We were very disappointed in our visit. When my husband I walked in we told them a party of 2 and they informed us that they were cleaning a table and it would be just a second. This was not problem. Another couple walked in immediately after we did (party of 2) and were seated immediately while we were still waiting on a table. Not a huge deal but seemed odd. Once we were sat our server came to take our drink order, she came back fairly quickly with the drinks but did not take our food order. We had to wait awhile before we could even order our food. We waited about 30 min for our food to finally arrive. Other tables that were sat at the same time and after we were had already gotten their food. When our food arrived, everything was cold and my husbands pancakes were raw. Our server never came back over to check on us or see if we needed anything else. We ate would we could tolerate, paid, and left. We will not return.

Me and my wife decided to try this restaurant after hearing honestly mixed reviews. We walked in and waited at the reception booth for a few minutes waiting to be seated. No one showed up so we decided to seat ourselves. There were only two other customers seated who already had their breakfast. Once the waitress appeared she took our drink order and eventually our food order, after mentioning that the griddle they cook pancakes on was broke. We ordered two omelets. And waited, and waited. Mind you we were only the 2nd couple there. We waited 30 minutes before the food arrived in a near empty restaurant. The food looked great, but tasted ok. Honestly we were disappointed with the entire experience. It was a done deal when my wife says "we should have went to ihop"

Several tables were empty but still ended up getting a beeper and waiting 15 minutes. Area they sat us in was dirty. There was a big table in the middle and they were leaving as we were being seated. There was a milk spill and food thrown out from the table far enough that we had to step around it to avoid stepping in it. No one even tried to sweep the floor. 2 people did a poor job of trying to clean the table and just gave up and left it. The guy that was apparently the hostess also, just started another milk spill so now there were 2 and he just walked away and left it. The food was luke warm. The sausage patties were burnt. It was our first and last time going there. I can eat mediocre food in a messy environment at home for free.

Rating as I go through my experience today. Visiting fron Nashville and I saw this place yesterday while in the area. Insisted we come here so I could treat my fiance for breakfast. Service was great. The coffee is great. I ordered the banana foster pancakes, eggs and turkey sausage. Very busy here and the ambience is great as well. The food was awesome, delicious and over-the-top great. My fiance ordered the Salmon Benny and it was amazing. Our food was late however we did not say anything but the waitress informed the manager and she went to the kitchen and brought our food right out. They were all apologetic. This place definitely deserves a 5 star.

The hostess at the front that always wears a ponytail at the top of her head she looks like she just rolled out of bed. She is very very rude! I never want to say a restaurant could be racist she treated us like we didnt belong. I only come back because my husband enjoys the corn beef hash and he tried to explain to me its not the owner its her. My second time coming in three weeks and she looks the same with bad attitude. I asked her one question and she just blurted the answer with an cocky response. Overall food is good the service of hostess SUCKS!!!!!

TOTALLY disappointed !!! Pancakes were served burnt as well as the bacon on the eggs benedict. City grits were good...service was slack due to serving obviously burnt food...NOT WORTH THE MONEY !!!!! Never saw a manager, waited on food for 25 minutes after order placed, received burnt food and waitress did not ask if anything was wrong with food...only took 2 bites and could not even chew they were so bad. Dont waste your time or money here...Eggs Up Cafe and Dennys is a much better value for the money and taste.

Great food up until my 3rd visit(take out order). I understand it not going to be perfect each visit so I decided to contact the restaurant prior to this rating. The srimp and grits were not up to the standards I was used to neither was the portion. The manager on duty "Linda" argued that the kitchen manager prepared my food as if he cant make any mistakes and that she packed it as if she were the God of packing food and that my order was in spec. This dish and service is not up to par for its price point.

Not impressed. Sitting at a breakfast joint before noon with half a dozen menu items that include biscuits. Heart is set on biscuits and gravy. Order then told dont have any biscuits. What in the Sam hill is this poppycock. Needless to say Im now gonna sit here and watch my wife and kid eat while I have nothing. Wait staff should be informed when something is 86d immediately so someone like myself doesnt get their heart ripped from the chest. Thanks a lot broken egg. Great first impression on someone.

Their pancakes and French toast are delicious and in a much nicer atmosphere than a greasy diner. There are tons of brunch options on the menu, if pancakes arent your thing. The kid silver dollar pancakes are served 3 per plate and they are as thick and fluffy as the regular pancakes, just smaller of course. This was my third time and we have always received friendly and attentive service. I only wish they were open past 2pm, especially on the weekends.

The house made sausage was delicious. Was suppose to get 2 scrambled eggs and it looked like one. I complained to the manager and she said she would let the kitchen know, the end. Manager did not offer to bring more egg out. And she did not offer a discount on the meal. $9.99 for what looked like one egg, not two, house made sausage and sliced tomatoes. Dish was suppose to come with potatoes and Bread. I got sliced tomatoes in place of that.

I used to eat at their original location in Mandeville, LA in the late 90s. It was great there and then, and its great here and now. If you like breakfast (and who doesnt), youll love the selection, the quality and taste, as well as the service - all exceptional! Whether youre looking for a simple 2 eggs and bacon starter for your day, or have a taste for something a little wilder, like Stans Mardi Gras omelet, you wont be disappointed.

Stopped by for a late breakfast at 10 AM on a Tuesday. VERY impressed. Ordered the Monterey omelet with regular eggs, not expecting much. It was REALLY good. Even the salsa was good (I expected it to taste store bought but tasted made in house - probably isnt ;-) ) Coffee was great and the service (Vicky) was perfect. This place does an upscale breakfast right. Im guessing bad reviews on service are from the weekend.
