We come here all the time and absolutely love it thats why I feel I need to address our last visit. Our shrimp risotto came out with the rissoto rice more then under cooked. We sent it back and again it came out undercooked. Risotto rice should not be hard and crunchy. Our salmon and crab cakes we ordered were cooked but border line cold. They did an awful job prepping all our meals and bringing them out at the same time. You can tell some were made before others and left to sit. Our soup was boiling hot and almost unable to eat yet the salmon was cold. We were there for a birthday and they said would you like us to bring a piece of cake out? Of course we said yes then they brought it out and said sorry we dont have a candle. Ok so you dont have a candle no worries but the girl that brought the cake to us who wasnt our server pretty much showed zero cares they were out of them. I do not remember our servers name but he was a nice young man that was fantastic. We have been here as a family dozens of times. Seriously what ever you have going on over there, fix it!

Went with my boyfriend for the first time. Outstanding experience. We were seated in a timely fashion and served by the most polite waiters. We had the chickpea fries and loved it. Very unique taste with both the sauces. I ordered the rustic grilled chicken and my bf ordered the Moroccan chicken. My chicken was exactly the way Id want it. Could cut through it with ease and yet had an amazing texture and flavor. The vegetables were also a great hit. His dish was a little spicy but still just as good. Our taste buds certainly had a surprise. To finish off we had chocolate lava cake and pound cake with strawberries. We noticed they pay attention to details. They came so well prepared like in their images and also focused on everything from taste, presentation, color, texture, even temperature contrast. My lava cake was warm and indulgent while the vanilla ice cream accompanying it was cool and sweet. I had never been more happy with my restaurant experience. Definitely MUST GO.

This has become my husband and Is official weekly date night place. The presentation of the food is amazing and you will not be disappointed in the taste. The food is filled with flavor! I have yet to try a dish I didnt love. The service is awesome (thank you tonight for your awesome service: Okeye was our amazing server tonight) Your glass will never be empty and someone will always be there to make sure you are satisfied. I have never been disappointed in the food or the service. I look forward to unwinding here after a long day at work. Props to the bartender as well...because the drinks are ridiculously delicious and you cant beat the Happy Hour prices. What a treat. I cant wait until date night again. Its so nice to have a place so close that leaves you so satisfied. Dont forget to join their club to reap the benefits. Just saved $10 tonight using my Carmel card. Love this place

I loved my 1st experience and my friends are such regulars they even bought wine glasses from there. I took this friends 95 year old mother and my 86 year old mother sat night 1/23. The cup of lobster bisque was delicious and my mothers stuffed shrimp were as well, albeit only 4 and overpriced. The 95 year old and I got the lobster roll. It tasted like ice water. As though it had been quickly defrosted under running water and served water logged with melting ice crystals. It was inedible. When asked if everything was ok, I told her no and why. She said Im sorry and walked away. The little ladys blood sugar was off by now so she order carrot cake which was hard and dry. We took the 2 lobster rolls and cake hone to the pet pig. 2 more people asked how everything was, and I told them the same thing and simply got an, Im sorry. Why ask if you dont care to make it right?

I typically dine at the Carrollwood location. However, I was closer to the Swann Avenue location, so I stopped in there. I was extremely disappointed. Today is Sunday and on Sunday and Monday they have a price-fixed menu which was definitely on the iPad today. However, I was told I could not get that and would have to choose from a different price fix menu which was double the price due to it being Valentines Day weekend. Valentines Day is one day. Therefore you turned a regular away because of price gouging. The server was extremely pleasant in her denial on my request for the meal located and advertised on the iPad. Nevertheless, I am not pleased with my experience.

Our experience at Carmel Kitchen was top notch. We had extremely personal and caring service. The menu was vast with a great selection. They also offered table side tablets if you wanted to see photos of the menu items. That really helped us make our ordering process fun! We loved the the Happy Hour small plates so we were able to try multiple items. They also offered some dinners in 2 sizes so we even had a bit of room to enjoy their Mango Raspberry Crisp. Definitely recommend this restaurant!!!!

Atrocious food, service great, and a really neat ordering concept. Had the tunisian chicken, chickpea fries, and calamari. The chicken and calamari were not edible, the chickpea fries were below average, but still better than the other food. I would go for drinks ONLY.

Food was AWFUL! Poor quality steak... Had to use an excessive amount of condiments to cover the taste. Burger was ordered medium, came raw. Drinks (water and diet) took 10 mins. The table next to us got free entrees because everything came out wrong. Dont waste ur $

This is the most nasty restaurant I ever seen before. Worst customer service ever. At first we found bugs on the salad than hair. The manager realized that something was wrong and didnt even try to interact with us. Dont ever eat at this place. UNHEALTHY!!!!!

Had brunch with my 2 girlfriends today. Food was OUTSTANDING! The staff and management were all extremely professional and polite. The atmosphere was trendy but not pretentious. Overall, we had an excellent experience and will definitely be back.

The service was pretty great, and the atmosphere of the place is nice. Neither my wife nor I, however, were very impressed with the food. It wasnt bad by any means, but wed had better mussels and a burger elsewhere.

Food was delish, and was served quickly. No up-charge to swap sides. Loved the chicken Marsala with Parmesan polenta and roasted veggies. Manager was also very accommodating - overall fast and friendly service.
