Its okay; "fine," if you dont like "okay." I dont like the exaggerated positive and negative comments people tend to give restaurants, so I will keep this as honest as I can. Keep in mind that many people, probably most? dont know much about what really good food should be expected for the money it cost. I mean come on, a lot of people think meatloaf for dinner is great, duh. My wife and I have patronized this restaurant three times in the past year. We live about three miles away, so that tells you we dont come often. Why? Well, the prices are too high for just okay food. I also think the interior could be renovated somewhat, although the exterior is in an attractive part of town in an attractive plaza. Maybe so much walk-in traffic is hard on the decor. Parking can get tight because a lot of retirees who live in PSL nearby come, as there are so few choices. I cant say the food is too little for the money, the portions are fine. However, it is worth a buck or two less per order, whatever the order is. We have only had breakfast, and have tried several things on the extensive menu. The wait staff is pleasant (doesnt matter much to me but I noticed a lot of reviewers want that), and usually busy. Since the place is busy, (because there are so few decent breakfast places in Port St. Lucie West), the service is not very rapid, but it wasnt noticeably slow to my recollection. I wouldnt go back unless my wife insisted on breakfast on the way somewhere, primarily due to the price. Come to think of it, if I recommended we stop there, (for lack of another choice nearby), she would probably refuse due to the lack of value. One thing they could do to reduce prices is to reduce the overly extensive menu options so they dont have to buy so much stock, but we assume they wont do that. In summary, dont think just because the place looks nice and is in a nice part of town that the food or the value are going to be something upon which to make an exaggerated positive comment. It is okay, but a bit pricier than one would like. There is nothing remarkably good or bad about this restaurant, so we give it an "Okay."

This WAS my favorite breakfast cafe until my last visit. I sat at a booth that was next to the Window overlooking the outdoor patio. A gentleman with a can of HotShot bug spray proceeded to spray the entire table with it including the placemats and all the condiments! I talked to the host, who said they "probably"wouldnt use that table for the rest of the day. (Are you kidding me? The placed was packed!) The placemats had been removed but I explained that the ketchup, salt, pepper and sugar packets had all been contaminated with bug spray. His reply was that the gentleman was his boss and he sometimes gets carried away with killing the ants. He walked away and I saw him speaking to this boss. After about 20 minutes a waitress brought new placemats and took away the condiments. I still wonder if those were just put on another table. Love love love the food, but Im hesitant to go back. I certainly wouldnt sit on the patio! !

On February 1 at 1:30 I went to lunch at Berry Fresh with two friends. I was in the mood for a omelet and was pleased to see breakfast was served all day. I specifically asked the waitress if the cheddar chesse was real cheese not a cheese whiz type product. One friend ordered a club sandwich and said it was just ok, nothing special, my other friend ordered the quiche and the it was poor at best. It was very cool, the egg was extremely dry and the top was a tough puff pastry. My omelet was served and the bright orange goo that was running from the inside of the omelet had nothing in common with real cheddar cheese. The omelet was thin and dry, the potatoes and toast were burnt and the second cup of tea was offered with hot water and no fresh tea bag. I was so disappointed because the restaurant that was previously in this location, Camilles was one of my favorite sandwich and salad shops!

Using your ratings and prior customer reviews we decided to check this place out and we are glad we did. The restaurant was packed with people yet the staff were friendly and the place was clean. We were quoted a wait time that was spot on accurate and while waiting we quizzed other customers about the place and food and everyone gave us high comments. Our server (Sarah) was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the menu and after listening to our likes and dislikes made suggestions that were perfect and taste even better. Yes we will be returning often and will recommend this place to friends, family and strangers!

The menu was filled with original soups, salads, & sandwiches. This month they had several specials with mouth watering tomatoes from GA (while they lasted). My aunt and I had strawberry chicken salads (with an abundance of real greens) and a delicious blueberry vinaigrette dressing & cornbread with pineapple butter. My uncle had one of the tomato sandwiches special with avocado. Portions were plentiful. The table next to us had breakfast & Im definitely returning for the crembrule stuffed french toast! Service great- overall wonderful outing!

A favorite breakfast or brunch place for me and my friends. We all have a variety of different eating habits from healthy to maybe not so healthy so when we can all go somewhere and get something we really like we know its a keeper. Portions are adequate service is good and prices are fair. That sounds more like a three-star review but when you add to it the variety on the menu I bump it up to a 4.. its always a little tricky for me to get into the parking lot. Theres often a wait but Im going to say that its worth it.

I have been eating here a couple of times a week since I moved here a year and a half ago... It is still awesome and I crave it when Im gone!! They have the best bacon (its cider smoked), and their eggs benedict are awesome. Im not a huge fan of the breakfast potatoes, but the grits are very very good. And most importantly for me GREAT COFFEE. Its hard to find a place with really good coffee, and its just a bonus that the food is so good. Also, try the blueberry fritters... Yum!

Took some friends for breakfast today. This was my third time at the Cafe. Our experience with the food was disappointing. However, the staff was polite and quick to serve. My grits were gooey, eggs done right but werent really hot. The bacon tasted peculiar and I didnt eat them. My girlfriend felt the same way too. My husbands meal wasnt up to par either. One person out of four had a good breakfast. It might be quite a while before returning.
