Shokudo is a decent place for asian food with a mellow, modern aesthetic. The building is unassuming, perhaps being a real estate agents office in a previous life. The owners would do well to save up for a relocation to a more hip place downtown, or a more complete renovation. The location deserves to match the excellent cuisine. The sushi selection is terse, but the quality is superior to just about every other place I have been to in the Deland/Sanford area. The main menu features noodle and rice bowls, which will appear pricey compared to your every day chinese takeout, but on par with competetors like Oudom. The quality and quantity warrants the cost, the food was delectable. A noodle bowl will easily feed two. I recommend Shokudo.

Shokedo 413 brings you out of the crowded restaurant scene, and Into the laid back, quaint and cozy kitchen. Its a smaller interior, but the desing is sleek and clean cut leaving you with a unqiue sense of finer dining yet still maintaining that relaxed atmosphere. The food simply put, is remarkable. The sushi and sashimi is high quality, and their special rolls pack flavor. Even their entrees such as the Vietnamese Pho, really hits the mark. So if youre ever driving down Woodland Blvrd keep an eye out of for Shokudo 413, and see for yourself just what Im talking about!

We love love love this place. I bring a new friend to try everytime. The Sushi is amazing; soup, salad, bulgogi beef, soba bowls, all amazing. Very disappointed as of late, the hours are always changing, theyre never open when we want to go. Odums sushi doesnt compare in my opinion, so Im stuck never getting sushi when I want it soooo bad. Please please please get set hours (bring back lunch hours!). I need my Dude Roll!

The food was excellent. The miso soup was some of the best I have ever had! The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about their menu. The decor was also nice, I love the rustic tables and the use of real chopsticks, instead of the disposable kind that splinters. The food is reasonably priced as well. Two of us ate for about $30.

We recently had a game night at our store. I asked Jimmy to provide us with some sushi and appetizers for our players. After the first of three hours, all of the sushi was completely gone and people were asking for more. I highly recommend this restaurant and theyre fabulous food. Thank you Jimmy.

This place is golden, really good. I have no complaints, never got sick eating here prices are reasonable. Theres really nothing bad I can say about 413. If anyone tries this out they wont be disappointed. Im actually just leaving this place now for a 3rd time so I had to give a stellar review.

Apparently the rebirth of Wasabi... We enjoyed our first eat in meal but when we ordered take out what we came with was sub par food with a sub par presentation. Does not mean we wont return but those in the area have good alternatives.

It was not bad but you dont get much fish in your rolls. They are tiny and just not a good value. 3 rolls were $30 and they were pretty pathetic sized.
