THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! Let me brake it down for everyone: Order more than one sushi roll: everyone gets a choice of either soup or salad. (I go with clear soup or ginger salad) My favorite rolls: Osaka ($7.00) !!!! Im an avid sushi lover and this is not only my favorite roll Sushi Cafe offers, but it is now my favorite food in the world, you know, the one you choose before you die type of thing. . . Monster roll ($9.50): My number 2 recommendation. If the Osaka roll was a 5 star, Monster would be a 4.99999 For a raw roll, I would recommend Either the Crunch roll ($6.50) or Spicy Red roll ($9.00). The portions are really filling, I could eat three all to myself but I would not be able to move after. . . I usually split 3 rolls between two people. *(I can eat a lot)* No up-charge for sauces! To end the night, order a pot of green tea for the table with honey. Youll feel completely relaxed and a sense of Zen. Its only like $3 bucks. *NOTE: All the rolls I recommended are from the Specialty Sushi menu, but all the sushi from the regular sushi menu is still really good and fairly priced.

I do not normally give 5 stars but this place is truly impressive. I have been here 4 times now and the staff is generally very polite. It is very affordable and the sushi is quality. You can get 3-4rolls for under $40 and theyre great for sharing. Its an excellent place to just order lots of different rolls and share. I have been to a couple expensive sushi places and I would much rather come here. The atmosphere is nice, the food is consistently quality, and the prices really are great. 11 out of 10

WOW!! Awesome sushi and the price was great. I ate that The Rack in Brandon and thought it was good but really pricey...but The Sushi Cafe by far exceeded the sushi there and the price was A LOT better.. I just moved here and now have found my favorite SUSHI Spot to eat...If in the area you have to try this place!!

I was in the area after a long drive from fort lauderdale and decided to drop this place. My husband and I odered the love boat. The sushi was fresh and tasty, the staff was very attentive and price was reasonable. I highly recommeded this place.....which says a lot since im an avid sushi eater

Nice food and ambience ! i have order lemonade which was not available , but they billed for it accidentally and i asked waiter for corrections ! she corrected it and thrown the bill in front of me in not decent way . of course their food may good ! but will not repeat .

Wow. I have been to many sushi spots in Tampa and this is definitely my new number 1. I had the lobster roll and monster roll. The portion was huge in comparison to other places like sushi ko or even sushi tsu. However the prices were way better. I definitely recommend!!!!

Been here twice and both times were great. Its not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for. The other reviews are spot on. The reservations were made months in advance to be safe, we were probably a bit earlier than needed.Tip: come early to find parking.

My wife and I go there pretty much every week. We enjoy the staff and the atmosphere, the food is always good and its cheaper than your typical hibachi. Quaint little restaurant, seating is limited and is high volume resturant, but it is well worth the wait.

Very very happy with our experience!! We got the monster roll which was delicious and then two hibachi dinners. The service was attentive and fast and the food very good. My husband said several times that he cant wait to return. Definitely recommend!

I dont usually leave reviews, but I thought itd be necessary considering I got some of the worst food poisoning from their tuna. They really need to get a grip on how they handle raw fish. Thanks for the worst 3 days of my life.

Ive been here several times over the years and it has always been a fantastic experience. There sushi is probably the best in the area and is very high quality. Try their Diablo roll, it is definitely my favorite!

Best sushi spot in the Wesley Chapel/New Tampa area - had Green Tea, followed by Krab Rangoon appetizer, and one Pacific Fusion roll. Great food at a reasonable price - bill was approx $16 for all items.

Great staff! They know us when we walk in or what extras to give us if we order to go. Their cold cucumber roll is amazing and so it the chicken katzu. Weve never had anything that wasnt super yum!

Sushi Cafe sells great sushi at a great price! Their lunch menus are the best and my favorite on the menu is their salmon katsu which never disappoints with some spicy mayo for $8.95. Good spot!

Family dinner with various specialty dishes that were all good, specially "Nobodys Home" and "Butterfly" sushi. The seaweed salad was very good. Prices were very fair. Will surely be back here.

The Crab Rangoon had a fishy taste, the tuna seemed old and stringy, and both rolls ordered, (Diablo, and Monster rolls) overall lacked flavor..definitely have had better sushi experiences
