hrs. Recommend to everybody!

My favorite chinese buffet. Very friendly staff. Great sushi selection. Clean tables, clean and fresh food, and a small coy fountain that kids seem to love. A few good specialty items like peanut chicken and coconut shrimp.

The food was really good. There is a Hibachi that is worth mentioning for those interested. The waitress in my case was not really great. She only worried about clearing plates but not about is we were doing well or not.

Food was old, stale, hard as rocks, the vegetables were wilted and brown. Their solution was to have food made fresh to replace the old. By the time we left, there still wasnt any fresh food. A waste of $80. Wont be back.

There were BUGS in my food...and asked them to bring out new sushi because you couldnt even bite through it and the guy brought out the same stuff on a new plate.i was sick for a week.NASTY AND DONT EAT THE MUSSELS

Love this restaurant, such a great selection of food not only that they also have American food. Clean and help is very nice to us. We have been there several times and everything is hot and very good.
