This is easily the best Indian food Ive had since I moved out of Boston. Dont let the strip mall location fool you. The papadam is paper thin and the onion relish is vibrantly fresh with just a hint of heat. The vegetable samosas were delicious, nicely spiced and served with some of the best tamarind chutney Ive ever had - far far better than the watered down versions many area restaurants serve. The portions of both the chicken tikka masala and the aloo gobi were generous. The chicken was perfectly cooked in the tikka masala, as were the cauliflower and potatoes in the gobi. The naan was also fresh out of the oven, and thinner and lighter than Ive had elsewhere and was perfect with the entrees. Service was attentive without being intrusive and the prices were very reasonable. We will DEFINITELY be back!

New Indian Restaurant and food tastes good BUT BAD quantity judgement and food availability. Every time I ordered Biryani, I get a standard response - "Sorry, we are out of Biryani, Can we get you Fried Rice instead?" Well, if I wanted Fried Rice, why would I order Biryani in the first place? And it happened 3 times now and worse thing - always during weekend - Fri - Sun, Be it dine in or Takeaway, I always get this response during peak hours from them. Cant they estimate how much food would be needed for their weekend demand???If it is for any one off special item then I can understand, but it happens with a regular rice dish which is not acceptable. So do not go there with any expectations and appetite to eat a particular dish, just go and eat whatever is available, not what you actually wanted!!!

I tried their lunch buffet for the first time today. I was pleased with the quality of the dishes, especially the Sambar and onion pakoras. However, the atmosphere really detracted from the experience. The restaurants website gave me the impression of a nicer atmosphere. The restaurant is a large, empty space and a walk to the restrooms left me with a bad impression. Items that belong in storage such as vacuums, extra linens and plates were in plain view and even in the bathroom, the toilet brushes were on the floor. I would order take out from this restaurant, but would not stay for a meal inside.

I have eaten in many indian restaurants and this is one of the best I have tried. We booked for nine but could arrive until ten (having rung to rearrange) - it was not problem, nothing was too much trouble! The service was very friendly and efficient, easily coping with our large party of 12. Food arrived piping hot and in good time. The menu contains a good number of house specialities which are a cut above the normal menu offerings. I tried one of these and it was delicious. The restuarant was clean - could do with some redecoration but this was nothing serious.

I am very SURPRISED of negative comments. People working here are very friendly and nice. We go there twice every week. The food is okay. Prices are cheap. We have been to Saffron Restaurant but the owner there has been very rude to us not once but several times. We stopped going there only because owner was very rude. I think people from other competing restaurants are giving bad reviews here. We like Tabla Indian Restaurant and we will continue to eat there. I have no idea why people gave bad reviews here.

Excellent food, one of the best Indian food for price buffets in the area. Regular and take our service has some timeliness issues and the decor isnt the best, but its a great and accepting staff and environment for little kids who are harder to contain. Food options are from mild to spicy, so a little bit for everyone. Dont come right at open time for buffet since theyre usually just getting the food out, but about a half hour in is perfect

Wish I cold give them 0 or -ve. I am visiting from out of state and i called them to find out if they have chai , the rude guy who picked up the phone said they dont serve only chai and I told him that we will order something else as well and he just hung up! No doubt they have bad ratings! To the owner of the restaurant: Please train your staff on how to talk to customers, they need to be educated on basic courtesy!

Food is good, but he keeps charging different prices for the same item every week if you order pick up. He charges $9.99, $10.99 or $11.99 based on his mood. If we ask why are you charging different(more) price than the online menu, he says the menu is old and we forgot to update it. This has been going on for past 4-6 months. Be sure to ask the total if youre ordering the pick up

Its not much to look at, the food is amazing. dont expect your usual American style indian food. The portions are European sized which is fine. by the time you eat your appetizer, Naan bread, meal and enjoy your beverage your full. This is one of those places you could easily dismiss by looking at it.. but you would be missing some very wonderful nosh.

Food is very good. Gobi Manchurian was awesome and I liked the sauce used on it to bring the spice and sweet taste combination. Biryani was lacking its spice level though. This restaurant has lot of options for a vegetarian as opposed to other places where the options are very minimal. The service was not up to the mark.

I ordered catering from this restaurant for a special party. The food was fresh and delicious. All my guests enjoyed the food and even took some home with them. Sometimes bad food can ruin a party but their catering made my party a big success. Also the Gobi Manchurian was delicious!

Delicious food -- we were impressed by the quality given the wide variety of menu options. Great value too -- portion size was very substantial. The indo-chinese was delicious (especially the veg manchow soup), tandoori chicken was tender and juicy, and naan was fluffy and fresh.

Delicious! Excellent lunch buffet, many tasty choices and plenty if selection, all filled with flavor and perfectly spiced. Service was great too, with a friendly staff. Very reasonably priced for a buffet, and I left stuffed! Ill be back, for sure!

Ambience is not one of "Fine Dining" but food is very good and staff is courteous and pays attention. We have tried soups, Chole Bhature and Biryani and they have all been very good. Glad to have a good Indian cuisine alternative in the area

Awesome service and awesome food. The handsome boy, who seemed to be a student provided a real awesome experience as he smartly handled a large group of people. God bless him, loved the place, will recommend this place to my Indian friends.
