This was our second time eating at this restaurant and they are still slow and the service isnt any better. The first time we ate there it was their grand opening so we thought they were still working out the kinks. Then we tried it again tonight and it was even slower then the first time we waited 45 miuntes to get our food and their was only nine other tables being helped. I wanted to order off of the kids menu because my daughter doesnt eat alot and was told I couldnt because she was over 13. Then the waitress said we have a quesadilla plate that cost $10.00 and I said I dont want to pay $10.00 for a chesse quesadila and she said you want that is the price for the beef or chicken one. Then they made our food wrong and when we told the waitress she said well you seen me writing it down it;s the kitchens fault. When what she should of said was Im very sorry let me get my manager. Then when the bill came she charged me $10.00 after she told me it wasnt going to cost that much. When I asked her why she charged me $10.00 after she said it wasnt going to cost that much she said well thats what the computer rang up. After asking to speak with the manager he said he would take it off since she told me that but then turned around and charged me for an alcarte. I think the customer service needs a lot of work and the waitress need to be trained better on the menus. I also think the manager could of handled it better. I will not be returning back to this establishment.

Being pretty generous, I gave it 2 stars because it didnt make me sick. What inspired me to write this review is that they randomly threw an extra $2 ($21.04 total) when they charged my credit card. I travel for work so I keep careful records and know this isnt me being forgetful (Ive even uploaded a picture of the receipt I duplicated for my records for kicks). But you may ask, "surely, a $5 tip isnt unreasonable?" Considering this was a take-out order... which they didnt even include flat-ware or napkins with (I was staying at a hotel, good thing they had spares)... you tell me if any tip at all was reasonable. But what about the food itself? If I didnt have the receipt, I honestly wouldnt have remembered what I ate... it was more bland and forgettable than I thought Mexican food could possibly be... and I spent 6 years in Kansas City. PS. The dish I had was on the menu as "Favoritos". HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH... oh boy. PPS. Its worth noting that almost every other review Ive ever written is 5 stars... I really am easy to please.

what ever you do....DONT use your credit/debit card at this place!!!!! They are saving your card information & fraudulently charging your card MONTHS after you visit!!!! Reporting them for CREDIT CARD FRAUD. I purchased a gift card in May for $50.00 and paid for it with my debit card, it cleared my bank on May 28th 2016. To my surprise....JULY 14, 2016 my bank informed me that my account was overdrawn when I looked into it I found that MI CASA had charged my debit card for $50.00!! I was no where near MI CASA and hadnt been there since MAY, so you tell me....WHY DO THEY STILL HAVE MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION?? Never the less, they have FRAUDULENTLY charged my card causing my bank account to be overdrawn & bounce 4 items @ $37.00 each!! I have had to close my debit account & pay all these fees because of this establishment....THANKS MI CASA !! I would NEVER recommend anyone to visit you!! I am absolutely reporting you by the way!!

7/2015: 2 Stars. Mi Casas average to below-average menu is priced twice as high as it should be. The plates average $13-14 in price but are worth only half that. I had to limit my order to a single enchilada for $5 from the a la cart menu. The enchilada was chicken rolled in a tortilla with a little sauce and cheese as expected, but nothing more. I also the below average re-fried beans for $2.50. This kept my order to $8, which I consider damage control and not a good value. Luckily, i did not leave hungry, thanks to the oily and under-seasoned chips and tomato-soup salsa, which had to be mixed with the "hot" green salsa to make it have any flavor. I will not return with the current prices and quality, and I have to think they are struggling for business.

Below Average, very good looking establishment, service is good but everybody of the staff seems to be scare of a guy standing there I guess hes the manager but he plays more the role of watch dog and not the role of a manager which is a individual with leadership skills, FOOD, chips and salsa are canned you can feel the taste you have the feeling that you are eating in a chain restaurant(Chevys) margaritas offer buy 1 and get one free very awful watery no favor, food was ok but if youre looking for a place who cooked real Mexican food this is not the place I know people here is calling everybody who dislike this place haters but my review is based of my experience this place has not really bad food but far from the real Mexican cuisine taste.

YUCK...we would have been better off @ Taco Bell...This Mexican Restaurant in a town that is half Mexican is sub par at most. The chips came from a bag and the Salsa from a jar...we were the only table in there right after it opened on a Saturday and had to wait 25 minutes for our food, the beans and rice were cold and the Chimichanga, which was over fried outside and cold in the middle, I would swear it came from a microwave, and it was covered in a gross "cheese" sauce. The waitress never came back to fill our drinks to wash down the over salty food. We will never return to this place before it closes down after everyone eats here once. Kinda sad that so many Spanish people in Plant City and they cant cook authentic Mexican food.

I love Mexican food and had MiCasa recommended to me by several (non-Mexican) locals. I dragged my mother along for the experience. We both ended up ordering exactly the same dish--a sampler plate--as we wanted to try a cross-section of menu items. When the plate arrived, every single thing on it--no exceptions--was deep fried. Nothing had that fresh taste that I associate with Mexican food. And everything was extremely salty. My mother liked everything less than me. We were both disappointed. The ambiance has the "chain restaurant" feel. Even the "complimentary" salsa and chips appetizer had the canned taste. Our thought as we left was that we would not return to try it again.
