It is disappointing this restaurant takes up such a great piece of real estate on Lake Eola. They charge fine dining prices for bad food that you eat off wire patio furniture that sits on top of mulch or a blacktop. They seriously try to charge $14 for a salad and $15 for a fish sandwich, while drinks are served in cheap disposable plastic cups, including wine, and your butt is getting mesh indents from sitting on wire lawn chairs. The service is consistently poor. They print obnoxious, self-important things on the menus like "Absolutely no modifications to the menu" and "This is not a fast food restaurant so your food may take some time". My husband and I both had stomachaches after our last visit. As locals we have given this place a shot a handful of times, but we wont be back. I have heard this place used to be better, so I think there is new management or new changes that are ruining the place. I hope it goes out of business and something better comes along.

2/14/17 I have been to this bar a few times, great view, out doors, reasonable drinks and fair food. However this last time I was there I was extremely disappointed. As always I paid with credit and since I was sitting at the bar right in front of the cash register I found it strange when the girl that attended me disappeared with my credit card for a few minutes. To my surprise 45 minutes later; the fraud department is calling me to investigate certain charges! Thank god that this worker who obviously stole my credit card information pass it to morons who ran charges too far from my circle of spending, alerting the cards fraud department. Thanks to their stupidity in the process of committing this fraud I was spare a few headaches. Kind of hard to be spending money in two sities simultaneously. Well leason learned and of course, I will not be back.

My coworkers and I used to eat here at least once a week for its location/atmosphere. The food is below average for its price and the service is always horrible. In spite of this we always tipped well and acted like the horrible service didnt bother us so we could just enjoy our lunch break eating around the lake. Today our server sat us at a table, and then after about 10 minutes returned to our table to ask us to move to another table because they decided they wanted to use our table for another party, even though there were plenty of other empty tables. When i complained to the owner she audaciously said that it was company policy to side with her servers because she had such loyal employees, well i told her we were never coming back. If this place where at any other location besides Lake Eola it wouldnt last a week.

This place is fan-freaking-tastic for their food, scenery and overall ambiance! Has the perfect view of the lake and steps away from the amphitheater with a large menu for everyones tastes, delicious Mediterranean style-food and cold beer! I looove the hummus, bruschetta, kebobs and tzatziki sauce with the gyros and my husband is addicted to their spicy peel and eat shrimp and pepper bacon on anything he orders! Ooh and the scallop stir-fry=YES! The servers are always friendly and all seem like they are having fun while they work and never let our beers go empty, big no no for my hubs. Highly recommended for locals and tourists. We have been several times to try new stuff on the menu and every time we come everyone seems to have the motto down pat...just relax!

DELICIOUS! PERFECT Location! The view is Awesome, Service was Awesome! AND, the Chicken Kabobs= AMAZING! Highly Recommend trying them. You WONT be disappointed! I was very Impressed that the Owner himself walked out and greeted my little Family, and Thanked us for stopping in! HUGE Bonus! Especially being my first time stopping in at the Relax Grill. The reclining chairs were very nice! It was a perfect setting, being Outside, Waterview, Fans blowing, and being able to sit back and Relax! My Side Greek Salad was very Fresh, and the Child plates were Perfect portions. My Daughters LOVED the Chicken tenders and Macaroni and Cheese! I will definitely visit the Relax Grill again!!!!!

Having been in the food serving industry and the customer industry I understand being busy. I also understand what it is to serve food and keep your people happy. But the level of service that I received from Amanda was deplorable. I never at one point in time felt that I was a customer but felt more like a nuisance, something that she had to take time out of her day to deal with. I hope that this might be a learning experience and its something that she learns from, but I will not be back in, I will not spend another dollar, let alone recommended it to anybody. I dont know why this level of service has become acceptable, but I hope that changes for the sake of the business.

Very cheap frozen food thats been reheated and is overpriced. Snotty, awkward waitstaff that doesnt make you feel welcomed. Complained to the owner about the food and he argued with me instead of apologizing. Theres a ton of restaurants in the area; dont go here. They also charge gratuity, which I find hilarious since their waistaff is mostly made up of young, female-Florida trash with no class, manners or customer service skills. Ignore the good reviews; theyre fake. This place is known locally for its poor-quality food and service; they only make money because they are in a busy area on the lake.

I eat out at least once a day. One Sunday I went to relax grill on a Sunday with my boyfriend. We sat down and ordered our food. Drinks came out right away. Then we waited 1 hour and half for our food. I ordered a fish ENTREE and was served a sandwich. The fish smelled so horrible I just ate the bread. No fries nothing came with the sandwich that was supposed to come with it. I was so hungry that I didnt care. I was over charged, there was no manager on site. We sat there and had people smoking all around. Worst customer service. Please save your stomachs from getting hurt

I have been to this restaurant many times only for their convenience so close to work. They are always messing up on orders or forgetting to put orders in to the kitchen. They messed up my food twice and the manager said if they make a third sandwich, they will charge me twice!! I waited 25 minutes before I had to remind them of my order. So I was there for an hour and ended up not eating at all. The manager/owner was very rude and would not have my food made the correct way. I will never go there again! Needless to say, I walked out not paying either.

Had a wonderful time using the swanboat with someone to encoutage me to get back out into the community to enjoy life itself. Then we strolled over to relax grill. Immediate service and we had our meals in 20 mins when ordered and it were too much food for the money which are excellence to spread the word of this place. The cooks did an awesone job with the meals!!! The servers and the workers are friendly and strategist. However the down fall are no public Wi-Fi there.... I will return again in the near future.
