The worst dining experience of my life!!! We waited an hour & a half for our sushi rolls. I figured it would be a little wait but sitting at the table for an hour & a half & still no food. The restaurant was not full. No excuses for the extremely long wait. I told the waitress that I wanted to pay for our drinks & edamame because we were leaving. She said that the cook told her 2 minutes a few minutes before I talked to her, we waited another 10 minutes. The table next to us that showed up 30 minutes after us was being served as we stood up to leave. I left $ for the drinks & appetizer & walked out! We were furious! They had a sax player that was so loud that we had to yell over him. Heade my warning! Terrible experience!

Liked it OK. Sat in the dining room and had 2 specialty rolls. They werent the best Ive ever had.. Id say 7 on a scale of 1 to 10. But the waitress was a bit of a turn off. She actually seemed judgmental in the fact that we.. My husband and me. .. Ordered a creme Brule martini for dessert. She gave us the hariry eyeball when we ordered it. Not my imagination, as we both said the exact same thing when she walked away. Then she mentioned how fast we drank it! Really? It had 2 straws and it was a tiny drink!! If I want my mother with me, and Im 55, Ill bring my own next time, ot better yet just sit at the sushi bar and get good sushi and drinks sans any judgmental waitress.

This is my 4th time there, while they get a plus for atmosphere and presentation, cant get passed 3 stars for quality. The key to excellent sushi is rice and theirs is a bit dry and cold. Fish is ok, a few pieces were still a bit frozen when served, tuna sashimi was not the best cut. Its not bad, but sushi fanatics will be dissapointed with quality. Tuna avocado appetizer was very good, the side souce was outstanding, souce on top was a little too spicy for my taste. Good overall, just need to improve their quality on the sushi/sashimi.

Terrible new owner! What a shame. She will single handedly ruin this joint. Micro manages her staff and sits and stares at the patrons with a scowl on her face. Like she is expecting diners to rip her off. She constantly is whispering to the wait staff and bartenders ears while pointing at diners. A couple hundred bucks per week we have spent here the past two years. Tonight she mocked my husbands laugher and rolled her eyes at us. We will NEVER be back! Rude, discourteous piece of garbage!

Haru is by far the best Sushi restaurant in the Melbourne Area. If you are looking for Fresh Sushi crafted with great recipes at a "sushi bar" then you cant beat this place. I cant speak to the quality of the regular menu that is cooked in their kitchen because we always just get the fresh made rolls, but in terms of innovative dishes and taste this place is a winner..

Had a quick lunch on Fourth of July. We both had the Bento Box, one sushi one sashimi, both had soup and salad and pieces of California roll. Included was a piece of a fried mixture of fish and vegetables that was quite good. Was just under 40$ including one soft drink and top. On top of the good food, the restaurant is very pretty inside.

My husband and I both love their sushi....Usually. The last two times weve been here we were both severed something that had gone bad. He was served the Uni. It was horrid and I was served rotten ginger. Yuck! We used to LOVE haru. Our servers are always amazing always !!! Well try one more time only bc it used to consistently be amazing.

Best ever ever ever. Started with sake sunrise that was amazing. Then tuna and avocado from the sushi menu...amazing. Then orange wasabi salmon...too good to eat...seriously i just wanted to hold it in my mouth and enjoy the flavors. The sesame tuna was amazing and every mashed potato wants to have wasabi mixed in. Amazing.

Came very excited, but the sake sunrise, my wifes raspberry drink were so watered down, and the couple we are out with had the patron drinks and they were not thrilled. Too bad right ambiance, but the drinks are not even worth five dollars less alive fifteen. So we all switched to wine and beer.

If you are in the area and would like some good sushi with some nice ambience - this is the place. Our family was in the area and wanted sushi. We found this little jem and were impressed by the staff, the food as well as the live piano music. I would suggest the Rock & Roll Sushi Roll - absolutely good!

Everything ordered exceeded expectations, my favorite was the taste and presentation of the tuna avocado salad. The wait staff was amazing as well, very knowledgable about the menu and specific ingredients. Definitely coming back! They need to come down to Fort Lauderdale!

My wife usually gets takeout from here but tonight, we sat down and enjoyed the ambiance. The menu is enormous and we had some trouble deciding on rolls. The Godfather roll was a meal in itself. Their sauces are fantastic and friendly, helpful service made it special.

Excellent sushi, great service and wonderful dining experience. But probably best of all was the incredible piano play by Matt Robertson. Our third visit in two years, and had a great experience each time. Highly recommend.

Heard many good things in the past about Haru. Decided to dine there and was incredibly disappointed. The food was bland. The service was slow and unpleasant. The new management seems uncaring and condescending.

Want to like this place so much, but I just cant bring myself to go back after having been a few times. We get fresher, larger portions at other places in town. The sushi is pretty, but small portions.

I have always loved sushi, but have been weary of sashimi. I had the best sushi here, and sashimi was out of this world...fresh grouper, cut to perfection, paper thin. Great menu, and atmosphere.

Toro Night! Yes Appetizer and the Entree, both. Great music, location, ambiance, and service. Desert was very tasty. Kudos to the Chef for presentation and an excellent appetizer.

Probably my favorite restaurant in the area. Always a tasty and worthwhile dining experience. The Haru on 192 is great too, but I prefer the atmosphere and decor at this one.

Not the best place to eat. Food is so so.. service was slow . New management is horribly bad. I cant help but wonder if employees are happy working for them?

I had a very good fish dinner. My husband liked the sushi. Martini was good also. They have a few specialty cocktails. Service was quick and friendly.
