After reading through the reviews, I think this location does not like families......seems to be a trend. Visited the Citrus Park Smokey Bones today. I found a coupon online for $10 off $20 and our oldest daughter had never been there. She was home visiting from the Navy. We asked the hostess about the coupon prior to being seated. They said we would need to show it to the server. When the server came by we showed it to her and asked. I told her she needed to note the code now because my cell phone was running a little low on battery. The server was put off that it took us a minute to decide what we wanted. The food was ok. Everything was luke warm (with the exception of the baked beans); they were hot. The waitress dropped the food and before we even took a bite asked if everything was ok and yummy? My younger children ordered hamburgers and quickly discovered there was no mayo or mustard on the table. Our waitress ran by, my husband called out to her, which she ignored. We sent one of the kids to the hostesses to ask for mustard. The waitress then brought it - we were all done eating at this point. We just asked for boxes and our check. Which incidentally did not reflect the coupon. She said "o, sorry about that, Ill go take care of it". About ten minutes later she comes back with the kitchen manager, who said he would have to see the coupon, because Smokey Bones doesnt have coupons. He then amended that statement to Smokey Bones only sends coupons to the Bones members, which we are. Which is untrue I have seen printed coupons in the Sunday papers. I told him we had verified the coupon would work prior to ordering, and that I had a very low battery before eating. He said if he couldnt see it he couldnt honor it. My phone still had charge so I showed it to him. He refused to honor it. He said the code was invalid. I said I would be posting this and would not visit or recommend Smoke Bones again... He said fine, whatever you want to do. I post when things are very good and when things are very bad... My family was treated disrespectfully, service was poor and the food - not warm.

Very disappointed in this location (Citrus Park). Took my husband here tonight (3/3/17) for the first time after telling him how good their chicken was. We arrived at about 10:45 pm and after 5 mins of looking over the menu, proceeded to head over to the bar to order our food. While waiting, we could see the cooks prepping the food. They were preparing food for us as well as several guests who were sitting waiting to be served. We were baffled and disgusted to see one of the cooks (the dark skinned, heavy set guy. Im being specific because I did not catch his name and hope the owners are reading this and will take appropriate action) not wearing any gloves. We were about to spend $40 bucks on two meals and you mean to tell me the cook isnt wearing gloves? We watched in horror as he took his bare hands and placed hot fries on a few of the guests plates, while at the same time touching different utensils, etc and even scratched his face. MAJOR health violation. After watching for minutes, my husband was completely turned off and decided to leave. I asked the bartender if the cook was wearing gloves and he responded with "he should be" then peered a little closer with a certain look of embarrassment/oh sh** (rightfully so) and stated "Im gonna go yell at him." We told him not to worry about it and walked out. How disappointed were we after a tiring night out expecting to get a nice meal because we were absolutely STARVING, only to be completely disgusted and vowed to never return to this place. This cook was preparing multiple dishes for customers and who knows how many of those people got sick. We will never return here.

Went to Smokey Bones tonight with my girl and some friends. Craving some great wings. My friends order nachos never came out nor did the server ( Brittany) mention anything about them. We Cancelled the nachos at that point. 20 minutes later when Brittany finally came back to take our orders we ordered wings and some sides. The food took forever to come out. When it finally did, the smoked wings were overcooked. The manager came over later and offered a dessert for free to make up for the food not coming out and the long wait. We accepted. Finally we ask for our bills. My bill was $52.52 which i gave her EXACT change. My friends used a credit card whose bill was $41 something. Thinking we would not notice (Brittany) used the cash for their bill which was only $41 and swiped my friends credit card for our order which was more expensive. She tried to give herself a $11 tip. I think she thought i was not leaving her a tip because i gave her exact change. So she took it upon herself to switch the bills and tip herself. When we confronted (Brittany ) about the check she immedietly took the bill and said dont worry i havent closed your check yet. We decided to leave her nothing. This employee needs to be coached and watched because she has no integrity. Imagine how many other customers she has done this to. Due to her lack of integrity we will not be returning to this restaurant.

The floor was sticky, from the moment I walked in, all the way to the other side of the restaurant, to the bathroom, literally everywhere. I checked the bottom of my shoes thinking it was me, nope, just the floor. Gross. Our server, Sarah, was awesome, very attentive and friendly. Our food was room temp, and the sliced chicken and pulled pork I had was slightly cooler at room temp. I was expecting more, as this was my first visit and I was told many great things about this chain. But the food was nothing special, your better off going someplace that is local, mom and pop, kinda joint. We didnt complain, it took 30 minutes to get our food when there might have been 10 tables max? So we figured it wasnt worth it. Side note: Managers, please train staff to be more mindful of families with small children. When I asked for another plate so I could share my food with my daughter (who is 23 months, in a high chair), I was given a full size serving plate. Really?!?! And a set of adult silverware for her? Again, really?!?!? You have a to-go option so you must have plastic utensils you offer your guests? Maybe those would be more age appropriate for the little ones? Overall, not worth the money and we will not be back. Again, Sarah was awesome, and our poor experience had nothing to do with her.

Ive been going to this Smokey Bones ( Citrus Park, Florida) for over 10 years now. I dont know what happened in the past 2 years, but its all been down hill. Last night was our (4 of us - 2 couples ) last time. The server was polite and sweet but SLOWER than anyone ever. One of the meals, the Steak & Spinach Salad came to the table about 1/3 of the normal size. We sent it back and they did correct the problem. But why would you even bring it to the customer like that! This took another 8 to 10 minutes. After dinner we ordered the ((Hot Bag O’ Donuts So hot. A bag of fresh + fluffy + round + cinnamon-sugary donuts + chocolate and raspberry dipping sauces. )) It didnt come to us with the raspberry dipping sauce. We were more than ready to leave before they came out. We asked for our check before the donuts came to the table...... and we waited and waited. The donuts arrived, and we asked to get them to go, because we had already asked for the check. It was just awful. Its too bad, because I love the baby back ribs. We where at our table from 6:20pm - 8:15pm.. Way too for a regular night out for dinner. So long Smokey Bones of Citrus Park... Youve had several chances and failed.
