Light, fluffy pastries bring me back to visits to bakeries in France -- and here at Cafe 906 they are possibly even better. The owner Vince is always available and is personally making sure that everything is perfect. I like that I get a small balsamic salad with my Quiche Lorraine at breakfast. The coffees and espressos are spot-on, and the traditional French quickies like Croque Monsieur and Croque Madame are properly seasoned, grill-toasted to perfection, and served piping hot. The tarts have the right amount of sugar so youre not overwhelmed, but instead this lightness lets the flavor and sweetness of the fruit come through instead. This is a treasure, and its great new location in Baldwin Park affords superb outdoor dining with views of the fountain and the lake. I cant think of a single way it could be better. Thanks Vince and crew! :-)

Ça cest une blague de mauvais goût ! This is a bad joke. The pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant) is far from the original, even using the same ingredients. The croque-monsieur is a disgrace (bread, cheese and ham). The crepe could be better without the very sweet cheap chocolate syrup bought from Walmart or worst. You guys have a long way to go to be considered a French bakery. For those who never had a real taste of a real crepe, pain au chocolat or a well prepared croque-monsieur, can take a look at Croissant Gourmet or Benjamin. Much closer to France than this pretending "French bakery". Première et dernière fois. Horrible... Une arnaque !

Great little French bakery! It was packed when I went (my boyfriend and I had to share a table with another lady) There was only one person working (making espresso, preparing food, cleaning off tables, taking your order and cashing you out, serving your tables) so service was a little slow. The food was amazing though. It was a little pricey, We had the goat cheese and spinach quiche(fresh and light)the almond cream and chocolate chip pastry(amazingly rich and the crust was nice and flaky) and double shots of espresso. It all came to just under $16.00 We did not leave a crumb on our plate though and everything tastes homemade!

I live in Baldwin Park and just today visited Cafe 906 for the first time. Ive always liked breakfast at a French bistro and am glad to have tried them. I had a quiche, latte and eclair. Everything was delicious and I thought the staff was friendly. Everything appears to be made in-house, so I would consider the speed of service to be about right. The place is clean, atmosphere is OK, and I felt welcome and taken care of. Looking forward to many more meals here.

I just love this cafe. The owners are friendly and get to know their customers. They take the time to prepare each salad from scratch when you order it, no bags of pre-chopped lettuce in the fridge. The flan is amazing. The pastries are incredible. Do yourself a favor and get to know this place. Ive been visiting here for over a year and a half and I love it every time.

Very poor service! No one greeted us when we went in. They made mistakes in our order. We requested strawberry jam they come back to me and tell me we dont have grapes jam! The brie cheese baguette with figs, would be better if it was fig jam as it will be richer and less bread! On the other hand the almond croissant was very delicious.

Good service, fair prices (considering the high-rent locale) and authentic French fare. Decent dark roast coffee, too. My only gripe (and this applies to any food establishment) is the swiveling I-pad with pre-set tip options. I have a problem with being asked to pre-tip and the staff knowing my tip amount before I am served...

I love supporting local businesses and this is a good one. The coffee and pastries are fantastic. The staff is very friendly and you can even speak French with them if you choose. Ive made it a bit of a ritual to walk down and have a coffee and croissant in the mornings when Im off work. Its something I look forward to.

This place is the best... Fresh! Tasty! Thee QUiches are the best Ive had anywhere and the portions are prefect if you like to share. Improvement would be to add fresh squeeze Orange Juice. There is sitting outside and location is right next to the beach lake. Service is really sweet and friendly. Highly recommended...

I was looking for a Starbucks today and stumbled upon Café 906. When I heard the Owners French accent, I went from ordering just an iced coffee to an iced coffee and 4 pastries to take home. They are AMAZING! I will make a special trip to Baldwin Park (from Longwood) just for this café! Delicious! Thank you

Absolutely horrible owners with no compassion for thier employees..they are constantly yelling at thier employees and treating them with no respect.. The poor employees are afraid to speak to the managers about any concerns constantly having to walk on eggshells during the whole shift. . simply horrid

Good light breakfast place. Sandwiches are good, croissants are authentic though I wish they carried pan du resin. Cafe au lait is Americanized and if you have had coffee in Paris you would be somewhat disappointed. Good friendly service. Definitely recommend as breakfast/lunch/brunch place.

I witnessed an employee crying after being treated terribly because her son was ill and she was 15 minutes late. I refuse to put money into the pockets of owners who mistreat their employees and I hope that you all will think twice before visiting this place!

The coffee may currently be the best in Baldwin Park. The breakfast, no so much. Very bland and not at all filling for the price. Everything tastes as if it were previously frozen and quickly thawed to order, especially the hash browns.

I have been here a couple of time. The food is okay but for what youre paying it should be amazing. The service wasnt too bad but the inconsistency with the food quality has made it to where I will probably never go again

Great place to get a cup of coffee and a pastry. Definitely grab a fruit tart while you are there. Sandwiches and crepes are top notch!! Service is great and the owners are very friendly. If you are sitting ask for Brenna!

I ordered an omelette and didnt like it, the chef literally came out and yelled at me in the middle of the restaurant because i didnt like the omelette. It was extremely embarrassing. I am never going back there again.

This is a terrific place to take a girl you like! They have delicious breakfast / brunch and a good Mimosa special. And chef yelling at you is part of traditional french cafe experience NEPHY -- you probably deserved it!

Went to brunch on Sunday around 11am. Was my first time visiting and was not impressed. The portion sizes were small and the food bland. I wont be coming back, at least not for brunch.

This is the home of the perfect croissant. A great weekend stop, for quiche or galettes or many of the other simple french fare and lovely cafe au lait.
