The hotel and associated resturant is great. We had a few check in issues however. We booked our rooms early but had a few members of our party who had to make travel changes. Adjusting thier check out dates by 24 hours raised the daily rate for all three rooms by $20. We arrived at 2 am had a few issues with the over night staff. We were a group with 3 rooms with differing check out dates after the aforementioned changes. The overnight staff switches two of our rooms. We were able to correct the issue the next day after speaking with the day staff. Each of our rooms also were purchased with a breakfast meal option where they give you breakfast vouchers at the in hotel restaurant. 2 of our rooms recived thier from the overnight staff but the third had to get that strightened out the next day as well. Overall the stay has been great besides the check in issues. They have a shuttle to several places in Tampa including Raymond James stadium on game days. So far we are pleased but we had alot of extra hassle to sort out after driving 18 hours to get here.

I have never experienced a better hotel stay - EVER. This place was clean and friendly. I never saw/met a hotel employee that was anything but cheerful and happy to help out. I have emailed the hotel to make sure they know how great the experiences was and cited five specific employees. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained. The housekeeping staff took very good care of me and any extra requests. I even came back to the room and had a towel animal waiting for me. While the hotel is not very conveniently located if you dont have a car, the staff is very helpful with other dining options. The restaurant in the hotel has such good quality food that it rivals some restaurants that I have been to. Every employee there went the extra mile without me even having to ask. This hotel is a well-oiled machine firing on all cylinders. I highly suggest this location.

Limited menu but food was good. I started with the Seafood Chowder; nearly every spoonful had at least one type of the multiple seafood options in it. My entree was the Shrimp and Scallops; it was good and well seasoned though the coconut cream sauce was too sweet for my liking. The "restaurant" itself is an off chute of the lobby so people are coming in and out, checking in or out so there is not a lot to look at or make it cozy. The staff was good but disorganized. One person took me to my table and took my drink order. Then another ended up waiting on me and yet another person closed out the meal and gave me the check though never came to pick it up so the second person did that. Given there is nothing close by for three hotels, its nice but definitely could be better too.

We were delighted and surprised to find this beautiful new hotel near the airport. The staff is super friendly and helpful. My husband left a very expensive camera in the shuttle to the hotel from the airport and the hotel called and he happily returned it to us right away. If you are coming in early to take a cruise out of Tampa this could be a good option for you! They have a free shuttle to and from the airport, swimming pool, business center and more.

first off... the rooms were a little dated... however, that aside, i had an excellent experience with the waitstaff...kimberly at the front desk is amazing!! we had to change our reservations at least 3 times due to dates being changed on surgeries that my husband was having and there was ZERO issues in doing that. the food ( room service) was among the best that ive had, for what it was. would DEF recommend this Hilton Garden Inn for anyone. close to the airport and close to the international plaza...

Atmosphere: Non existant. The restaurant just sits in the lobby of the hotel with people constatntly coming in and out the front doors. Food: Mediocre. Limited selection and small portions. Price: Outrageous. $28 for a 4oz filet with french fries? Serive: The host was also our waiter, and he was slow because he was trying to do things like fold napkins, etc. while also serving us. The whole experience was a disaster and I can only wish that I could get my time and money back.

I stayed on the long weekend for July 4 and I loved this hotel! Its very clean, the staff is friendly and always helpful. The breakfast was Amazing and delicious! Bed was comfortable, they responded fast when we asked for something that we needed. I will be staying again!

This hotel and its staff deserve a special commendation. During Hurricane Irma, the hotel welcomed evacuees and their pets (some quite large!), kept their bar and restaurants open to their guests and the general public, even though other hotels had stopped serving, generally went the extra mile to be accommodating during a difficult period for all. Cant say enough about how grateful I am for their kindness.

The hotel had great customer service provided by a very friendly staff. The in house restaurant had a delicius selection of meals. The beds were comfortable and firm. Overall i would stay here again.

Our room was on the first floor. The room was clean and spacious if a little dated. Around 1:30am we were awakened by a very loud and obnoxious group of people in the hallway. We were awoken again at 3am by loud music. The music continued until 5am and we were unable to get back to sleep the entire time. I guess we were just unlucky to have such inconsiderate neighbors.

I have to say that the service here was excellent. The guy at the front desk went above and beyond for me and my friend upon our very late arrival and long trip. We also had a great deal of time before our flight back after our cruise and they were kind enough to hold our luggage while we explored a local beach.

Rooms are up to date and clean. Hotel is well organized and run well. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Rooms are quiet. Beds are not bad but not as good as one would hope. Close proximity to numerous restaurants and dining options of reasonable price. Plenty of things to do beyond just staying in the room.
