Worst experience of our LIVES !!!! Yesterday went in and everything was COLD AND SOGGY. The noodles were so old and crusty. Kept asking and asking politely to get more food !!!! That isnt hours old !!! Everything was terrible, the service is so rude!!!! Then when we finally begged after almost an hour to get one item new the guy yelled across the room in an vicious way to say it is finally ready after almost an hour !!!!! Then we were so fed up , I went up to the cashiers desk where you pay.told him calmly what was happening and he started yelling when i was explaining what happened. Then i walked away because he was being so hostile. Then he finally showed up to the table so my table told him what was happening and he got so ANGRY and viscous!!! I have a new born baby and he was yelling right next to his car seat and was completely ghetto. He almost hit my husband because he was going ballistic. Yelling at customers and not allowing fresh food ! Its also such a dirty place, when filling up our drinks the pitcher touched all of the cups. You never see them washing there hands while after picking up the plates. Such an disgusting experience !!! He was yelling so loud and then went up two tables asking crazy to other couples WAS YOUR FOOD GOOD? . you should never try to embaress the customer or yell at people keeping you in bussiness. I would not recommend going there!! Then we had to wait for the manager to get to work and finally after 30 mins she finally showed up and didnt try to resolve the issue. Never said anything to the guy about harressing us. Just completely ghetto and rude unfriendly people.

Been going here for years. Decent food. Never had a problem until tonight. Wife was in bathroom, male employee came in peeping on her. She got out the stall, and ran out. When told, management called her a liar. Said nobody was in there. Luckily, many other customers witnessed him in ladies room... Got nowhere so called police! Found guy was an illegal with no id. Contacted owner at home and owner supposedly fired him and cops took him away. Its a shame that a violated woman would be blamed... Will never go back! Thank you to all the ladies who witnessed it and werent afraid to speak up!!! And the Valpo Police who handled it. And to think the establishment tried to justify it by saying the guy doesnt understand english! In my eyes it shouldnt matter, drop me in mexico, I still know its wrong to go into the ladies room and peep!!!

Four of us ordered for carry out lunch today. We were so disappointed with our food. I ordered the crab Rangoon and did not get any sweet and sour sauce. I also ordered the house fried rice but could not eat it for lunch because no soy sauce was put in our bag. Pam ordered the crab Rangoon and beef and broccoli and it had no flavor what so ever; again no sweet and sour sauce for the Rangoon. Trish ordered the chicken hunan and despite the big chili on the menu no spice was to be tasted in this dish. Jen ordered the Rangoon and chicken fried rice; once again no sweet and sour for the Rangoon and she also could not eat her fried rice because of no soy sauce. bad bad bad; so sad :(

I LOVE this place! My wife takes me here whenever its my turn to pick a restaurant, i.e., my birthday, certain holidays, etc. EVERY time I go there I forget how great the food tastes and how large the food selection is until I get my first bowl of soup and plate of food. . We have eaten in several other restaurants in Valpo but whenever we go to there, the DB has almost become a MUST go to place to eat. And with the senior citizen discount, you cant beat the DB for value.

Went at 1pm on a Thursday. Food was hot and well stocked. Food was flavorful. Seafood delight shrimp was mushy, however. Decor needs serious upkeep. Garden hose dangling from ceiling tile by wall. Huge pile of broken/delapitated chairs against same wall. Just take them to the dumpster! Booths are coming apart at the seams. Questionable table decor...light sheath has a hole punched in it, paint flaking from dispensers. ALOT of chicken options...not alot of beef options.

I have been coming here for years and the food always leaves a good memory about when I first came here when I was little. My birthdays here were always amazing when I came here they would give me a plate of cute arranged little cakes and a little gift. I have had amazing memories here and I hope to come back again to remember all the good times. I recommend this place for everyone. Its something you cant miss out on.

First time....great food. Staff is friendly and the environment is comfortable. Lots of people for a Monday night but quiet. Would come again. I didnt like the way ice cream is served ; open buckets with scoops for self serve.if you love a variety of sushi, this isnt the best place but what they have is good.

Really good food, worth every penny. Comfortable seating, service is good. A good variety of food. It is usually busy, but I never wait more than 10 minutes to be seated. I live in another city, but I try to make a trip out there at least once a month especially for the food. I love it.

First timer. I did like the food but it didnt wow me. The ribs were very good and tender. Next time id like to try the hibachi grill. Ice cream is self served and scooped from the tubs which i hate. Friendly staff. Price not too bad. Would definitely go again.

Nice variety on the buffet. I was surprised to see pizza, chicken wings, mac n cheese as well as the expected Chinese dishes. Food was very fresh, steamy hot. Everything looked clean. The food was tasty. The staff was very courteous and genuinely friendly.

Avoid the the soggy tempura. But the hibachi and sushi are delicious. I have had better hibachi by far but the price is right. Had a bad tuna once, it made my stomach turn. Just be aware of fresh sushi color and prime eating times so its hot and fresh.

The beef - N - broccoli or anything beef, is so chewy, its like chewing on rubber. They need better quality meat products, because their sauces are fantastic, but cant eat there, because of the meat. Agree about the bathrooms, they are disgusting.

Well, let me tell you what. My family & I slurped on our straws with empty glasses & we were parched. Food was excellent, as always, but your male waiters really need to stop walking around talking & visiting & fill our cups is all I have to say.

Excellent atmosphere, the food was very good, the price was surprisingly cheap and they even had a sushi bar. I only regret accidently trying to take the sushi with my hands! If youre in Valparaiso, this destination is a must.

Food seemed fresh even after 2 pm. Both of us felt sick 1 hour later and ended up with serious stomach issues and on the toilet 2 hours later. Both of us. Only thing I. Common was food eaten that day.
