Recently we celebrated our daughters first birthday here and it was a big MISTAKE i did..It was a very bad experience for us from Restaurant management prospective. The food is too expensive and the maintenance of bouquet hall is too worst. Only banquet hall is good in appearance, rest of them are waste. My sincere suggestion if any one wants to do parties over here is, get banquet hall from any know hotel and order the food any well known restaurant, it will be CHEAPER and HASSLE free compared to here. Birthday Cake: They made birthday cake and it was disgusting. The main problem from Tabla is lack of management. They dont know how to do business. They will not allow us to bring cake from outside unless if we pay the penalty (I am totally confused, why they do this.) I was in a helpless situation when the manager brought spoiled cake at the time of cake cutting. He know that, the cake was not came good and due to that he didnt charged to me. I would have bring cake from outside if he informed me ahead of time about that. Desert: They made a rasa malai desert and it was the worst taste we have ever ate. I asked the manager to remove it from the buffet. Appreciated thing is, he brought Gulab jamoon after 30 mins as a replacement. Buffet: This place is too expensive for buffet. Even after paying $20 per plate i got a basic food plan with plastic plates and spoons. Though they are plastic, at least they are good. During the lunch they brought plastic plates for buffet. I asked to bring more plates when finished. I was shocked with their answers. They told me that they brought 60 plates for 45 guests assuming that every guest should use only ONE plate during lunch. What the hell is that :( This is weird restaurant i have ever experienced.. We need to constantly run behind the servers for refills. None of a servers are pleasing. Paying gratuity is waste of money. Air Condition: Since from the beginning of party, AC was broke... I informed to the manager and he told me that the reason is, doors are open. Even after closed the doors for 3 hours, all the guests felt too hot.. AC was working only at the back side of hall. Secondly, the ceiling started leaking water from the time our party was started. It was in the middle of sitting area tables and it was too annoying.. They kept a tray to catch the water.. Sound System: The Sound system was ridiculous. None of us hear lyrics properly even after keeping the volume high. Out of 2 speakers, only one speaker was working. When i asked the manager about this, i was shocked again. He told me that the Sound system is only for listening the party music but not to listen the songs. OMG What kind of banquet hall is this. Prior the party i have been informed that i will get a mic, but during the party he ignored me when i asked for it.

What isnt wrong with this restaurant? 1. We call the restaurant and no one answers for 10 minutes? Is the place closed or open? Okay 10 min of ringing and we find out its open. We shouldnt have wasted the 45 minute drive when we realized step 1 was a problem. 2. 45 min drive later, we get there and we are seated at an dirty table, food everywhere and sticky... Yuck. We ask for it to be cleaned and it smells like bleach. We change tsbles... 3. Next the menus take 15 minutes to come to us after requesting twice for them. We promptly order but our food takes an hour to come out. 4. During this hour wait, we observe at least 10 tables other than ours get up and leave without even placing an order. In fact, many who did order even got up and left... Wtf? Is this a business or an eternal wait in purgatory? We see people waiting outside who havent even been seated yet... We commiserate with them for their patience, who would actually wait for food this bad? 5. Appetizers come, no silverware, no taste, too salty, the absence of everything that is truly Indian Chinese or Thai. Gobi Manchurian was over fried and tastied like infinitely refried oil in an endless loop. 6. Another 45 min later, dinner is served. We notice others waiting to be served food who havent been helped since we first got in the restaurant. We see the owner on his phone instead of helping his employees serve customers. At $100 per table, he lost 10+ tables, which equates to $1000 lost in a single two hours of business. Thats throwing money down the drain. We then see him offering his apologies, discounts, and whatever he can to console or retain customers. However, I can guarantee him and everyone else who visited this poor excuse for a Indian/Thai/Chinese restaurant that NO ONE WILL RETURN. He offered us a free dessert. We declined as nothing can save the future of this doomed venture. We personally recommended tables around us who suffered our same fate (everyone in the restaurant), to go to Aashirwad, a professional Indian cuisine who has been in the business much longer with far superior quality and service. 7. Back to the tasteless dinner, my mother in law and myself still have indigestion and some serious stomach reactions to uncooked, raw, or other wise unclean poultry and paneer. The food health and safety agency needs to take a closer observation as food quality and freshness cannot be compromised. The naan was cold, the chicken rubbery, and the spices were nonexistent... Indian food, I think not. This is worse than microwave dinners. 8. No more steps to write as I realized Ive given this place far too much of my time and money.

We had an interesting dinner here this evening. The restaurant is part of the Clarion Hotel and is in the middle of a current construction zone, which made the area look kind of dumpy, but thats not their fault. It just made the place a little hard to find. One reviewer called this restaurant pricey, and I would agree to that but only in the sense that it aint Five Guys. Dinner for two this evening cost me $60 including tip, but we certainly got value for the money. The food here is lovingly prepared and comes in overwhelming quantities, so be prepared to take leftovers home or consider splitting an entree. Before ordering, the waiter brought us a few little cones of papas with two very savory sauces. My wife and I started with mixed pakoras. Our previous experience with this appetizer involved little fried pockets filled with vegetables. What we got was more like the Indian version of Japanese tempura. After doing a little bit more study, I discovered that this is normal and that there are many varieties of pakoras. They were very tasty, however. I had a wonderful lamb biriyani which could have possibly fed an entire regiment and was hot enough to ignite the furnaces of Erebor to boot; fortunately, it was served with a cooling yogurt sauce. My wife ordered a yellow curry which was nowhere near as spicy but was very tasty. The garlic naan bread which we ordered had plenty of garlic, unusual in my experience, but could have used a bit more salt. The restaurant advertises delightful desserts, but I would have needed the services of a stomach pump before I could partake, I was already so full. The servers were all attentive and eager to please, but I would describe them universally as hesitant. We may have been dealing with a new crop. Somewhere in the restaurant was a very noisy baby and the ambience lacks sound buffering, so it was pretty loud even though the restaurant was relatively empty. If I ever make it back to the Orlando area, I would happily return here; I would like to try their Thai offerings also.
