A welcoming atmosphere, ingenious idea of the paper on the tables for a clean and sanitary surface to eat upon; we live here in Vero and have tried a couple of times to eat at the Bone Fish Grill, but long wait times have deterred us in the past. Last night we called for a reservation and our table was waiting for us when we arrived. Hosts were very cordial and welcoming at the door, seating us promptly. Pricing of the restaurant is not very family friendly, party of 6 and the bill came to $150.00 with two people getting a hamburger and one fish and chips. We informed the waitress that we have never eaten at the Bone Fish Grill so you would think at a minimum of 15% gratuity, the waitress would go out of her way to make us feel welcome, first impressions are everything for a growing local business. Upon serving our meals, the waitress knocked over a drink on the table, yes accidents happen, hey I get that, apology accepted, but the drink should have been immediately replaced, but it wasn’t. To beat all, we were billed for the drink spilled and we had to kindly inform her of her error. The appetizer of Sesame Tuna was out of this world awesome, but from then on not so good. For a $12.00 overly greasy hamburger with added mushrooms for an additional 90 cents with mediocre shredded lettuce, tiny slice of tomato and onion on the side and a handful of homemade potato chips is unjustified for the cost. Shredded lettuce is not high end dining, really! Another of the meals had giant pieces of peanuts that ruined the texture and consistency of the meal, needless to say one of the parties of 6 went home hungry because she didn’t like the giant peanuts in the meal; waitress never came back to the table to ask us if the food was good or if she could get us anything else. We had to catch her on the run to bring us anything extra, literally on the run, overworked? Too many tables to serve? Management should be out on the floor managing, Gordon Ramsey here you go. Needless to say, we will not be returning to give it another go around.

This is basically a carrabas with better surroundings and more fish choices. Lounge is open and woodsy with flat screens adorning walls. Happy hour prices are good too. I had the chicken marsala and it was good, not outstanding but about like expected for an upscale casual chain joint. The steamed broccoli was off. Server said it was fresh but altho not overcooked felt old as if frozen. The asparagus replacement was good though. The tilapia was good as well for such a ubiquitous entry level fish. The jasmine rice had no flavor at all and was too dry, not good. Potatos au grautin with parmesan crust were unusual and tasty. The problem we encountered was the service was spotty. Manager was in the weeds it seemed and it was not that busy. Typical young wait staff in Vero tried but they just dont get the training they needed..unlike carrabas to a degree. For the price though this was not a bad night out amidst decent surroundings. They do need to set a minimal dress code, guys in flip flops after 5 is an invitation to have the budweiser crowd invade for happy hour drafts and this place can do better. A bit more spit and polish and this place could survive the summer hopefully.

Went in and sat at the bar with my friend and ordered drinks and dinner from a wonderful bartender, Katelyn. Id ordered the salmon and asparagus salad and the salmon had wonderful flavor on the first two bites, until I saw that it was raw all the way through inside. I showed Katelyn, she agreed and they sent it back. I waited a fair amount of time, enough to make it right surely, and it was brought out again, a little more cooked but still raw in the center, not pink, raw. The manager Chris came back out and I explained that it really should not come out twice raw and he tried to tell me that Bonefish cooks their salmon on the grill so that it is pink in the center. Salmon is pink and perfectly flaky when well prepared and I said that to him. He apologized, took it off the bill and left. This is beneath Bonefishs standards. Ive eaten at plenty of them in different areas and I also know how to prepare salmon. The restaurant had less then 10 customers inside and in my opinion the food should have been spot on. Katelyn was very professional, made perfect drinks, explained how they were made and was very attentive.

The food was absolutely discussing. The filet mignon was over cooked when we asked for a medium rare; the loster was boiled in water and tasted like an over chewed gum dunked in expired melted butter. The scallops were so cold and undercooked that they could almost get back to the ocean on there own. The front desk staff was unprofessional, rude and Inappropriate. They were absolutely rude with a party of people with kids and teens in front of us ( these kids were extremely well mannered too ) and at our table we were all in shock. Our experience last weekend was absolutely awful and well never set foot in this place ever again. Shame on you.

Horrid Horrid Horrid Bad management and invisable waiter. They do not care about the handicapped, birthdays or service. Over three hours for dinner. Finally had to repeatedly ask for dessert to hold! Did I mention after waiting for dinner almost two hours the fish was burnt? Ran out of coconut pie. Birthday observation was a scoop of whipped cream with a candle! Imagine? That was it! Embarrassed I asked for my friend. Drinks took at least twenty minutes to arrive. So disappointed in what was once one of my top choices in Vero. Did I say HORRID?

I have been to several Bonefish locations throughout the country and am totally disappointment with this location. I have never had a bad experience before. Service and food were very disappointing. Always thought Bonefish was a sure bet...until today. We called manager over regarding the unacceptable food and service and she sent the waitress (well one of 5 eventually at our table) to address the situation. The managers lack of concern is very discerning.

Very slow service as we waited nearly an hour before our order was taken and over half an hour after our plates were cleared before our desert order was taken. The food was delicious and adequate in quantity. Prices were acceptable. Staff were pleasant and very polite. Reservations are an absolute requirement. Would recommend this if you have lots of time on your hands. Room is a bit loud and lighting is too low to easily read the menu.

Hated it is an understatement. First Bonefish I have ever been to that qualifies as one of the worst dining experience I have ever had. Who knew a bonefish could fail so miserably? Manager couldnt have cared less. Shame on her. How do you screw up a Bonefish restaurant? Honey, you did it. Vero beach location. Just to make sure she gets all the credit she deserves. Probably wont be back.

Great ambiance whether u sit indoors or outside on the patio by the water. They bring you free bread and Wednesdays they have half off for their bang bang shrimp. There is happy hour on weekdays until 630 pm. The servers were nice, however they were a bit slow with the service. I had to wait quite a while for the bread and ask several different servers for it before it finally came out.
