The food and price are 5 stars, 100%, and 2 thumbs up, but the service is ridiculously bad, so I have to take away 2 stars. I am not sure if its just the one waitress but me and my girlfriend have gone a couple times and from the moment we sit down it seems we were already asking for too much. For every item you ask for you can expect an eye roll and attitude. At first I was confused, wondering what we had said or if we asked for too much, because we didnt even ask for any special modifications to the order. But the last 3 times I had gone, its been the same thing, I dont know how somebody can wake up in such an aggravated attitude. My girlfriend asked for the bread they give everybody because they had not given it to us and we came in pretty hungry and the food normally takes a bit (I dont even need an excuse, restaurants normally serve bread, and when they do customers dont even have to ask, they just give it) anyways, when she asked she made a pretty big deal saying that her meal came with toast already and if she would like she can put in another order of toast, she made it seem so weird that we would ask for some bread to hold us off until our meal. It was to a point where I was afraid to asking for a refill of water and reminding her about the yuca frita that she forgot to bring us (which was very saddening) because she seemed like was about to snap. To this day I am still confused because I used to be a server and I understand the stresses so I normally try to make servers lives as easy as possible, so I dont understand the reason for the attitude over literally everything. In conclusion, the only complaint I have is the service, oh and the lack of butter on the toast, they could fix that too.

1. They look an appearance of this place is good . 2. The quality of the food is not all that great . I went there with high expectations of eating "Moro" which is there rice with black beans and the taste was nothing like it actually should be . It taste very bland no flavor to it whatsoever! 3. Their bakery side where they have sweets and sandwiches - The bakery sweets are delicious however the sandwiches are not all that good either . 4. Customer service - on the bakery side they usually have a young lady there that seems to be extremely too friendly to the men and appears to be desperate for someones man! You know what they say perception is everything!! She needs to learn customer service skills and how to professionally speak to customers instead of calling them my love, love baby, and things like that. As a diverse environment that comes into this location she should handle herself appropriately And should know that not everyone welcomes what she says to customers as youre trying to Pay for your food .

We visited the one that is up the street from this one because we got lost and couldnt find yours, that said, the service was terrible, my friend did not get her lemonade till her sandwich was cold. The girls were on the phone and talking personal business. One was actually SWEEPING while our food was being served. I had ask the server at the register to let her know but she continued. I asked her to please not to sweep while our food was on the table and she said "she was almost done". I am a american-cuban from Miami and moved here 25 yrs ago and was looking for Authentic food, I drove from Hunter Creek but was disappointed in the service which made my experience unpleasant. However the food was not bad but nothing to write home about. I definitely will not be back there and will not recommend it!

Theyre alright, okay. Sort of disappointing given all the really good Cuban options in Orlando. We went in for breakfast on a lark and Ill be the first to admit, we should have researched them more. Bargain breakfast prices, bland food - wasnt even colorful. And there wasnt anything special about the bread, either. Over easy eggs came out hard. Tap water was bleh; and probably the same stuff they put in the coffee and everything else. Thats never a good sign. Service was slow. Ended up estimating the bill and paying cash just to get out of there. Threes probably generous. And its a shame. Its a nice space, looks newly remodeled. The atmospheres festive. Looks fun. Lunch buffet was looking good rolling out too, whilst we dined.

Never again. I order an expresso and the omelette. Everyone that was in the place already had food on the table when I ordered. Was maybe 5 people there. Some eating some done eating. As more people came in and ordered I watched plates just come out as they walked pass me without my order. I watched a lot of plates come out. The whole lunch rush. Maybe this had to do with me being the only white person in there. Never again. People came in, ordered, ate, paid, and left before they realized they didnt put my order in. Girl was rude about it as she threw her arms up and said she would not charge. After reading reviews about the place being dirty boy and I glad I just left. Racist Cubans. Feel free to go back to your country. Trump.

Why 3☆ ... This place could EASY have a 4☆ but there are some things that could be fixed. 1) No matter is a cuban place would help TONS for them to have a "bilingual menu" as so many other spanish restaurants do. ( Remember theres a lot of americans that love our culture and food... so make it easy and pleasant for them as well ) 2) Improve the rotulation of the food... ;) it will make is better for us and easier for you as employees :) less repetition. 3)Place is clean... but it could be cleaner. Food was good, perfect temperature and not a long waiting time. Having menus out would help the line. Would definitely come back and try other plates.

OK i dont recommend this place anymore. The quality of the food has worsen, the old staff is gone and the service is the worst and slow. Started to get expensive for the food as well. $1.75 for extra bacon and all i got was half a piece. Bread tasted old and with barely any butter. Oh and dont you dare complain or the staff will eat you alive. The staff always have an attitude to everything, you cannot order anything or ask for anything cause they are always in a rush and it seems that get bother when you ask for something. Been coming here for a while and bringing friends. Sadly i dont recommend it now. Coffee is still good tho.

well i have to say this place is one of orlandos best kept secrets. i work near here and love to head in early so i can stop off to have breakfast at the old cuban cafe. i met people that live in orlando that have not heard of this place yet. i always try to remember to tell folks about it. the staff is great food great prices are amazingly low. the glass display always full of unbelievable treats from flan to tarts and you name it. i grew up in Miami and this place definitely takes me back.... even the coffee is worth the trip. love that old cuban cafe. you should try it for sure!!!!!!!!!!
