Ok so i went in this place last night for the first time. I am new to the area and dont know what time each bar closes (they are all different). Evidently they had called "last call" while i was outside. I walk up to close my tab and to get one last beer. The bartender (no idea what his name was) started to scream at me. All he had to say was "sorry man i did last call" but instead he gave me a beer, and started berating me. Literally screaming as I was filling out the receipt. The first time in my life i didnt leave a tip. He said dont leave a me fn tip i dont care. I left because at that point i thought he may have been looking to get physical. He followed me outside and I am assuming he was on some kind of drugs or maybe he was having a bad night idk. Up until that point i was having a good time at this place but I guess the bartender was ready to leave.

Lived on St Pete Beach for 9 years and never walked into the Swigwam. Last week I had the pleasure of drinking the best cosmo in Pinellas County! Truly a fun, comfortable, laid back environment with friendly customers and bartenders. Will be back! Soon...........

Great place to grab a drink for the beach and take a walk, however alcohol is NO longer aloud on the sand part of the beach. Not a lot of seating.
