Every time I re-try The Brunchery I leave with partual disasatisfaction. I almost hate writing a review because, unlike some places I just say the heck with, I tryly feel sympathetic to the ownership. In so many ways the place is a Gem. Without a doubt it opened with all the signs of becoming one of those "institutional" places, those of us from the north in particular miss and find lacking down here. Some of you know what I mean; ie the "only place" to go for breakfast, that place the non locals do not know they are missing, one the places that make you happy to live where you live, and gives you bragging rights). The food is soooo good and seems consistant. Ingrediants are of better guality than I know of for miles. My favorite is the "Morning After Omlet". I even devourer every last potato it is served with as well as the fresh bread. A+ as well for the creatively named and crafted menu selections. Few are intised by ording a list of ingrediants. Especially the case with omlets, ordering from a list of add ins does not provide the confidence and excitement that completes a satisfying dinning experience. Do not know what I mean? Remind yourself how exciting your last order that went something like this felt, "ah, Ill take, ummmm, an omlet." (Phew I decided). Oh yeah with what? I never really did decide. "Ok, with, mmmm, let me see...ahhhh... green peppers, spinach annnnd chedar cheese...no wait maybe that will not taste good together...Ill just stick to...). The list of so many pre-sculpurtured works of art on a plate encourage the pleasurable experience of enjoying things outside the box with great degree of confidence and excitement. The Brunchery succeds in this with near perfection. The fun menu item names and the well crated combinations of ingrediants. That is an art not science, most people end up raving about.

I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME WITH THEM AGAIN! EVER! THEY ARE CONSISTENTLY RUDE AND HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS. I walked in with a 1 dollar coupon... 1 dollar! not like a buy one get one free or anything! one hundred pennies! The coupon not expired, and was for 1 dollar off an entree with a drink if over 8 dollars. The order was for $8.03 and the guy looked at the coupon like it was counterfeit money and with zero personality said he had to go ask someone about it. He came back and said that to use the coupon I had to also order a drink. So, I said OK, Ill take a sprite. Then a manager come over said I cant use that coupon because its not over 8 dollars. thats BEFORE taxes. I was blown away! They have a history of stuff like this aside from also being rude to their customers! This is the epic of rudeness when you would rather wrestle your CUSTOMER to the ground over a STUPID dollar coupon than to the let them have it! Its not the dollar, its the principle of the matter. When the customer shows up to spend money, has a coupon that is not expired, and her comment about it being before taxes... I mean really! that was effort number 3 of them attempting to avoid honoring the coupon. For the record it did not say anything on the coupon about before taxes. My family has spent hundred of dollars per year there. NEVER AGAIN. And now its official, we are going to make sure we tell everyone we know NOT to spend their money there. In my line of work, my customers are my lifeblood. I sometimes knock off thousands of dollars from my price depending on the situation and my customers know how we operate and respect us. I have no respect for a company that operates like the Brunchery, and will NEVER spend one more dollar there.

My family and I have been coming to the establishment off and on since they opened in their new location. Until a couple of years ago, we had really enjoyed the experience (with a few fairly minor issues). Please be aware that if you are a party of three or five you will be sat after parties of four who come in after you. Also, the chip beef gravy on toast has a bad habit of still having the Stoffers packaging with the meal (the kitchen doesnt bother to take it back out if it falls in). Also, make yourself excessively clear if you dont want an item in your food, like cheese, because they will still add it even if you tell them youre allergic (which I am). They do not check their potatoes for bad spots and I got a rotten one in my food (the waitstaff looked at me and told me that I was lying and that they usually would check something before putting it in their own mouth, implying that it was my fault for not checking it). They dont check their nuts, either, before making the chicken salad. If you like having spoiled sweet tea, youre in luck. I havent had a good glass ever. If none of that bothers you, feel free to enjoy, however, I know my money will not be spent there again.

My husband and I decided to try out this place since it is a local business and we like to support our local businesses. Big mistake, they were so rude! I would rate them a negative if I could. We were the first customers of the day, but the staff never came to our table to take our order. Several others tables sat down after us and the staff immediately went to them welcomed them and took their orders, completely ignore us as if we were not sitting in the same vicinity. My husband got up and politely asked the young lady if she could take our order, she gave him a stank look as if he was bothering her! She eventually walked over to our table and took out order without as much as a hello. She never apologized or even may any acknowledgement for the fact they had ignored us. We remained polite but I decided it was best to get up and leave, because it was apparent they didnt want to serve us in the first place, and frankly I dont want to spend my hard-earned money with a business who treats people rudely, for no apparent reason, except their own ignorance or prejudice. Sometimes you just have call it out for what it is.

My family and I have been told what an outstanding place this is. We have been on several occasions and each time we leave completely dissatisfied. The restaurant is under staffed and what staff they do have are inattentive and clearly unhappy. The kitchen staff is not able to make a simple Quiche dish, in fact their Quiche Lorraine is a slop of greasy goo at best and not even ate-able. We informed the staff that we were not pleased with the dish and they looked at us like we were crazy. Instead of apologizing and providing the meal as a complementary item (First Watch would take off the whole dish if you were dissatisfied as a courtesy) they ended up charged us for the items that came with the dish at the side item price which consisted of an undercooked muffin and a fruit cup and charging us $2.00 less. So, if you like greasy non ate-able food and a staff that treats its "Guests" like the crappy food that comes out of the kitchen, then the Brunchery Restaurant is for you. Otherwise, go spend your money elsewhere on a facility that cares about its guests.
