I went here with 3 other people and we all purposely ordered different entrées. The ox tail was tender and flavorful with a nice kick. The breaded chicken was juicy and tender. The pork chop had a classic latino, mojo, flavoring and was delicious. The pre-buttered, pressed Cuban bread was flaky and warm. The yuca was the best I ever had. The black beans and yellow rice were amazing. The café con leche was strong and needed extra cream (Starbucks had made coffee drinking a very sweet experience). The three cream yellow cake (I forget what the real name is called) was sweet and simple (very saturated, so you have to be ok with the texture). All in all, this is a place I highly recommend. The food is amazing, the owners are humble and were concerned about satisfying the customers. The place is a little small, but thats my only negative. This place is a real gem. Ive traveled the world and Im an ex-competitive eater; I know food. This place is the bees knees! Check it out!

Place is dark and drab, BUT V Pl. smelled great so we figured we would proceed. I sat down the server was attentive and relatively quick with drinks and our order, the place wasnt too busy maybe 10 people for lunch. And once we got the food the Cuban was great put the check in with the wine sauce was mediocre it was a bit bland I needed a lot more salt plan chains or sweet and cooked well and the moro rice was ok. I wouldnt go out of my way to come eat here, but if in the neighborhood I would choose it over beefs or the pizza joints close by. The service and food is better than mi casa by a long shot. Meh, OK food and service is why it got 4 stars but food is 2.5 maybe 3stars.

Fabulous Food as well as service. Cuban people are loud, proud, and demonstrative. Charlie....really???? This is a family run business....not some prepackaged food factory. They are fun loving and friends with MOST of their customers. I go back again and again because although the food is great.....the service is personal and more than efficient. As for their daughter....she shines in so many ways and is an asset to her parents. She and they make everyone feel welcome....again and again I hear customers say its like sitting at their home in their kitchen.....Props to Little Habana Cafe!!!!!

Maybe you deserved the rudeness to the fellow below me. Ive been going there for quite some time now and never EVER had a problem or witnessed anyone else having a problem. Its a family run business. The mother and the daughter are the only ones who work the front. Everytime I go there they are always super sweet and courteous. In fact thats one of best things I like about the place is the exceptional service that is always provided without fail. So maybe the problem is you :D

The food is terrible! After waiting at least 10min to place a order, I was happy to get my food to go. The rice was undercooked. The beef was so salty & I had to throw it away! I also got a cuban sandwich which was also nasty! Very little meat and the pork tasted disgusting! Cilantro dipping sauce is like oil in a cup. I cant believe all the good reviews! Pollo tropical has better rice and beans! Brocatos is where I will continue to get my cubans from. Well worth the drive!

Went there for the first time Friday night. We were surprised at how small the place is, but that just adds to the value since it cant get too crowded. I had the Bistec de Pollo al Ajillo, Moros, Cassava with mojo, Beef empanada, Tres Leche Cake and a cafe con leche. Everything was great. The Bistec de Pollo al Ajillo had just the right amount of kick. We are definitely coming back. If you want good Cuban food in Hillsborough County, try this place.

As a Cuban American born and raised in Miami, this place has the best Cuban food in the bay area period. Way better than any tourist restaurants in Ybor or St. Pete. Worth the drive if you want the real deal. The chicharones (pork grinds) include the rich fat and the meat and seasoned perfectly. My wife had a Cuban sandwich and was so happy to have a Cuban sandwich form the Tampa area that was good. This place is it I will look no further for Cuban food.

Relocated from New York and decided to taste someone else Spanish Dish. The menu selection is decent, the place is small, friendly staff. I decided to order the red rice , beans and pork chops, very tasty but was disappointed with the portion of the rice. I mean rice is cheap they could be a little more generous especially if they want customers to return. Next time I want a taste of Spanish Food Ill cook at home.

Great Tasting Cuban Sandwiches!!!!!! I noticed this restaurant a couple weeks ago. After looking at the menu online and a few reviews, I decided to give them a try. I usually dont like to try new places when Im hungry but I had a craven for a cuban sandwich. Little Habanas did not disappoint me. It was a good size sandwich with just the right amount meat. I will definitely purchase from this restaurant again.

Wanted a good Cuban breakfast for Fathers day. Ive come here for dinner often which is usually good but overpriced. I wanted to try a breakfast. Closed on Sundays. OK, so I tried again this am. Arrived at 11:05 with my daughter and after being seated was told that breakfast stops at 11. No budge at all; not for 5 minutes and not for a repeat customer. Well, I wont be a repeat customer anymore.

To be honest, I didnt expect the food would be very good. After all, this restaurant is in a strip mall. However, I was wrong! The food was varied, beautiful, and most importantly delicious. We had an appetizer sampler, and several different entrees, all of which were very good. Even a rather fussy eater amongst us was pleased with the service and the quality of the food.

Im Colombian and my godparents were Cubans this is exactly the type of food that I grew up with I was born in 1967 I remember going to Miami in the early seventies through the early 80s and this was the food my godparents would make and the kind that you would find in the restaurants in Little Havana me and my son loved it there this is truly authentic Cuban food

Awesome is the only word to describe this little slice of heaven. Atmosphere is very tropical. Love the music. The owner and his wife are just the nicest people. Food is to die for.....the banana boat is a meal in itself. I have tried most things on the menu and none of them have been bad. We are repeat customers and love the place and people!

I am from Miami and can truly say this is real cuban food. We had a huge app, amazing palomilla steak and cafe con leche. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. It felt like a slice of Miami placed in Apollo Beach. Our server was also very nice to our dog. They have a patio for all you dog lovers. :).
