First off... for everyone who knows Wawa, THIS one is one that you will want to order lunch from and sit outside... as its the only Wawa in the country where you can stare across the street and watch Roller Coasters, and listen to the screams and laughter from the SeaWorld visitors riding them. Its really awesome! But I must say this: I really dont understand how someone could give such an amazing place like Wawa a 1-star review unless you the reviewer either didnt get something free or didnt understand how to operate the (very easy to understand)ordering screens in front of you.) And wouldnt you attempt to have your nightmare of an experience resolved beforehand? This company has such history... yes this is the very first Wawa Convenience Store/Gas Station to pop up in Florida, but the company goes back several decades. Im 32, and when I was 9 years old and waiting for Mom and/or Dad to get back home with Wawa Hoagies - my excitement, along with my three other brothers - was literally bouncing off the walls crazy. When I moved from NJ to Florida in my mid 20s, the food and drink and the gas prices of Wawa were the things I missed most besides my family and friends. But then four years later in 2012 when this first Floridian Wawa opened, and just a mile from my house... it was just unreal. And when I went to the Grand Opening, apparently 60,000 other people thought the same thing because people came from all over Florida... from Key West, Miami, Naples, all the way up north and went throught the panhandle; there were lots of people who drove from Georgia, and we even heard from some families from New Orleans! So for someone who hasnt been to a Wawa yet, or you truly dont understand all the hype... step inside one and order some fresh food or drink... or the next time youre low on gas, check the gas prices of whats around you. Without a doubt Wawa will always best their competitors. Want to know why the name, "Wawa"? If you notice the logo, its a flying bird above the word Wawa. Its a Canadian Goose, which are EVERYWHERE up there. Well... in the language of the Native Americans who settled in the NJ/PA/DE/MD areas, Wawa was their word to describe the goose. And now, the companys headquarters are so large, they have a whole town in Pennsylvania called Wawa, PA, with their original first store still standing, although recently remodeled.

Tldr: slow service, disregard of food safety rules and a rude manager. Long story took 5 extra minutes to check out due to the check out girl refilling the nickels one at a time. Then after I pumped my gas, they told me it would be a minute to have Mac and cheese ready, then after 2 minutes they said all that needs to be done is plate it. After wasting even more of my time they told me "The mac and cheese was at 129 degress and they arent allowed to serve it until it gets up to 160" as if it was a stupid rule. At that point what should of been a 5 to 10 minute stop was over 20 minutes and Im risking running late for work. So I asked for a refund they sent me over to a manager, who was dealing with a vendor so I got behind him to wait for her. She then yelled at me that it wasnt a line and that she was dealing with a vendor, I told her that I was waiting for a refund, she then rudely yelled that the line is over there. Which I waited on the same cashier to slowly re-bag the persons in front of me stuff because she wasnt listening. Then had to get the manager I was waiting on before to do the refund. Went from a good morning to a bad day and I dont think I will ever be back to this location. Even though it is close to work.

To some people Wawa is just a gas station but not to me. Im always at this particular location. Whether its for a quick breakfast, a slushy or a Red Bull I never have any complaints. Its always clean. Staff are quick and my favorite person Carmen is always there to make me smile. Shes literally the best employee ever. Always smiling, speaks to every customer and knows you by name. I did so many google searches just to get the corporate number to let them know how great a employee and just a wonderful person she is. This is a great location. If not for the cheap gas and good sandwich go see Carmen.

This store is home to the first ever Wawa in Florida, and just celebrated its 5th birthday! Always friendly. Always convenient. My favorite Wawa associate is a very friendly manager named Nancy. Shes a redhead but normally wears a hat. Shes the best! Do yourself the favor of downloading the Wawa Rewards app. Paying and ordering food/drinks via Mobile Ordering is WONDERFUL! Also, download the Coca Cola Freestyle app for some really cool and personalized flavor mixes!

Thank god Wawa is here they make the best hoagies. Florida has no clue as to how to make a good hoagie. We travel 1 and 1/2 hours to get there when we want a good hoagie. Iam so glad they are here. Now Please teach these people how to make good sandwitches and coffee, Please open more. Place was very clean Food EXCELENT OF COURSE? Staff very helpfull and friedly. Thank you for bringing down Jersey people EXCELLENT job.

I had a roast beef classic and a frozen tea, both excellent. The only problem is that ordering/paying/and picking up my food took about 50min. This is was during lunch time, so if you are tight on time, stay clear. The ordering kiosks are a great idea, but when you have families and kids trying to order, it takes way too long.

Service has gotten worse since it open. Super slow to get food always...please remember this is a tourist and locals convergence zone and staff properly. I know I am alone in this....but too much meat. Please add a light option. The amount of sauce used is criminal (my fault). Otherwise thank you for finally add salads!

I enjoy Wawa. The concept is like nothing else. They really carved out their own niche. From the free tire air, to the system of ordering and paying, to their specialty coffee beverages. Wawa is indeed a unique experience.

Its 2017 guys, there should never be a time at which you dont take credit cards. If you lose network connection, there are a hundred ways to switch for secondary. Completely unacceptable for this to happen, no excuse.

First Wawa in Central Florida...still the best one. On top of their usual made-to-order sandwiches and other items, the staff here are really friendly. Wawa always seems to have very competitive gas prices, as well!

By far my favorite gas station to go to. I have since moved out of the area and hope they open a WAWA soon in our area. They almost always have the cheapest gas and their stores are always clean and well stocked.

Store has poor customer service.... no acknowledgement when lines are long and their sandwiches are way way overrated and are not that tasty.... turn over is high so their employees must not be that happy.

Bad customer service and my sub was made with an old hard bread special order was prepared without asking the special order information. About to stop going to this location and maybe wawa overall.
